Nice vid, but I would've liked if the interviewer got in more relevant questions for new mechanical aspects that we (as in, people who played the other DAs) don't know yet and are curious to find out, and didn't focus so much on stuff which are basic default mechanics on other Dragon Age games that we already knew were present. "What does Taunt mean?"...really?
It will be good for warming up before the release of the Witcher 3, I'm not saying it is bad, the graphics are great and the gameplay has improved a lot, But the Witcher 3 is Skyrim-size RPG game!!! Really can't wait for it
I hope this was played on EASY. It looked TOO EASY. No challenge... I hope the game is not dumb down to be EASY. I had to put the difficulty on Nightmare, in DAO and I found that game a bit easy. I used a classic MMO party setup: 1 tank (Alistar), 1 healer (Morrigan or Wynne) and 2 DPS (I liked having Leliana as range).
So this game has just caught my eye and I´ve gotta say that I´m really excited for it. One question though: Can I buy this without having played the other DA games and still have a good time?

Funny thing is a hand a half sword weighs around 2lbs, 2 handed long sword about 3 lbs and a Claymore about 3-31/2lbs. To give you a reference a katana weighs around 3lbs. (the real swords), people always think theyre like clubs and unwieldy.

This doesn't seem entirely "open world" either that or i'm not understanding that aspect; so you always have to go to that inquisition map before going to a closed zone with "open elements" ? or could you just say eff it and start hiking across the entire continent? Cause my favorite/ most boring/ most random/ most exciting runs (all at once ) were the ones I didn't use cars/horses nor fast travel and just walked around (obviously in open world games like the TES series)

well I have perfected origins 2 times with all the DLC but i'm still in year 2 of the second game with all DLC and I can't get myself to beat it because it sucks. Is the story of any importance? I know how it ends but i'm getting tired of the templars vs mages bullshit.

Goddamn the Frostbite engine looks great here! When they first announced that DA 3 was going to use frostbite I just pictured a dull looking game that was made in a year. Now I think it's safe to say that FB can do other worthwhile things than Battlefield.
I like how you can control characters directly in combat, but doesn't this leave the player at a huge tactical disadvantage? Will the AI in my party be good enough to let me play this like a fantasy Mass Effect?

Well I really didn't want anything to do with this game because I felt the second one was such a let down, the first one was absolutely amazing... watching this video I can honestly say it looks better than the first one. I will definitely buy this game!
One thing BioWare does really well is walking animations. That's an important thing to me lol. I liked in Mass Effect how it changed when you were going either up or down stairs. Great attention to detail. I like the animations in this too.

This game gets better with each new game play footage. One thing though, the way that the female inquisitor sways when walking looks as if the armor she's wearing is soft and comfy as sht rolf, i need to get my clothes made out of those materials :P

Will the combat be similar to the original dragon age, where if you were a melee type the game auto attacks for you whilst you are only in control of more advanced attacks or is the combat real time?

I hope you can keep your helmet on during conversation and cutscenes in Inquisition. I mean if I had a cool looking helmet, then I'd like to have the option to see it. Because if I remember correctly, Dragon Age 2 just forced you to have your helmet off when you were in a cutscene or in dialogue.

Seeing these huge RPGs running on 'next-gen' hardware, mainly this and the witcher, makes me soo excited for the the next Elder Scrolls

As far as i can remember, you had the option to turn it off in the settings.
Facial modeling needs a lot of work. I hope this is far from final because they are way too smooth and undetailed.
