- Enjoy a ride on the Honda PCX 125 to my favourite chicken shop in Fulham (Chicken Cottage, North End Road - they have the best burgers). I have missed this bike it's so fun to ride.

Got one two days ago. I rode it only once so far from the Honda shop where i bought it. I was pretty nervous because i never rode any motocykle or scooter before and i was pretty used to bicycle only. Some people says it feels similar, only that you don't have to peddle. And nope, it doesn't feel similar. You can feel the much higher weight between your legs (lol) and it's not that swift in cornering/turning and it did surprised me on my first ride. But it's cool scooter, it's just that i am noob. I bought it for courier job and tomorrow i will be probably delivering all day on it. So hopefully, no accident is gonna happen.
It definitely is not like riding a bike at all. It has a completely different riding style the only similarity is that they both have two wheels. I guess it's easier than riding a geared bike, maybe that's why they said it's like riding a bicycle.
Don't worry my friend you will get used to it very quickly. It may be something new to you now but you will get the hang of it and love to ride. Especially that you need it for work. How was your first couple of days on it? Share with us your experience
@@TEKKYTWO I was working two days now. Got about 250km on in two days. I got used to it quickly, but i have to say that i was making more money on bicycle. It's probably because i'm scare to go through high traffic between cars, if you know what i mean. So i'm always waiting behind the cars. Also, i don't know the whole city like my colleagues and they also know what orders is good to take and what not. So i will be probably switching between bicycle and scooter until i learn all tricks. My colleagues are making more on scooter. Way way more.
@@viktorzeman5202how are you doing now?
@@user-dl4mq4oh4y Now i'm working on the scooter every day and making shitton of money. Going through traffics like crazy that sometime i wonder if i get home alive :D I have zero problem controlling the scooter now. Got almost 14k km on it in few months.
duuude i gotta get one of these now!
Damn right you do, they're awesome!
Your brave to be bombing it down king’s road I see the motorcycle federally always chilling outside Big Easy
I've not seen them chilling outside Big Easy but I do see them coming from Fulham going towards Stamford Bridge. There is always police in these areas. It is what it is, thanks for the heads up 👊
Hi there. The speed is kmh or mph?
Getting this as my 125 oppinons on it I'm quite lightweight had a 50 cc before only thing I didn't like was the damm wind lol hopefully as more power be better on this one 👍
Love the pcx Videos , Buying one in July 💯
Thank you! I hope you enjoy the vids as much as I do riding. You will love it the pcx. I personally think it's the best 125cc scooter in it's class 😍👌
@@TEKKYTWO can’t wait 😀🤝
@@Labielle I'm excited for you let me know how it goes 👊
Ordered one getting it next week
that's awesome!
Bikes a belter mate, gonna cop myself one soon.
It is my favourite 125 scooter, I don't think anything can beat it in it's category 🙌
@@TEKKYTWO too right mate, I know a few with it and they say the same 👍🏼
@@TEKKYTWO what about the nmax?
Great video..and I'm toying with either this or the vespa gs125. I like being able to step through rather than step over, but maybe I could get used to it in the PCX. Can I ask what do you use to lock it at night?
Hi Simon, sorry for the late reply. Yeah being able to step through a scooter has it's advantages. When I had the Yamaha Vity I could carry large items between my legs that would normally not fit under the seat. However I adapted quickly to the PCX and I think I prefer this set up because I can grab the bike with my legs to have more control. I use an ALMAX chain (and oxford boss disc brake locks) to lock my bikes. Hopefully that helps, ride safe 👊
I personally use and recommend The Oxford Monster chain and padlock Gold security weather proof extremely resistant and robust ni-cro-mo steel
@@columbmurray 80 years old!. Respect. You ever come off your bike at any point? Since my last message I've since passed my test and got a 500x manual. But I still love twist and goes
so where is the chicken shop...?😁 nice ride by the way
Thanks! It is Chicken Cottage on North End road but I don’t recommend it anymore. Prices have increased quite a bit and quality of the food is not there. I need to find a new spot 😅 Any recommendations?
guys anyone knows how to lock /unlock the steering wheel?
as in after switching it off , I know is to the extreme of either side of the bike but the what to do with the bottoms? sorry never had a bike before and the manual looks confusing and I am scared to damage the bike by trying without knowing as is brand new! please help.
thank you in advanceee!
Hi Clabs, once you turn off the bike turn the handle bar to the left and the keys 2 clicks to the left also. Then proceed to remove the key. This should lock your steering. You can check you've done it correctly by gently pushing the handle bars towards the centre. If done correctly, the handle bar should now be locked and it will not return to centre until you unlock it with your key. I hope this helps, ride safe 👊
Love watching biking/ driving videos i find them so therapeutic and it provides you with a virtual window into other cities. Thanks for the great content 👊🏽👊🏽
I'm planning on getting a pcx, ordered one back in November and been waiting ever since until then i just binge watch your videos lol.
How come your back on your pcx?
That means alot man thanks for the compliment and binge watching my videos 😂👍 I agree with you I too find them therapeutic and fun to watch, also very fun to make haha.
How come it is taking so long for your pcx to arrive? I'm sure once you get on it you'll understand why I love it so much.
I'm back on the pcx because it's the scooter that I own - I never owned the nmax I just made videos on it.
@@TEKKYTWO No probs man and aha keep bringing us the content 👊
Aah mate I'm asking myself the same question so annoying. when I ordered in November they said they didn't have anything until December and then they said it would be January and the new models but supposedly covid and Brexit has affected the manufacturers being up and running and getting parts through the ports.
Feels like forever. longest ever wait, feel like fighting the dealership 🤣 I won't obviously.
An aah I didn't know that. either way, whatever mode of transport you're on the content will always be enjoyable to watch.
I did consider getting an Nmax but wasn't keen on the handle bars section, prefer the metal one on the PCX.
Thank you bro I appreciate your comments 👊
Yeah I contacted a dealership a few days ago and they said they will not have stock of the new pcx 2021 until May. It sucks to be waiting for so long but it's worth it! They are so fun to ride. I definitely prefer the pcx over the nmax and I think you made the right choice.
I love comments like these because it gives me more motivation to post new videos, thanks again! 🙌
Dude, I'm desperate for my PCX the more I watch your videos! 🤣🤣 Are you using a GoPro to record? If so, what type of mount and feature to reduce wind noise?
Hahahaha you will get it soon! Yes I am using a GoPro Hero 8 with a windslayer to reduce the wind noise. I use a J mount (search J mount for GoPro on Amazon) with sugru to attach it to my helmet.
Deffo need to upload more
Thank you 🙌 I will start to upload regularly in June/July.
@TEKKY TWO The rpm burst is caused by the electronic fuel injection, that's why I prefer carbs for a direct throttle response
I've been wondering why this happens sometimes. Thank you Lordracula 👌
That’s looks fun asf
It is very fun 😄
do you prefeer the pcx or the nmax?
Pcx ;)
Great video I need one of these bikes 😎🔥
Thank you! Yeah they're fantastic bikes the PCX I love it!
Do you ride with idling stop on or off
I prefer riding with it off just because there is usually alot of traffic but I do turn it on sometimes 👍
My 17 plate pcx with 4000 miles makes a weird sound and I think it's when pressing the front break then coming to a stop and ravingthe frontal again it makes this cassava sound as if something's dragging not sure if it normal and have u ever had this sound
It makes this zzzzzzzz sound
I don't think we have this sound. It's best if you check with your local mechanic they will be able to help you.
@@TEKKYTWO I did they said it might be something to do with the belt but they said it was fine and was best to wait till the bike gets to 10k mileage to open up the engine and see
@@uraretalkingrubbish6589 hmm I see. How long does this sound last? Does it go away after a few seconds or the entire time you are riding?
@@TEKKYTWO literally about a second nothing mad I didn’t think it was bad just wondering I thought it was either the cold weather and haven’t let the bike warm up Properly or the oil but the day I got it checked out I did went for oil change as it reached 1000 since last one and it didn’t acc make the noise till the day after and do you let your bike warm up before riding when it’s cold and if u do for how long roughly do you think is good?
lol - love the title of your vLog - (made my day)
Thank you I'm glad it did xD
The sudden burst of rpm is normal. The 150cc variant also has it as well
Aha okay. My handle bar also vibrates as I start to move from a stand still up until about 5mph. The vibration is quite vigorous. At normal speeds it does do this. Would you know why this is happening? Thanks
@@TEKKYTWO Not sure about the handlebar vibration but I think it's from the engine vibration? Only had a chance to ride a PCX 150 once and it didn't have that issue.
@@bennybouken okay fair enough. I need to check why this is happening soon. I have not ridden the PCX in almost 3 months hahaha
@@TEKKYTWO no worries man! 3 months? That's a long time
😂
@@bennybouken yeah I have been very busy with university! As soon as I start riding again I will post more videos 👌
Just ordered the 2021. North end road my old area 😀

Thanks bro 🙌
Bro do you not get caught by the speed cameras? 😂
I don't ride fast all the time, 90% of my riding is slow I only upload the interesting clips 😂
@@TEKKYTWO don't you get caught tho whilst your doing your "exciting vids" 😂
@@adonbiju6036 well obviously not otherwise he wouldn't be riding. You only get so many times for speeding before your licence gets taken off you. Usually a 12month ban. Or worse. Licence revoked.
is this 2021 model?
It is the 2019 model
Just got a PCX 2012, What are your thoughts on the older models?
Very bad
@@libzyfarz4788 Why
@@amarok9749 so old
@@libzyfarz4788 And? Just because its a few years old doesn't make it bad. My brothers Honda scooter was a 2003 model and that ran fine for like 4 years.
Not as fuel efficient as the new ones but decent enough. Aslong as you look after it. And keep maintained and serviced. It'll last over 50k miles. There's a 2017 model on the forums with 100,000miles on it. Still has the same head and piston in. It's been looked after very well. It's when you neglect them that they become problematic. I've got the 2021 nmax and pcx and they're still doing great. Although they are slow compared to my new aprilia sr gt😁
That ticket gonna be pain I saw that flash but the food will change it 😺😺
Check again, 7:51, I think it was the flash from the shop window 🤞😅
If it’s an auto the delay is because it’s in second then moves into first gear I think
That sounds right to me, I was thinking the same thing. Thank you Dan 👌
Buddy, scooters have belt transmission
its not gears, since its a CVT belt, the delay most likely comes from the computed traction control / torque control that avoids spinning wheels at start , u can disable it in dashboard
@@fat_cat8108 traction control isn't on the 2019 model.
Scooters don't have gear transmissions ...
Very Hungry 😅
Doing 50 in a 20 naughty naughty lol😂😂😂😂
You're being too loud 😂
yeah, ok
Pcx vs n max ???
Pcx
What year is your bike
2019
Very Hungry 😅
You're not yourself when you're hungry 😂
What phone does this phone holder hold up to
I'm pretty sure it could hold any phone. I have a note 9, which is a big phone, and it fits fine.
@@TEKKYTWO does it have a hole at the bottom bro so u can charge your phone with portable charge or listen to music with wires
Yes mine does. Even if you buy one without a hole you can leave it slightly open at the bottom so you can charge it or listen to music. I wouldn't advise you to use wires when listening to music because it will distract you whilst riding. Look for a bluetooth headset, this way you can also make phone calls 👍
That injector needs seeing to. I could hear injector knock on idle/pullaway
I will check up on that thank you for the shout, nice spot 🙌
What exactly do you hear? I got brand new PCX so would be good to know :)
@@TEKKYTWO any update
Does the pcx have abs?
yes it has abs at the front only

@@ut3199 no worries bro
Yes. Even the new one has. But rear drum brake. The drum brake does just fine.
Laik.pcx 2
How are back brakes are they good?
The brakes are quite good but the Nmax brakes are better in my opinion.
my friend how are the brakes on this bike,i heard and i reading but comments about it.why the fuck honda added again drum brake at rear.all scooters at 2021 have disk brake at rear wheel.....very bad move by honda
The front brake is good but unfortunately the rear brakes on the PCX is not the best. It does not feel as strong as the rear ABS brakes on the NMax.
Is it original exhaust?
Yes it's the original exhaust 🤙
