The church is NOT a refuge for sinners!!! Scripture clearly refutes it and declares the Church is the body of Christ, home of saints. Sinners welcome to VISIT but it can't be their home. Light has no fellowship with darkness.
Is that why the bible says the church will become corrupted because it is full of saints. You need to read your bible again and pray for wisdom of the word. The temple of God is within you not a building for fellowship. You are not to worship in the church but within the confines of your private space.
The home of saints is in the kingdom of God not some brick and mortar building that is a construct of the material world. Church is a place of confirmation and a place to talk about the word it is for sinners to learn the word of God and start their path with the Lord. Read John and it tells you how to pray and worship.

John 8:44 tells us the devil is the father of liars and he is a liar. If we are to fact check the steps of Christ he gathered with the sinners (the people perceived as sinners by the pharisees and Sadducee). If Christ took these people in and dined with them and accepted them but didn't accept their sin, can't we as Christians who press towards being more like Christ also accept people perceived to be sinners without accepting their sin? My issue with the video is the way you make it seem like Snoop should be shut out from the church just because he has a history. The church cant shut it's doors. Comparing Christianity to other religions liberties is an error in itself because God has granted us liberty, not liberty to sin but liberty to live free from the law and from sin. C. S. Lewis said in his book mere Christianity that we have no right to judge or ask if anyone is a Christian because we don't exist in their heart, all we can do is judge if the person is a good or bad Christian.

Nor is everyone in the Church building every week saved. This is exactly why we must be careful while we are trying to prevent others from coming in. Take a look at who is already coming to church; and, how holy they truly are. I to I am a believer, But I want to ask you a question: How can one be saved if they don't come as they come as they are? We weren't saved before we were saved, everybody has a past and Jesus died while we were yet in our sin. I do agree with you on one thing; the church has and should always have a standard. I am a born again believer, I try to be careful how I use the word Christian (or in other terms Christ-like). I must say I was caught off guard with the Snoop Dogg ‘gospel’ album, just like I was with Nicki Minaj ‘gospel’ song. Not saying that they’re not worthy of worshipping the Lord or using their talents to praise Him. I don’t know their heart or their motive. But I pray to the Lord that their hearts and souls are true, because so much power lies in our tongue. I try so hard to not only follow His commandments, but to also follow His teaching and His way. 1 of which is “Let he who is without sin cast the first stone.” And I don’t know about you all, but I’m not without sin. Truth be told, NO ONE is- except children (and even after a certain age they’re accountable for their own sin). Yes, I know that it’s true that the Bible says “come as you are”. But if you never go, then how will you change/transform from old self to new self and be born again. Christianity or believing in Christ Jesus is not 1 of the frozen dinners you pick up at your local grocery store. Nor is it like when people dress up in work out gear from head to toe and watch everyone else work out. We as believers (for the few or many that is) is living in very troubling and trying times right now. Let’s be honest for a second, the gospel album is 1 of many of our problems right now. And if we’re not prepared or actually willing to make a change, then it does “us” as a whole no good. It seems like there’s not many real Christians around anymore. Before anyone become offended please keep reading, take a look around your neighborhood, city, state, nation, even other parts of the world. If your neighborhood is full of hungry or homeless people, or gang violence, child molesters, “same sex marriage” and you don’t try to do anything or care to help change your city or state, then you may be one of the ones I was speaking on not being a real follower of Christ. If you try to find reasons or ways to get out of tithing, or follow a pastor that you know isn’t of the Lord, or judge someone by how ‘cute’, ‘ugly’, or ‘skimpy’ a person who comes into your church home looks, if you will pass by your enemy when they’re in need without so much as a second glance. More than likely I was very much referring the statement about real Christians to you. No I’m not sweeping Snoop Dogg ‘gospel’ album under the rug, because it is very much important, especially if it was not produced of God or with Jesus Christ anointing. But if you plan on only speaking about your concerns on social media and not do anything, then your faith without your works are dead. Sometimes the Lord allows things to happen to see how we will respond, that’s our test. If we respond in a way pleasing to His sights, not man’s- then He will turn our test into a testimony. And yes there are things that we as Christians can do if we really want change and I’m referring to the album and anything else for that matter, but it starts with taking a stand for Christ. I don’t have much to say about the album because I was always taught that you don’t have to go to church to be saved, that you can accept the Lord Jesus at anyplace, at anytime, and that you go to church to worship, fellowship, and grow closer in your walk with Jesus. Now if a person came up to me claiming that they accepted the Lord while they was out clubbing last night, then I would be very skeptical, but at the same time it isn’t my place to judge. That’s why I ask the Lord to bless me with a discerning spirit. As far as supporting or even listening to the album, I will have to do some serious praying, talking, and LISTENING to the Lord, I suggest that my fellow Christian brothers and sisters do the same. And please keep in mind that the Lord can and will use anyone to do His works, He’s used a nonbeliever before, what makes it so impossible now? I think the church should be a refuge for any persons no matter what their background is. You alluded to this early in the video by God so loved the WORLD. that includes everyone. not that the church is perfect (God knows it's not) but because as some of us were once alienated from God. We all were saved from something. The church thrives off of "once were" the same grace we received is the same grace we should be willing to give. If you are a practicing sinner you are not “once saved always saved.” Sin builds a partition between us and God. How do we know that this man has not already repented and given his life to Christ? Why are we making assumptions? We should be celebrating a new soul coming to the body of Christ; as opposed to trying to push him away. If we are that afraid of him coming in, we must not be that strong in our own faith and walk. I remember when I used to play in the church band we had to be ON TIME be there for prayer, had to be a faithful member. I mean you had to put in time before even letting you up on stage because at the end the day we were ministering to the congregation , I mean people these days they just let anyone go up on stage because of certain status..... there is no more reverence at all.....
Some churches still require that today; but, not enough of them do. Whatever church Snoop Dog is interested in joining will, prayerfully, ensure the same. And, that is what our prayer, as concerned Christians should be. But, Snoop should definitely be welcomed to join the church; and, grow in his walk just as anyone else is being allowed to. Discrimination in the church is the last thing we need; and, unfortunately, it happens all too often; and, people end up leaving the church and falling by the wayside as a result. I was one of them.

Everybody who comes to the church is, first unequally yoked, until they give their lives to Christ. But, how can they if they are being run away from the church before having opportunity to be ministered to, saved, join church, etc? People come to the church all the time with all kinds of gifts and talents; and, we welcome them in. People are acting fearful because this is Snoop Dog. His soul needs saving just as anybody else's does; and, we must consider that, first and foremost.
Who is in charge of the church? Jesus Christ is! It is His church; He bought it with His blood. I agree black Christians are the most naive, we have to read God's word. Then He will open our eyes. I have been lead astray for years until I started reading myself and stop listening to what people told me. God opened my eyes to the truth. And 98% or the churches are teaching the wrong thing.
When a person says GOD they could be referring to an idol. Money can be a persons God. He mentions the LORD but he is not surrendering himself to the LORD. NO where in his video does he say I belong to you LORD Jesus Christ. His God could be satanic. Listen to the lyrics very carefully. All have to obey Acts 2:38 the same way they came when the church got started. The Jews, Gentiles, and Samaritans all came the same way. The thing is did the gospel artist out there already obeyed Acts 2:38 and got saved the right way. Many believe all you have to do is just say I believe and you are saved. That is nowhere in the Bible. I think according to the scriptures they should obey Acts 2:38 and learn of the ways of the Lord first. While we are discerning whether Snoop is truly returning as a genuine brother in the body of Christ, we must be busy discerning and praying for everybody in the body of Christ; not just Snoop Dog. But, let's also be careful not to run him away from the church if, perhaps, God may be allowing this to be his last opportunity to turn his life around. Now, is the time for the Church to demonstrate it's authenticity as well. Are we praying for the people, who are trying to return to God? Or, are we being so suspicious that we will turn people away; and, they end up falling by the wayside and losing their souls due to our fear of them. We should be strengthening ourselves as well as them. Prayer is needed very much for such a time as this.

I'm following Snoopdogg on his Instagram page and all I'm seeing is pure garbage. The church is NOT a refuge for sinners!!! Scripture clearly refutes it and declares the Church is the body of Christ, home of saints. Sinners welcome to VISIT but it can't be their home. Light has no fellowship with darkness.

The home of saints is in the kingdom of God not some brick and mortar building that is a construct of the material world. John 8:44 tells us the devil is the father of liars and he is a liar. If we are to fact check the steps of Christ he gathered with the sinners (the people perceived as sinners by the pharisees and Sadducee). If Christ took these people in and dined with them and accepted them but didn't accept their sin, can't we as Christians who press towards being more like Christ also accept people perceived to be sinners without accepting their sin?
I need to add that I am not saying that Snoop Dogg is right and without error. My issue with the video is the way you make it seem like Snoop should be shut out from the church just because he has a history. The church cant shut it's doors. Comparing Christianity to other religions liberties is an error in itself because God has granted us liberty, not liberty to sin but liberty to live free from the law and from sin.

Nor is everyone in the Church building every week saved. This is exactly why we must be careful while we are trying to prevent others from coming in. Take a look at who is already coming to church; and, how holy they truly are. I to I am a believer, But I want to ask you a question: How can one be saved if they don't come as they come as they are? I am a born again believer, I try to be careful how I use the word Christian (or in other terms Christ-like). I must say I was caught off guard with the Snoop Dogg ‘gospel’ album, just like I was with Nicki Minaj ‘gospel’ song. Not saying that they’re not worthy of worshipping the Lord or using their talents to praise Him. I don’t know their heart or their motive. But I pray to the Lord that their hearts and souls are true, because so much power lies in our tongue. I try so hard to not only follow His commandments, but to also follow His teaching and His way. 1 of which is “Let he who is without sin cast the first stone.” And I don’t know about you all, but I’m not without sin. Truth be told, NO ONE is- except children (and even after a certain age they’re accountable for their own sin). Yes, I know that it’s true that the Bible says “come as you are”. But if you never go, then how will you change/transform from old self to new self and be born again. Christianity or believing in Christ Jesus is not 1 of the frozen dinners you pick up at your local grocery store. Nor is it like when people dress up in work out gear from head to toe and watch everyone else work out. We as believers (for the few or many that is) is living in very troubling and trying times right now. Let’s be honest for a second, the gospel album is 1 of many of our problems right now. And if we’re not prepared or actually willing to make a change, then it does “us” as a whole no good. It seems like there’s not many real Christians around anymore. Before anyone become offended please keep reading, take a look around your neighborhood, city, state, nation, even other parts of the world. If your neighborhood is full of hungry or homeless people, or gang violence, child molesters, “same sex marriage” and you don’t try to do anything or care to help change your city or state, then you may be one of the ones I was speaking on not being a real follower of Christ. If you try to find reasons or ways to get out of tithing, or follow a pastor that you know isn’t of the Lord, or judge someone by how ‘cute’, ‘ugly’, or ‘skimpy’ a person who comes into your church home looks, if you will pass by your enemy when they’re in need without so much as a second glance. More than likely I was very much referring the statement about real Christians to you. No I’m not sweeping Snoop Dogg ‘gospel’ album under the rug, because it is very much important, especially if it was not produced of God or with Jesus Christ anointing. But if you plan on only speaking about your concerns on social media and not do anything, then your faith without your works are dead. Sometimes the Lord allows things to happen to see how we will respond, that’s our test. If we respond in a way pleasing to His sights, not man’s- then He will turn our test into a testimony. And yes there are things that we as Christians can do if we really want change and I’m referring to the album and anything else for that matter, but it starts with taking a stand for Christ. I don’t have much to say about the album because I was always taught that you don’t have to go to church to be saved, that you can accept the Lord Jesus at anyplace, at anytime, and that you go to church to worship, fellowship, and grow closer in your walk with Jesus. Now if a person came up to me claiming that they accepted the Lord while they was out clubbing last night, then I would be very skeptical, but at the same time it isn’t my place to judge. That’s why I ask the Lord to bless me with a discerning spirit. As far as supporting or even listening to the album, I will have to do some serious praying, talking, and LISTENING to the Lord, I suggest that my fellow Christian brothers and sisters do the same. And please keep in mind that the Lord can and will use anyone to do His works, He’s used a nonbeliever before, what makes it so impossible now? Besides if we were to be truly honest, there’s a lot of Christians running from what the Lord is calling on them to do. Be blessed.

I think the church should be a refuge for any persons no matter what their background is. You alluded to this early in the video by God so loved the WORLD. that includes everyone. not that the church is perfect (God knows it's not) but because as some of us were once alienated from God. We all were saved from something. The church thrives off of "once were" the same grace we received is the same grace we should be willing to give. How do we know that this man has not already repented and given his life to Christ? Why are we making assumptions? I remember when I used to play in the church band we had to be ON TIME be there for prayer, had to be a faithful member. Everybody who comes to the church is, first unequally yoked, until they give their lives to Christ. But, how can they if they are being run away from the church before having opportunity to be ministered to, saved, join church, etc? People come to the church all the time with all kinds of gifts and talents; and, we welcome them in. People are acting fearful because this is Snoop Dog. His soul needs saving just as anybody else's does; and, we must consider that, first and foremost.

I remembered praying for snoop and Minaj and others that God would turn them around for his glory. The problem is you can't sing or rap your way into heaven. All have to obey Acts 2:38 the same way they came when the church got started. The Jews, Gentiles, and Samaritans all came the same way. The thing is did the gospel artist out there already obeyed Acts 2:38 and got saved the right way. Many believe all you have to do is just say I believe and you are saved. That is nowhere in the Bible. I think according to the scriptures they should obey Acts 2:38 and learn of the ways of the Lord first. Nobody is going to sing or rap your way into heaven without obeying John 3;5, Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. I know what about the man on the cross many say? He lived under a different age. There was no church at that time. But, let's also be careful not to run him away from the church if, perhaps, God may be allowing this to be his last opportunity to turn his life around. Now, is the time for the Church to demonstrate it's authenticity as well. Are we praying for the people, who are trying to return to God? Or, are we being so suspicious that we will turn people away; and, they end up falling by the wayside and losing their souls due to our fear of them. We should be strengthening ourselves as well as them. Prayer is needed very much for such a time as this.
If someone took a video of me urinating in my pamper, when I was a toddler; and, guaging my present behavior/desire to come to Jesus, by that video, I would never be allowed into the Kingdom of God either. Just to tell you a small part of my testimony, before I was saved, when I was talking to God about my sin and situation. He was telling me and showing me my ways and how it hurts and that he was jealous. I finally picked up a Bible and the first book He brought me to was the book of Ezekiel (Ezekiel 8) and just like he pulled Ezekiel by the hair to show the idol worship of the people God was pulling my stubborn self by the hair. As I read I began to understand God's pain and character. He was telling me what I and we as a people do to him. I cried and was convicted, and shortly thereafter gave my life to Christ. I repented for days and days, crying asking for forgiveness for all my sins and rebellion against God. One prayer i prayed often is for god to show and tell me about what the truth as behind what we as a people do? His answer was I will tell the truth but be ready you are not going to like any of it. That is when I began to learn that most of what our culture has taught us are LIES.

Anyone who is truly a believer in Christ would never take him seriously.
Whether he is serious or not, he still deserve to return to church; and, to sing gospel music if he desires to. If it is God's divine Will for Snoop to sing gospel music, God will allow it; and, God will not be mocked; but, will allow Snoop's heart to be where it should be, if he is singing His Word; Because there is Power In The Name of Jesus; And, In God's Music.
I'm conservative. I don't acknowledge lukewarm individuals that come in an out, use the Church system at the end of ones career! Our Lord Himself, says He'll spit or vomit you out, if you come lukewarm! Meaning, you're either in or out! You'll know who I'm conveying this message directly towards! They things you don't play with. Specifically, Christ an His Church (The Mystical Body Of Christ). An extension of God or Jesus Christ on earth! This is a very, very, very serious position! It's not an act or joking matter! Humans souls are at stake!

Our job as saints of God is to walk in the Word; praying for one another; and, praying for Snoop Dog; and, anybody else, new to the Church; rather than trying to run from and push them away from the Church.

Have God's people forgotten that spirits of wickedness write songs and play melodies? The demons desire worship! The prophets are singing, 'Jesus' and using God's name, but it's not him, it's Baal! They offer sacrifices to demons and not to God (Deuteronomy 32).
Most of gospel music now have secular roots so I don't see the problem. Don't confuse gospel entertainment with the church. I know it's merged these days and that's why I'm not in the church.

This church building is for everyone. The lost and the believers. Remember, we are the church. Your life will draw people to Christ. Some of us are confused about our assignment. We are called to draw people to Christ, not away. I don't think God is pleased with this video.
