Omg, those kitties are so stinking cute, we are a cat loving household here. Your pillow finishes came out so awesome, love you made your own trim and put some special embroidery on it too.
Genius idea using crocheted trim with a smaller hook! I tried this once before, using a hook suitable for the yarn but didn’t like the result. I will definitely try a smaller hook. Thank you for showing the kittens…too adorable for words. I’d want to keep them all! 😸😸😸
Sheila, what a good idea to create your own trim! We should use what we have, shouldn’t we? You are a very creative person. It is such pleasure to visit with you. I love your enthusiasm for new projects and your desire to stitch more and more! And kittens! They are the cutest. We live in the country and we have many outdoor cats and 3 indoor cats….sometimes 4. I hope we are at an end of kittens, though they are such fun to watch. We’ve gone through many trapping sessions to neuter our cats so we don’t have ‘millions of cats’ as the old children’s book said! Take care. See you next time. Carol in Texas
Love the Bicycle Date finish, the hearts on the back are lovely, wonderful idea, congratulations on the finish, I did the Halloween design many years ago, it is a beauty, congratulations on the start, 46 count is easy with a magnifier, love the color fabric, so pretty. Those are cute little ort box's, love the snowman deign, for being a new stitcher you are jumping in feet first that is the way to do so, I did the same thing way back in the early 70s. Nice progress on the Barbara Anna design, Love Pretty Polly, Shiela: you have so many lovely works in progress. Oh so much fun new stash, it is a shame that StitchVille is closing, we will miss Deb and her kindness. Oh, my they are so adorable; I do wish I knew how to crochet. Your baby's are adorable, thank-you for sharing, their markings are beautiful, thank-you for the critter cameo.
I COMPLETELY enjoy your Flosstubes my friend !!! You are such a sweetheart ❤️❤️❤️ what is the name of your Hello Spring Pillow ….. the little gardening tools are adorable 🥰
Lololol maybe I found my calling crocheting chains for trim 😂😂 that's all I can do is crochet a loooooooooong single chain anyway, no matter how hard I've tried. It's such a great idea and your pillows turned out amazing!!! Omg the kittens!!!!! 😻😻😻 melts my heart they are ADORABLE!!!!!!!!!
Awww! Those kittens! So sweet! I love your idea to use crochet to trim your pillows! Simply brilliant! The Blue Flower is another one that I find is usually bigger and a lot more stitching than I expect...not that that will ever stop me from trying to make everything she comes out with! LOL Love your sampler finish! Best of luck in finding the perfect frame!
Yoo-hoo!!! Hello! Fellow central MN stitcher here :-) I took a 4 year break from stitching but am so happy to be back and I just binged your videos. You seem so sweet! I am so sad that Stitchville closed, I didn’t get a chance to make it for any of the final sales. It looks like you got some excellent stuff before they closed their doors 😢. Looking forward to seeing more of your content! I love to crochet too, so it is fun to see a like hearted crafter, creating!!! I’m taking notes while you chat ❤
Beautiful finishes! Love how you used the crochet for finishing trim. It's perfect! Cute kitties. My mom's favorite flower was the yellow rose too. She would get a lot of yellow rose things and put them here and there. Two of my kids have Oct bdays. My other one would too but she decided to come 6 weeks early and get a head start. Happy stitching. I look forward to seeing your progress on your beautiful projects.
I love the crochet you did around the pillows! It looks awesome! Maybe sometime you could give us a tutorial on how you did it! Loved your video and your kittens...tfs
Wow!!! You got a lot of stitching in!!!! Great finishes too! I’m so glad you came and joined our stitching group. It was so nice to finally meet you. When we meet, our stitching time always goes by so fast. Enjoy your goodies🥰
So enjoyable! I lived at rural Hutchinson and am very familiar with the Crow River area. I am now 80, living in the southwest part of the MN state and still pulling from my stash from Stitch-Ville. I had purchased 2 yards of the 3" banding to stitch and finally this year, I found a great pattern to work with it. Happy farming and stitching. BTW - kittens are so easy to love.
You have done a lot of beautiful stitching! I love everything. It was fun to see you again. Your haul was very nice. It's great that you can crochet, too. The bunnies were so sweet. I love your kittens, what pretty markings on them. Cats are my babies, I have 4. Can't wait to see you again, soon.
Hi Sheila. It's actually "there's no crying in baseball" and a "three hour tour. Ha Ha!! We had a cat years ago that was black and white and his name was Cuddles. Love all that you do our new First Lady of Cross Stitch!! 😬😬😬
OMG, those babies are adorable! It's funny, my Mama cat and my dog, who thinks she's a mama cat, both came running. They thought I had babies on my lap. Lol
I enjoyed watching your video and thank you for sharing your stitching and all your wonderful happy stories. Your little kittens are so adorable 🥰 Have a lovely week and I’m looking forward to seeing you soon.
I love your projects but you had me at, "Meow"! Seeing the kittens made my day and my 18 lb. Russian Blue, Capt. Jack Sparrow jumped up on the TV stand to get a closer view. Cats, Stitching and Crochet...what more could anyone want? Such little darlings! Loved seeing them!
I was the one that said hi by the register and then ran into you again at Hobby Lobby. I am so enjoying your videos. Glad you had fun with your new stitch group!
So enjoy your floss tube channel and seeing all your wonderful stitching and crochet projects. I will have to find the bunny patterns - they are sweet. The kittens are just adorable- such sweet faces! Look forward to seeing your new videos pop up. Thank you as always for sharing your time and talents.
The kitties are so cute, my cats were searching for the meows 😂. You really need to start some SALs since at this point I need to stitch some of the same :) Congratulations again on your beautiful finish. Happy Stitching!
I always enjoy your Flosstube. Your stitching in beautiful. I love your finished pillows with the crocheted trim. What a creative idea! Just as a reminder the Nora Corbett came from Herrschner's. I believe that is what you were thinking. I live in Wisconsin about 2 hours from the warehouse. I think your Amigurumi animals are so cute and your kittens are adorable. I am allergic to kitties but I can still appreciate them from afar. I really enjoy so many of the saying you use. You really are a joy!!!
You're so very enjoyable to watch. Love your stitch choices, your work is so beautiful I'm an animal lover as well. Your baby kittens are just adorable!!! I just want to squish their cute little faces ❤
Beading needles have been recommended for the higher counts. I like Sullivans, Easy Guide ball tip needle you get two and a pack. They are kind of pricey but wonderful.
You need to look for trims that are 100% cotton. Any trims that have polyester, rayon etc. are not going to take the dyes. I have tea/coffee dyed some white trims that are polyester that did dirty it up some, but not heavily colored. The kittens are so cute. We haven’t had a cat for many years.
Beautiful Teresa Kogut finish. I started Serenity for Mother’s Day. I love Elise Rose’s channel and her free patterns. I want to make the bunnies too. Which brand and type of yarn did you use? They came out adorable
I love serenity❤️ I used patons wool worsted weight. I really liked that for amigurumi, but can be a little more expensive so always using those Joann coupons😂 I think I also mixed in premiere basix for the brighter colors
Mom story I s funny! Mine used to our hair is pony tails so tight felt like it stretched ours eyes side ways! I’m working on All Creatures Great & Small also! Doing the border & some of the middle at the same time also!!
Size 10 or 12 tapestry beading needle is the next smallest. If you get John james brand they will be called ballpoint beading needles. There is no ball. just British vs US terminology. Ballpoint=tapestry. JJ's are easily available in the US. For the 46 ct I use size 10. Over 50 and you will want size 12. Eyes on beading needles are much smaller though.
Loved your video. I have a suggestion. When you show your charts could you read the words on them please. It would help me decide if l want to do it myself. Thanks and see you soon.
Omg, those kitties are so stinking cute, we are a cat loving household here. Your pillow finishes came out so awesome, love you made your own trim and put some special embroidery on it too.

I love your pillows. I really like the crochet trim. The kittens were a cute bonus.
Thank you! 😊

It is hard not to keep them all😜

Cats can multiply quickly! We also have 2 indoor spayed cats that don’t go outside. The barns cats keep the farm rat free! 😺
Genius with the crocheted yarn chains for finishing the pillows…I love it! Sweet story about Beauty Fades…lovely memories. :)
Thank you so much!😍

Thank you🥰
OMG, those babies are adorable! It's funny, my Mama cat and my dog, who thinks she's a mama cat, both came running. They thought I had babies on my lap. Lol
Hope they weren’t too disappointed when they found your lap empty😜
@TheCrowRiverStitcher They didn't because they got cuddles. It was funny, though. My dog went as far as looking under the bed, thinking I hid them.
Too funny!
I love the pillow finish you did on the Soda Stitch design!
Thank you😍

Love your projects, crocheted trims, and those kittens! We may have to insist on a kitty update along with every Flosstube you record 😺❤
I’ll keep you guys posted😍
I recommended the yellow gingham. Glad you chose to go with it. It is so on point and really pretty with that design.
Thank you it turned out perfectly😍
Thank you for showing the Critter Cameo with the kittens! 😻😻😻
Our pleasure!😺😽
Thank you! Thank you!! I’ve been trying to come up with some ideas for trim! Love the way your crochet looks on your pillows.
You are so welcome! I planned trying come different crochet trims with fun yarns and see what else I can come up with
Frizzie Lizzie Stitches did an amigurumi Coraline doll. Your daughter would probably love it!
Yes she would! Might have to surprise her with one🥰 thanks for the info
The kitties are so cute, my cats were searching for the meows 😂. You really need to start some SALs since at this point I need to stitch some of the same :) Congratulations again on your beautiful finish. Happy Stitching!
Thanks! I might have to start one, maybe in Sept for my birthday, I have an idea what I want to start but she is a biggie
@@TheCrowRiverStitcher go big or go home…or never leave home 😬
Ha! You got that right🥰
I always enjoy your Flosstube. Your stitching in beautiful. I love your finished pillows with the crocheted trim. What a creative idea! Just as a reminder the Nora Corbett came from Herrschner's. Hi neighbor😍 thank you so much!
Your Teresa Kogut finish is so beautiful! Loved seeing the tiny kittens too! 😍
Thank you! 😊
You're so very enjoyable to watch. Love your stitch choices, your work is so beautiful I'm an animal lover as well. Your baby kittens are just adorable!!! I just want to squish their cute little faces ❤
Thank you so much! It is hard not to wanna squeeze them😂
For your 46 count fabric, try a size 12 short beading tapestry point. I've used John James brand. Thank you for another wonderful video!
Thanks for the tip! I’ll try them
Love the idea of a chain trim! I have not seen that before.
Thanks, so easy too😍
Hello, I came to your channel from the runner stitcher. I subscribed since I enjoyed your content. Thank you for sharing. I cross stitch slowly 🐢
Thanks for subbing and commenting 🥰
I love the crochet trim! I would never have thought of doing that. I have some very old books of crochet trim so I'm going to have to try that.
Yay, I bet there are some great trims in that book🥰
@TheCrowRiverStitcher I have 3 books from the 40's and 50's that belonged to my mother.
Fun!
Love your videos and your stitching is so pretty! I think you need to keep Smudge.
I think so too! She is a cutie🐱
I love your story for Beauty Fades!❤
Thank you! 😊
Beading needles have been recommended for the higher counts. I like Sullivans, Easy Guide ball tip needle you get two and a pack. They are kind of pricey but wonderful.
Thank you for the info 😍
Loved the critter cameo. thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching!🐱
Omg! The kitty!!!!!!!❤❤❤
😺
Try the Peacemaker needles. I use the Peacemaker for all full coverage that I stitch on 25 ct 1 over 1. In find the sharpest one in the pack.
Perfect! I’ll give them a try❤️
Yeah, I figured the synthetic trim was not liking the fit dye. Maybe need a heavy duty synthetic dye? Harder to find cotton trims
Beautiful Teresa Kogut finish. I started Serenity for Mother’s Day. I love Elise Rose’s channel and her free patterns. I want to make the bunnies too. Which brand and type of yarn did you use? They came out adorable

That is awesome! Such a great chart with all the different animal motifs😂
❤❤❤
Really enjoyed your video. We are also farmers. Beef cattle in Missouri
Thanks for watching!❤️

May I suggest a beading needle when you are stitching on the 46 count?
Thank you for the info!🥰
Yay!! Another great video..looove those little kitty cries...so sweet. Are you close to Detroit Lakes?
Thanks! No I’m closer to Hutchison area in west of the cities
What about adding French knots to those little sheep...to give dimension?
Thank is a great idea!❤️
Loved your video. I have a suggestion. When you show your charts could you read the words on them please. It would help me decide if l want to do it myself. Thanks and see you soon.
Yes, totally didn’t even think about that. Will do for next time❤️
Size 10 beading needle. Try that
I will try that, I have some of those so thank you❤️
Is your sewing machine a diamond?
It is a Ruby 90 so basically a diamond body packaged as a new Ruby since they don’t make the diamond anymore 🥰
🐴🐴🐴
Wasn't your hair red last podcast??? LOL
Yes🤪 it fades so quickly
Due to washing and being outside in the sun!
