Sustainable cattle culture (beyond just "grass fed") like found on Polyface Farms with Joel Salatin (and many others, we got a local guy who does it with bison) reduces carbon and helps the climate, at that point not using the leather would be a huge waste. i love the work theyre doing mentioned here but the 'mushroom leather' wont last as long as heavy animal leather. it could still work for light use, just not what you would use leather for (motorcycle gear? welding protection? not gonna happen). its a bit like vegans naming their food after things they DONT eat... fake this or beyond that... just call it what it is and you wont disappoint people expecting the "real" thing. the danger is hard work and good products die of bad marketing. better off calling it "fabulous mushroom fabric"

I like to think that it was a vegan/vegetarian that hit it, with their artic oil or mined lithium powered cars, eating mass production food and distracted because they are writing some rant on social media about what horrible humans "meateaters" are. 😂 Veganism is so disconnected from nature, absolutely ridiculous

Would love to be able to get into one of the Johns Hopkins' trials with Psilocybin. Been struggling with bad depression for years and through your work and outreach I've learned a lot about how helpful they are.
Definitely find a source or grow your own, and, if you’re able to, in a controlled and safe environment, take a full dose followed up with microdosing every 3-4 days. Paul recommends his Stamets Stack which is taking Psilocybin, Lions Mane, and Niacin together as well.
You can get the spores for study (legal) and grow them yourself (illegal). The John’s Hopkins trials are also only for tobacco addiction at this moment unfortunately. But I have found that the mushrooms have helped with my depression and anxiety.

I had a dream once. in the dream, humanity realized that fungus were capable of being used as shoes, naturally protecting our feet whilst collecting nutrients and spreading spores via human walking. The fungus was so beneficial to us that it started to spread from the soles of the feet. It could provide joint support, it could provide warmth, it could provide comfort. the fungus grew upwards, encasing the ankle like a sock or a boot. Then into pants. Then a shirt. as the atmosphere of earth became more toxic, the fungus offered a thin layer of membrane, which absorbed CO2 on the outside and excreted oxygen on the inside. Thus the fungus took the head and by now the humans had no choice but to accept the decisions of the fungus, for their very lives were completely dependent on the network of mycelium which encompassed and protected the body. For a short time it was mutual symbiosis, but soon the fungus took the nervous system and humans were no longer in control of their own bodies. weird dream
