Seedling peach is amazing. Good to see some variety of genetics. I have love hate feelings towards varieties and grafting because it stagnates the genetic pool of fruit trees and reduces variation in fruit. You’re stuck with just a dozen or so main fruit varieties. Most of the time I think would rather have every fruit taste different than the last. Not hating on grafting because it provides some massive advantages but there’s nothing like the taste some of the old seed grown apples you find in an old orchard that’s overgrown hidden in brush. I just wish more people could taste it.
Nick, are you hand pollinating your peaches in the greenhouse? I have a couple trees blooming already here (just south of you, out in the islands) and wonder if I should be out there with my paintbrush.
Great stuff, Nick.
The great thing about compost inside of a greenhouse is that the PNW rains won't wash all the nutrients away.

summer delight aprium. I put one last year and it blooms in mid march (now). Hope it sets fruit.
