I am ex athiest. I used to mock christians and say it was all just a fairy tale to help people die in peace. Until i overdosed and stood before Jesus. His face is as bright as the sun. I couldnt see any details of his face but i could see his arms were held out like to hug me and they were a dark tan color, not white or black. Which makes sence remembering he was born in the middle east desert!! When he held out his arms the light got brighter and i felt so much love and peace and raw power that i cant even find the right words to describe them. Jesus is God in the flesh. God is a trinity. All power the father has Jesus also has. He has existed with the father since before the earths creation.

I read your book and as a result I don’t want my worst enemy to go there. But it’s their choice. I heard that punishment continues in hell because sin continues. They don’t repent, it seems they have lost the ability to repent. I’m just glad I accepted Him over 50 years ago!
Even if a person in hell were to stop sinning, they would still have to stay there forever because even just one sin alone justifies eternal punishment and that's why Jesus died on the cross so we don't have to go to hell.
Of course there are people there right now, open a Bible and stop deceiving yourself and others.

A person who hates God would rather spend their life in hell and have nothing to do with him. Therefore God gives that person what he wants "eternal separation from him".

Greetings Bill I am always amazed by the way people just don't understand that God does not go back on His word, for He is a Holy God, we cannot live without Him, if we want His blessings we must understand He is also a God of Holy order and discipline. Thank you for giving these brief points with scriptures I appreciate it, we serve a fair God, Jesus Christ is the only God that paid for our sins with His Blood so that we can inherit. When people suffer horribly for an eternity in Hell I don’t feel sorry for them one bit. I could care less. They know the way to Heaven. They don’t accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior so they made eternal suffering in Hell their destination.
That’s pretty callous to say . And what makes you think your better ? Just accepting Jesus isn’t good enough . Your attitude towards the lost is flawed .

The fact that people deny Jesus and deny there is a Hell is sad really. They who deny Jesus, He will deny in front of His Father in Heaven. One day we will all stand before God and answer for our sin. Just know that if you do these things you will go to Hell unless you repent before you die.
Like God said, on that day He's either gonna say one of two things
"Well done my good and faithful servant"
Or
"Away from me you worker of lawlessness, I never knew you"
Like Jesus (God) said in His gospel
He only expects 3 VERY simple things in life
1. Repent of your sins/deny yourself
2. Believe the gospel
3. Follow Him
If you can do those 3 things, you'll have your spot reserved for you in heaven
1st peter 1. We have an inheretance that will never perish, spoil or fade, kept in heaven for you

@@arcticbreeze4747 I'm sorry you had a hard life but it isn't God's fault. It is man and their sin that causes life to be bad. God is all good and never mean or bad. People blame God when you should blame man and the devil for sinful nature and evil deeds. God loves you and wants to be with you. Just trust in his son Jesus and you will never have a hard life ever again in Heaven for all eternity. If you don't want God, He will give you what you want. To be away from Him for all eternity which is Hell. It's your choice, not God's. Everyone has bad stuff happen to them, especially Christians.
Yahweh is a fair God
He isnt. He created humans just to send them to hell. He knew what will happen
Humans who don't want Jesus while they're alive will go to a place where Jesus is not there when they die. Isn't that what they want? They have nothing to complain. How can you reject Jesus and yet wants to live in his house? Does not make sense.
Bill if people who die go direct to hell or heaven.. then what is the purpose of the coming judgement day & Jesus' second coming?

@@timothylibila becuse god is giving people time to repent while there alive and those who repented are saved from hell the people that are in hell will be judged at judgement day and be cast in to the lake of fire with the devil and his angels

I think that god gives everyone a 2nd chance when saten is released after the 1000 years because it would not make sence to bring everyone out of hell just to throw them into the lake of fire im not 100% sure tho this is just my guess
As a curious child of God I wonder since the scripture says hell/hades will be thrown into the lake of fire I mean when the dead get judged are they relived from there torment for a litttle while being judged? Then they are cast into the lake of fire. Would love a clear explanation. Scripture also says in part I know as am fully known. God bless and thank God for bill wiese

it's interesting to me that when Jesus spoke about eating his flesh and drinking his blood that's when he lost disciples. now it seems like we struggle with this teaching. i wonder why? when Jesus preached about eternal hell or heaven people didn't seem to argue the fairness of that in the bible. they seemed concerned with other things (his claims to be God and so on), why?
is it because we have our own ideas of "justice" so well developed? is it because we see ourselves as basically "good" people?

Bill, i have 2 questions. I wonder why God all knowing and all mighty bothered to create us if he knew we would sin and end up in hell. Why bother give us free will just to reject him and then me tormented for eternity? I think id rather not exist or have free will vs going to hell for not for not believing and commiting sins here and there
Look at it this way: Why would a woman choose to have children in certain African nations, knowing full well that 70 to 80% of her children will die of starvation? It's because of the ones that will survive. Why did God create angels knowing full well that 1/3 of them would rebel against Him and would be cast from His presence forever? Because of the ones He knew would not abandon Him. The same analogy goes for us as humans. God created us with free will to choose Hon or reject Him. He took that chance with us, knowing that people would freely reject Him and some would freely choose Him. It was worth it to Him. I love how people make comments on here about Hod and who He is and what He would or would not do, without the slightest clue about their reasoning. We're not God, but yet people think they know all about Him with human arguments that end up discrediting themselves. We want it OUR way or no way, right? Forget about what the Bible says, right? It doesn't work like that.
@scottshippeejoshua I see, but the base for my questions come from: God knowing all and being omnipotent why not create the ones he knew wouldn't rebel so others don't bother existing to later suffer in hell?
Comes down to free will. God gave us free will to choose Him or reject Him. He does not send us to hell. We make that decision when we reject Him. It's difficult, yes, to comprehend eternal suffering. There are verses saying, "Who are we to question God?" He is the potter, we are the clay. Throughout our lives, He sends people across our paths to witness to us and people go their entire lives rejecting Him. In the end, He is not being unfair, but just. He wants us to freely choose Him. He won't force Himself on any of us. For some reason, people who have life after death experiences always say the same thing (if it's a hell experience). They knew, somehow, that they deserved to be there. It's a disturbing fact, but a hard question to answer.
@scottshippeejoshua I'm not saying it should be my way or I could do it better, I'm genuinely curious becuase like I mentioned I'd rather not have existed or exist without free will than to end up in hell for eternity
But the reward in heaven will be worth it. Scripture says, "Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor has entered into the minds of man the things God has prepared for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose". Again, I understand your question. I can't stand to think of people I know who reject Him constantly...the thought torments me as to them going to hell. I only know God is just and His judgments are true. He suffered a horrible death for us to be able to spend eternity in heaven with Him. I'm just glad He provided a way before time even began, according to scripture. Scripture says He's always striving with us to come to Him. In the end, I don't believe He's being unreasonable at all...to my human understanding.

I admit, I believe you, but I've been struggling with the fact that God punishes people with horrific torment for all eternity. I cant wrap my mind around a loving God doing that to His creation. I know I'm not God and His ways are above mine. I just struggle with it. I beg for mercy cuz i cannot go there, ever. 💔
Look into conditional immortality/annihilationism. Check out Edward Fudge's hour long lecture on final punishment.
@MatthewViljoen-so4ft annihilation definitely isn't true. God's word Is very clear...hell is for eternity. I just can't believe God would do that. It blows my mind. Even the worst parents would never, ever want their offspring to suffer eternal burning.
You are struggling because you are thinking about it in the secular world and our laws. Spiritual law cannot be comprehended by our thoughts while alive on earth.

Unsaved don't have immortal souls, Adam and Eve were not allowed to eat from tree of life, only God has immortality, saved get immortality at Resurrection. What he says doesn't appear to be in line with bible.
According to the Bible, Cain killed his brother Abel and was cursed by God1. However, there is no mention of Cain going to hell in the scriptures2. Instead, he dwelt in the land of Nod and fathered descendants, Not saying he did not
It’s interesting that when The Lord spoke to him. Cain mouthed off to God and said: “Am I my brother’s keeper?” And when God gave him punishment. Cain showed no remorse but was only crying for himself. The lost do not realize God is giving them space to repent. Even His punishment is mercy full.

@brandenbarnett6093 Romans 10:9-11 says, " If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. 11 As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.” Be sincere, read your Bible and find a Bible believing church. Start in Matthew to get to know Jesus.
God doesnt send people to hell. Its your choice. If you don't invite Jesus to take over your life - he will wait until you do.
Eternal torment is not fair. A loving God wouldnt allow this

Hi Bill, I think it's not fair anyone goes to Hell because of Revelation 21:8. People should have the opportunity to see God and then God gives them an option at that time. It's a sad story
The foolishness of God is greater than the wisest of men.
The people who go to Hell are there justly because they rejected the only provision for their sins, Jesus Christ. God was fair to them and gave them a choice and they chose Hell.
You must have grown up safe perhaps? Watch crime, child abuse and concentration camp documentaries. Go visit an impoverished 3rd world country and live there a while. Without a trust fund if you have one. It is horrible to be tortured, enslaved or murdered. But only they know the value of hell.
The Pharisees saw Jesus, who is God, healing people but they still rejected him. The human heart can be extremely wicked and evil
