About Married to Medicine:

I’m not sure where you live however, high school girls get their nails done, wear makeup and stylish hairstyles. On camera they are going to apply makeup more heavily than if they weren’t being filmed, so as to not look washed out on camera. There is nothing strange or wrong with how Alaura looks. She’s a 17 year old girl! If you have a problem with your daughters doing that, that’s your prerogative just like it’s Heavenly and Damon’s prerogative to let their daughter wear makeup. In my family, starting with my mom and her sisters, they were allowed to wear makeup when they got into high school. My mother allowed me to do the same thing along with getting my nails and hair done on a regular basis. As I got older I was afforded more privileges because of my age and how responsible I was. I did the same when my daughter entered high school. It’s my prerogative. Your personal feelings are yours however, if you step into any high school you’ll see tons of girls wearing makeup and nails.
Alaura is a beautiful young lady with or without makeup but if she chooses to wear it and her parents are okay with it no one should have anything to say. Let parents raise their kids how they choose to raise them.
