just a little nitpick but is Connor's audio not from the SM7b? I've never heard an SM7b sounding like that before, the compressor definitely needs to be dialed back down a little and the attack is way too slow.
BEST marketing every. Lend/give your products to the people that will promote and market it to similar and different audiences. Have them create visuals that consumers will say "i want to be able to do that, i need that camera too."
I think most people would be happy with the regular S5ii. Being able to record to a SSD is nice tho…. if they could add better AF in the slow motion settings by firmware…. I do expect them to improve AF overall in the future based on what they did with the G9 and other past cameras

But there's this one thing hurts to look at, Dave was on the green screen, auto focus not setup throughly (I don't know) while Dave moves a lot. Just concerned about s5iiX has IPstream, and if focus is like that streamers will have a problem. I love you guys I watch your contents always.
Yeah we have no idea why it sucked so bad. If you watch the latest interview I used the same camera and changed the AF setting from “face/eye” to “human” and it worked with no issues.
Please tell me this is an issue with your settings or is it the light catching the rim of your glasses. Auto focus in this is shocking. If I didn’t know better I would have guessed you were an advocate for either Sony on Canon, illustrating why not to buy this camera. As someone who is literally just about to switch from Nikon to Panasonic it does not fill me with confidence. I use Sony’s in my work and much like you have no real love for their ergonomics, but they do work.
Would be pretty dumb to get rid of your c70 when you love it as much as you do. I understand you're getting free cameras but I just don't think you'll be happy long term using that after using c70 for the last few years
It doesn’t make sense to have two S1H II bodies. People buying the S1H cameras are primarily shooting video and need higher end, specs than what the S5 II bodies offer. We’ll get one S1H II and it will be priced accordingly to include its features. Current rumours are: 50mp sensor 8K60p 4K120p DCI 8K 8K & 6K external RAW Phase detect AF 5.76mp OLED EVF 2.33mp rear LCD 4:2:2 10-bit internal recording Dual native ISO Best in class IBIS It will easily outclass Sony cameras.
Yeah we can't wait for the S1H II or whatever it'll be called. Will certainly be a flagship video camera... just a shame they are late to the game. A lot of people who switched to the Sony a7SIII would have probably loved whatever this S2H is going to be... though... late is better than never.

Having purchased the S5ii would you recommend getting the raw unlock key or would it be worth jumping to the S5iix?
Definitely not worth selling just to buy the S5iiX. And to be honest, do you really need raw? Most people don’t. We personally never shoot raw
