the oculus actually has a slightly clearer screen for reading text so i believe it to be better than the vive :D for elite at least. Vive has better steam support

this kind of voice pack should be use on only big ships, doesn't make sense that this little asp would need a huge crew.
I dunno. Makes space feel a bit less lonely since E:D is so quiet right now.

This is exactly what Elite needs, missions with voice acting and interactions with NPC's to bring things to life, the mission system they have now is horrible and there's no real incentive to take them. If they took some time to build missions that were unique, fun, and worth my time, I would never play any other game.
Tell me the Brian Blessed pack works like this, I want him yelling at the others.

That's ok. The singularity profile is free with all packs so you should have v1 already. It works with only one pack too, just not the crew roster part obviously.

I have four packs and I have yet to receive near the amount of interaction and chit chat that your videos show. Either you're pulling bullshit out of nowhere to create good videos or the packs are some how broken
Admiral The packs are not broken. Are you using the Singularity Beta? You should join our Discord channel, where you'll see how it's being used.

It is not up to them, I'm sure if they were permitted to do so, they would, Microsoft and Sony will not permit it, they have an aversion to third party tools on their consoles.
Serious question. I thought Voice Pack allowed you to set destinations by voice. This video says "Customize your most frequent destinations. Your virtual assistant will do the rest." How do you "Customize" it?
Also, I bought Eden yet my voice pack did not come with commodity descriptions even though it uses Singularity. Did you stop because it's not that important or just fail to tells us what we don't get with our pack?
You can add a system to favourites (in the Voiceattack profile) and have some preset voice commands for them. .you can even "Add this system to bookmarks"

When was the last time Eden was updated? I haven't received a download email in ages upon ages...
While I love voice attack with the voice packs... they don't tell you that you will spend hours looking for command response sound files and programming what you say to get the correct response and key presses in game.
Its cool and all but doesn't work all the time either. You will have repeat commands a lot and sometimes it simply won't work.
You will have to train windows voice command a lot to get it to work at all.
I own it but don't bother using it anymore because it can get you killed in a fire fight.

I have an i7-4790 with 16 GB of RAM and a GTX 980 with the Vive. Works fine (though I haven't played ED in some time, so I'm assuming they haven't updated the game to make it more graphically intensive than it was six months ago).
I have a question. Is there an difference between orion and A.S.T.R.A. except the voice? Cause I loce Orion but also A.S.T.R.A. and I dont know which one I should buy. Thanks for answers :)
id love to see some military themed voices like if you had a proper AI with you like in halo or irons mans jarvis, it would make voice attack running outside of the games cool too
While this is really scripted honestly the voice packs are worth it they dont cost much it adds to the game almost as if its meant to be part of it i have good days and bad days with it sometimes it hears me sometimes it doesnt but i thinks thats more my mic quality and surrounding noises and i cant be bothered to get into the nitty gritty with adjusting sounds but its deff worth it u add a voicepack change up your hud and if u have a good imagination its awesome for the basic user its really a quality of life thing at the end of the day elite is still a grind and after saying engage warp drive a million times its still elite and if you didnt like the game this wont make u like it more but it sure is cool to watch and see what the future holds when star citizen ever gets done and you can really get into the ships systems with this
Awesome, just press, a, b, x, w, t, hold shift, engage thermo-flange, set turbo nubbs to zeboid, hit stabiliser control mark 7 on the cook back to zero, zero 20, unlock the delta musk when the clock hits the zenith to start game!

@@hcsvoicepacks So cool. I played Elite on C64. Nothing like it back then. I'm upgrading my PC and will buy the new Elite Pack when done. The amount of possible key bindings is nuts. Plus all the info. This is not only adding more realism in the game (should be part of the base software from Frontier) but it simplifies so many mondain and constantly used functions so you don't have to memorize every key to open say navigation.
This and Voice Attack have done a great job. Reminds me of Mass Effect. 👍😊

Less speed than I'd normally fly, so that new players (that are often forgotten) can see the real beauty and detail in the game. Oh, and read stuff ;)
