Nice build! As you were assembling the pvc for the dust collection, I was thinking “I would have painted it black”. And then that is exactly what you did! This is definitely going on my list of projects I need to do this year. Thank you for your videos.
I've been watching a few of your videos, and so far I must say I enjoy the functionality and overall design of your shop and builds... thanks for all the helpful information. Jay.
That is a mean looking workstation. It got my creative juices flowing. I don't have a tabletop router like that one but I have the Skil SRT1039 bench top so I'd have to see how I would get mine to fit those planes unless I can detach the tabletop piece and mount on the cabinet. Great job sir!!! Also, YES, I would have painted to dust collection pipes also. Black or blue.
Norm started a revolution with his first router table. it has been copied, modified and improved too many times to count. This version is a top 5 for sure. Norm would be proud.
Awesome work, sir! Professional fit and finish in my opinion. I am planning on designing and building a small (8 ft.) work bench for my miter saw. Your video gave my many great idea. Yes, painting the piping made it look meaner and leaner. Very nice!
Mind blowing! I love how the side shape minimizes floor coverage but is secretly providing allowance for tubing without jeopardizing comfort for the user! Genius! I'm half way thru a build like this now but it's nothing to bring it in a bit! Thank you so much! I'm so happy I caught this build in time!
Awesome! Thank you for the comment. My goal was to provide the most effective work system with a small footprint and it has proven itself every time that I use it! Just used it last night and still LOVE IT! thanks and good luck to you!!
Looks awesome and very functional. Me personally, I would have used flush mount door/drawer hardware to reduce the risk of catching clothing on the pulls.
Very nice design and build.....the only thing I'd do is add a blast gate to the router table fence so that if you are doing something where the fence is not providing actual suction, like for anything buried in the piece, you can concentrate the suction in the router chamber....oh, and drill some holes in the front of the router chamber door to provide bothe intake and router motor cooling.....thanks for the great content.
This is a nice project and since I have the Kreg router table and the Foreman, I was contemplating doing such a project. So I’m glad you created the plans for it. The printed plans were a little confusing regarding adding the two horizontal dividers. Although I can pretty much extrapolate the distance, it would’ve been nice if the plans showed at what height you mounted the dividers. It also implies that the dividers were added before adding the top for the Foreman. But in the video, it looks like you added the Foreman top before adding the horizontal divider panels. That’s certainly the way I would do it as it gives you room to work. If you add the horizontal panels first it would be very difficult to get the top on using pocket screws. All in all, a really nice project. Thank you
Yep, I would paint the dust collection black at it looks awesome. My problem would have been that I didn't even think about painting it black. Good thinking!
Hell of a build! Painting the dust collection pipes was a good choice. I might have to buy the plans as I'm quickly running out of room in my tiny shop. Great video!
Thank you and thanks for watching! I agree, the paint makes them look WAY better. I thought about using ABS as well but I had most of the PVC already and only needed a couple of elbows. Is ABS cheaper than PVC? Thanks!
This is a great build. I love how it turned out. And yeah... painting all the dust collection black was a good call. That was a good call. Looks better. I have the Kreg router table so I don't see me making this particular set up... but I really like this. I learned from the build and it gave me ideas on what to do when I enclose... and trick out... my Kreg table. Thanks for sharing.
I built Norm Abrams router table about 20 years ago but was never happy with the dust collection. You have given me some ideas about making changes that should help. A think casters would help too as my shop is getting a bit crowded. But I think casters may make the top too high. Something else to think about. Good production. good narration and video. As mentioned by others, the music is a distraction. Look up the word "background" in the dictionary. Actually none at all would be better. I watched this video for it's educational value, not for entertainment. The education bit was great. Not so the entertainment. BTW first time viewer. Now I have to check out the rest of your videos. I clicked Thumbs Up, may subscribe.
Excellent setup. If I may make a suggestion about your door hardware, I find things constantly get caught on them. I used them in multiple projects for people (they chose them) and alway have the same issue. And yes, I would paint it, great call. Great build. 👍👍
@CReeves Makes - Thank you again for showing this part of the video . I am in the process of designing my own woodworking shop in my garage and I continue to change my mind between a Workbench with Casters or without. This video pretty much helps me!! Thank you!!
I didn’t see any grooves or means to keep the bit storage slides from tipping down when you pull out the slides or did I miss it? Any way awesome build. I’ve been using Kreg pocket hole jigs since 1999. Glad to see a craftsman use glue along with the screws. I always said the screws were mini clamps that forever remained in place. That’s how I could and would give a forever warranty on furniture and cabinetry. Very “Robust” craftsmanship ✌️😎
Another Excellent build from you, Well done. In answer to your question on painting the pipe, i would have done the same thing and in the black as well, as it matches up with all the Kreg stuff being Black and Blue. Well done again. Barry (ENG)
There is a paint product that is used to ground all the components and isolate noise inside of guitars. It is black as well as other colors. It is a little costly but just painting a stripe down the side with a screw at the end will give you an static electric shock stop when connected to a ground. I play an electric guitar and was getting shocked every time I played in my socks. My luthier fixed it with the paint inside of the component cutouts and on the back of the covers.
Very cool. I like the small clip of you pulling out all the rolling cabinets getting ready to start working. Any vids coming from that new Kreg cutting system?
Love it! Very well thought out. I like the black PVC but that weird side of me says that I would paint it KREG blue and put a couple of stickers on a few pieces with the KREG logo! No, bad idea! After the thousandth phone call KREG received trying to locate the piece, you might have lost their sponsorship! LOL
Great job. Thinking about something like this for my router table/table saw. Understand having things dual purpose and mobile. My shop is 160 Sq ft, so space is at a premium.
Nice video. I'm curious what you've modded on your cordless ridgid circular saw around 6:15. Aside from the Kreg track saw mount, it looks like maybe a couple items added for dust collection. Thanks for the video.

Great Video, pity about the Musak, very irritating, great commercial for Kreg ,they must love you. heres a query how much of Kregs stuff is made in China? just curious.
My name is James Ŕeeves , from Ontario, Canada do u have step by step plans just curious l have relatives in the USA i have never metmis your family from Ireland or Scotland thanks
Really nice build but after all the effort of matching the grain on the draw fronts and doors why screw the electrical plate from the outside? Having those three screws visible would drive me crazy!
I know what you mean but it doesn’t bother me as bad as I thought it would. I may be adding stuff to the table and wanted easy access to that area. Maybe I should have put some more hinges there with a magnet catch? 🤔 now Ya got me thinking! Thanks for watching!
Great build which I will adapt for my requirements. Please can you advise where you purchased the slotted driver used in your drill to tighten the hose connectors and what it is called?
Hey thanks David! It’s actually just a socket bit out of my Milwaukee driver set. It just fits over the hex of the clamp. Way easier than flat blade bits! Thanks for watching and good luck!👍🏻
PLANS ARE LIVE ON WWW.BUILDSOMETHING>COM www.buildsomething.com/plans/PD6AE6BE9202FBB25/Mobile-Router-Table-Combo-Foreman
It would probably sell for 800 cabinet easy
I see you are an Orange and Blue shop!! That is a beautiful cabinet. Thank you
Yep! Good colors! Thanks for watching!
Yes spraypainting it black made it look much cleaner. Great build!
Thank you!
Thank you!
SICKK ASS JOB.. 39 People are hating that they can't build this masterpiece
Nice build! As you were assembling the pvc for the dust collection, I was thinking “I would have painted it black”. And then that is exactly what you did! This is definitely going on my list of projects I need to do this year. Thank you for your videos.
Thanks! I am very happy with the painted look. Much cleaner. Good luck!
Man, why did this video not come up when I was building my table? This is brilliant. Thanks for sharing!!
I've been watching a few of your videos, and so far I must say I enjoy the functionality and overall design of your shop and builds... thanks for all the helpful information. Jay.
Thanks Jay I really appreciate it! You’re very welcome and thanks for watching!

This one is for sale!
Awesome router station. Just watched it for the second time.
Pretty awesome project brother. I agree with the choice of using glue. It’s just adds the rigidity needed for a project of this size. Again, nice work
Thanks Chris! Yeah I glue a LOT of stuff. Haven’t had to take anything apart yet knock on wood! 👍🏻🤞🏻
Now if watched this build twice, amazing job Kreg stuff looks good. Slowly starting my collection.
Thank you!
Norm started a revolution with his first router table. it has been copied, modified and improved too many times to count. This version is a top 5 for sure. Norm would be proud.
Why thank you very much! I am honored to have such a nice comment on this table. Thanks! 👍🏻
Recently just added the Kreg Forman to my small shop. Will need to create something similar. Thanks for sharing appreciate it the video!
Congratulations on the new toy and thank you very much! Good luck and have fun!
a really nice project and the dust collection painted pvc was an excellent choice
Thanks Trent! Yeah I am loving the way the piping looks.
The pipes look so much better black. Nice job
I agree! So glad that I painted them! Thanks!
Nice job on the mobile router table Friend! Thanks for sharing the video with us.👍😎JP
Thanks JP! Happy to share all of my builds with the community! I was inspired so hopefully I can pass it on! 👍🏻
😎
Painting the white PVC pipe was a good decision 👍🏼
I love this concept. I suggest adding a storage board to the base of your bit storage drawers, predrilled with 1/4 and 1/2 holes for the collets.
I actually just did that using the Rockler inserts! Thanks for watching!
I have never seen that great little rigid screw driver I need one !!!
It is great! I love using it for assembling projects.
came out great
Thanks Steve!

very cool,, you did a great job,,, you have inspired me to re-do a couple carts in my shop to make more room
Oh awesome! I am glad that you got inspired to update some stuff! Good luck!
Excellent project, really looks user friendly and will last you a long time. Thanks for sharing..
Thank you J LF! Yes it is very fun and easy to use. Thank you for watching!
Another great build Casey! Killed it!
Thank you very much John! I appreciate that!
Go Big or Go Home! Nice build as always.
Thanks Jose! That is a great tip for the fence! I actually left 1/8” gaps on the top of the front door for suction.

That’s looks great, starting my wife out with her own shop I’m always looking for great ideas. Thanks.
Awesome! Thanks!👏🏻
Wow very nice set up. Would love to have one. Looking over plans for a router table and I run across this. I hit the jackpot!
Great job of explaining your process, I also like and use Kreg tools, an outstanding company, most products are USA made also.
Thanks JD! I agree and love Kreg products. I will be doing a factor tour there this June! A LOT of their stuff is made in Iowa! 👍🏻👍🏻
Black And yellow on the piping. Lol.
awesome build!!! I'm in the need for something just like this. I love how the grain continues and flows across everything!!!
Thank you MNW! Plans will be up soon I hope. The grain was a challenge with the cut list but it worked!
That was an amazing build my Freind. I loved it it . I also kept seing how you made your work bench and You got me thing of re doing mine.
Thank you very much Frank!
Great build. Very versatile
Thank you very much! I use it more than I expected and it’s great! 👍🏻
Hola buena tarde , que lujo , un espectaculo muy bueno me encanta ver tan prolijo trabajo ... Mil felicitaciones y saludos desde Argentina ...
Nice clean build .
Great build! Thanks for the details - especially on dust collection!
Thank you very much! The dust collection was my favorite part!
Very cool. Thanks for posting.
Thank you Jeff!
Casey, great job man. This makes me want to redo my router table. Great job!
looks real good. I like the black.
Thanks, me too! Although, sawdust brown may have been a better choice lol!
Hell of a build! Painting the dust collection pipes was a good choice. I might have to buy the plans as I'm quickly running out of room in my tiny shop. Great video!
Thanks a lot Mike! The plans are FREE! Get buildin buddy! 👍🏻👍🏻
Good looking project, great video
Thank you very much! It was a challenging build and a lot of it was on the fly! It turned out better than I expected!
CR I really like your mobile shop asset I have a small space shop.
Awesome build! Thanks for sharing. the pipes 100% look better painted, in the future you could try ABS instead of PVC
Thank you and thanks for watching! I agree, the paint makes them look WAY better. I thought about using ABS as well but I had most of the PVC already and only needed a couple of elbows. Is ABS cheaper than PVC? Thanks!
Time for a shop tour!
When the weather gets nice! 👍🏻👍🏻
WOW, I love what I already have of Kreg tools but dude do you have the hookup! Very nice!
They sponsored this build and the free plans are on their website at www.buildsomething.com
Great job on it. I had to go with flip top table to fit more Equipment in my small shop...
Thanks! Yeah, we all have our own unique needs in our spaces. I have a flip top as well and its perfect for what I need in that area.
nice work!
Thank you very much!
You’ve a fantastic workshop & an incredible video delivery style, top work 🍻👍👍👍👍

Nice well thought out build.
Thanks Brad! 👍🏻👊🏻
Dude I would buy this from you decided to sell it ready-made. Such a nice job. It would take me weeks to finish this build.
good job . thak you i like it.
I'm glad you like it Thanks!
Excellent setup. If I may make a suggestion about your door hardware, I find things constantly get caught on them. I used them in multiple projects for people (they chose them) and alway have the same issue. And yes, I would paint it, great call. Great build. 👍👍
Yeah I get what ya mean about the hardware. I haven’t had an issue yet but I can see it happening. Thanks for the tip!
Hands down that is the longest commercial for kreg I've ever seen.
Lol, but that router table though 😏
Lol, but that router table though 😏

Ha! My TS3650 has the same "oops" mark! Great build!
Right of passage it seems! LOL
love the tools you have and the skills
Thank you very very much Jao!
Everyone knows painted pipes work better than not painted pipes and it looks better.
I agree Jared! Looks much better and more "finished"! Thanks for watching!
Yes I would have painted the PVC it adds to your over all scheme
Great looking build Casey! 1,000% better than that bathroom vanity you were going to use. That foreman looks awesome by the way!
LOL I agree! Thank you very much!
@CReeves Makes - Thank you again for showing this part of the video . I am in the process of designing my own woodworking shop in my garage and I continue to change my mind between a Workbench with Casters or without. This video pretty much helps me!! Thank you!!
Great Job 👍🏼 you have a new Subscriber! We may have to add some of these features to our new router table too! 😁🤙🏽😁🤙🏽
Awesome thank you so much! Glad you like it
Nice build Casey
Thanks Steve! 👍🏻
Nice job I loved it
Thanks! Its a great addition to the shop! 👍🏻
Holy safety gear!
That looks awesome! Best one I've seen. Great job explaining everything too. I like the PVC painted black. I'm a new subscriber :)
AWESOME! Thank you very much Tracie!

That’s how I could and would give a forever warranty on furniture and cabinetry. Very “Robust” craftsmanship ✌️😎
I added in some simple hardwood cleats to hold the storage slides in. Works well for now. 👍🏻
Another Excellent build from you, Well done.
In answer to your question on painting the pipe, i would have done the same thing and in the black as well, as it matches up with all the Kreg stuff being Black and Blue.
Well done again.
Barry (ENG)
Thank you very much Barry! Yeah the black does a good job of blending everything in. Thanks!

Ripper job!!!
Thank you Rob!
Great video as always. I would of painted the elbows of the DC system blue and the rest black
I thought about blue at first. I had black in the cabinet thought so it won!
Very cool. I like the small clip of you pulling out all the rolling cabinets getting ready to start working. Any vids coming from that new Kreg cutting system?
Thanks! That was a fun little add in. Yes I am working on a video with the ACS now!
Love it! Very well thought out. I like the black PVC but that weird side of me says that I would paint it KREG blue and put a couple of stickers on a few pieces with the KREG logo! No, bad idea! After the thousandth phone call KREG received trying to locate the piece, you might have lost their sponsorship! LOL
Lol! I thought about blue but I was afraid it would be hard to match so I went the easy route! Thanks for watching!

Thank you and good luck to you!
Before this video I could have sworn "Kregwhore" wasn't a word in English. Boy was I wrong.
😂, sounds German! I’m more of a tool whore. There are brand pockets around my shop. Ridgid, Kreg, Bessey, Rockler etc
Top of the line
Thank you very much
good job man
Thank you! 👍🏻
holy blade height batman! 😳
Yeah, its sketchy but its only for that close corner cut. Every cut I make aside from that is a tooth above the material. Thanks!
Great build! I noticed you had dust collection on your circular saw. What are you using?
Nice video. I'm curious what you've modded on your cordless ridgid circular saw around 6:15. Aside from the Kreg track saw mount, it looks like maybe a couple items added for dust collection. Thanks for the video.
Its a customized Ridgid circular saw. I glued a shop vac nozzle to it and added side shields to see if I could make it dust free.
Looking at the steps in the plan you cut 2 large pieces of plywood to be spacers to install the shelves at the same height.. Do you know the height of these spacers? I want to be sure to mount it all the same height as your because i'm going straight by your plans... Thanks for all the help
Hey David! The spacer height is 6-1/4” for the shelves. Thanks and good luck!
Great Video, pity about the Musak, very irritating, great commercial for Kreg ,they must love you. heres a query how much of Kregs stuff is made in China? just curious.
Hi I saw that you had dust collection on your circular saw. what are you using???
Kreg needs to produce a solid 15 amp production router for their tables since Porter Cable is no longer interested in that market.
My name is James Ŕeeves , from Ontario, Canada do u have step by step plans just curious l have relatives in the USA i have never metmis your family from Ireland or Scotland thanks
nice job need to build cabinet for my shop but i only have a k4 jig
Sponsored by Kreg and Rigid
Sponsored by Kreg and I am an ambassador for Ridgid 👍🏻
That Ridgit Palm drill. You have a model#? Love to get one..
It’s the R8224 you can find it in some Home Depot’s still but I think it’s obsolete now which is sad. It’s an awesome little tool
What is the tool you are using at the 4:33 mark. I can not find it anywhere on Rigid's website
CReeves Makes many thanks. Obvious now I've rewatched it! I will replace the slotted screw heads with bolts.
