Best video on Cv joints and boots. Clear speaking, great lighting, and not a bunch of extra talking!! Great job!!!!

Outboard CV joint removal...a few taps and yours popped right off. Mine won't budge, it looks just like yours. I went from light taps to hard smacks...won't even try to budge.

It's a pain. Hit from one side and switch to the other is what I did. After 5 minutes it finally popped off. There's a little ring inside holding it in place.

@@ryanmassengale5652 I spun it around and beat on it with and without a ling brass dowel. I didn't see the point of trying penetrating oil considering it is packed with grease. In the end I removed the other end.

Good video, it helped me for sure. But why couldn't you just take off one side and slide both boots off? Guessing making sure properly greased?

I followed your instructions to replace a CV Boot on the passenger side front of my 2012 Arctic Cat 700 Mud Pro H1.
I got that done, but when I went to test it, my ATV now has a clunk in it towards the back when I shift from Reverse to H or L.
There's two things I did that might or might not play a part. While I had it jacked up I shifted it out of 4X4 so I could rotate the axle hub. The second thing was I rolled the bike ahead while it was in N and on the floor jack. Any ideas appreciated. Thx.

Very good information. But I would not hit the bearing with a mallet. I would put a deep well socket or a pipe over the threaded shaft and punch the bearing in

This is how to remove a rear axel.
Check out the other videos, I’m sure the front is the same.
