    The CIE 121 Class is my fav Irish diesel, i just like its unique look

    Waterford station has been decimated. Waterford to Rosslare, that used to have a more frequent service than the Waterford to Limerick Junction section, is now no more. These lovely loud locos, especially the 071s, sadly missed on passenger turns hauling Mark 3s with plug-fit doors. I remember Rosslare Harbour Pier !! And Dublin to Rosslare with A Class 001s !!

    Amazing video!!!! It’s amazing how much variety there used to be! It’s sad to see generic 22000 operating every route.

      22000 class don't even look like trains they remind me of the LUAS trams in Dublin

      @@midlandcompound my God did they really close it? The goverments real first blow to rural Ireland was when they closed the small railway stations, then they stopped taking cargo from them which killed sugar beet farmers around me.

      It's only a shadow of itself. The railway company has only itself to blame in driving business away.
