I’m looking at getting these, as despite having some very tall snag bars I’ve only got so much faith in my slimmer shimano rods staying in the butt rests. These seemed like a universal system suitable for every rod ever made hence my choosing them. Thanks for doing the review. You know they’re bloody strong magnets when they start rotating even when they’re nowhere near each other 😂

Well thaught out Exalent bit of Kit if your a pike Angler in the Winter winds along side the S9 Bite Alarms and Ears ,
Would Highley Recommend them But Grips ,

Morning....got a set of a these few weeks ago and well impressed but I think the 'o' ring that comes with it is a further option to use to hold the rod in place in addition to the bulkier adjustable strap depending on the size of the butt of your rod ??

Hi Gary, thanks for your comment and I agree, the 'O' rings are another method for fixing the rod to the magnetic butt rest.
