- I often get the question, should I buy an iPad or a Mac slash other laptop. And every time I usually give the same rundown. Look at what apps you need to use and if there are any that don’t work on the iPad, buy another laptop and consider an iPad as a secondary machine. However, iPadOS keeps getting closer and closer to a Mac experience so I figured I would give it a shot for one day by replacing my MacBook Pro with an iPad Air. Here’s how it went.

I've been choosing between an iPad and Mac for a while and this video popped up in my feed. Just at the right time. Your video was very helpful thanks for sharing!
You’re missing the Magic Keyboard! Makes all the difference
I may try to pick a used one up on ebay! The new price for those is nuts though...$350 😫
@@techdevicenews Logitech combo touch is better, magic keyboard doesn't offer much protection and the keyboard isn't detachable
try using magic keyboard... its all way different and try also davinci resolve for ipad :)
I think the windowing, mouse pointer, and file structure reeeeeeeeealy hold the iPad back. Snazzy labs did a really good video on how frustrating windowing is and I couldn’t agree more because I gave up even trying to use 2 things at once on my m2 iPad Pro. It’s a RUclips, Crunchyroll, Goodnotes machine almost exclusively. Even web brow is sub par compared to a traditional computer. I’d buy another one but unless Apple makes massive changes in what they all this wildly overpowered device to do I think I’ll go with the new large screen non pro version next time because it will ultimately be relegated to a digital notebook for me
That's my thoughts too, I can't justify buying the fancier and more powerful iPad if it can't do my basic multitasking while web browsing with ease.
@@techdevicenews literally the only reason I bought the pro version for my last 2 iPads was the bigger screen.
first 😍
I'm second!
