Thats the youtube/streamer world we are living in. People only show successes not failures and try to give off a false impression of being perfect by just omitting everything they did wrong. Cutting deaths and only posting high kill games is not realistic.

I think the amount of times you ran out of ammo just before killing an enemy with the FCAR says it all
I usually run the AK because most of my matches there is usually 2 maybe 3 people at a time and downing two Littles at a time is very common
I equip these 2 weapon in meds build
if I face more light/medium scar is, if there are more heavy I switch to ak
There's a lot of moments here where Timmy transfer sprays after a kill and does some extra damage on a 2nd target that leads to a kill/assist/meangingful action. He wouldn't be able to do that with a fcar. Situational of course and just an example.
But it does come down to your accuracy. Like he said, if you can't get a kill with one mag using an Akm, you might as well use the fcar and get your aim up to snuff
I'm not sure if we could say one is better than the other. I'd say it really depends on your playstyle/aim/skill
In tourney/rank, use ak because with 9 enemies running around, the extra 16 rounds helps when fighting multiple people, in the final 3v3 use fcar
if your comp is HMM with recon sense and heal beam, recon fcar because you will fire your gun before the enemy most of the time while if you are healing beam, you want ak because juggling healing + reloading every 20 rounds has alot of downtime and you can break dome/mesh shields

@@charlie2105 No. It was referring to if you can't kill an enemy with 36 rounds and have to reload, might as well use the fcar and reload mid fight to kill someone with the 20+20 rounds
How is 20+20 better than 36+36? If you're missing too much to where you will need to reload even with an AKM isn't more bullets better? I think the AKM even reloads a bit faster no?@@namo2403

Love the pistol. Light is just so fun for me. Which is funny because usually I prefer tanking damage. The hit and run tactics and movement us just insanity. I love the finals.
I play mainly medium. I think FCAR is definitely better. It has a really nice scope and does more damage. It requires good tracing to get a kill in one clip, but you also have teammates and utility. You can damage them other ways if you can't do a successful 100-0 kill.
My problem with that is why would I run a gun where I'm going to need to rely on teammates or util to finish 20-30% of my kills over the one where not only will I definitely kill the one but I there's I good chance I could even kill two with one mag?
@@TDG-Supremacy Just means you're better with the AK over the FCAR. Just personal preference. But like... your kills don't have to be gun kills. There's a lot of ways to do damage.
Nothing wrong with using utility to get kills too... it comes back. Reloading and cooldowns aren't that long. Just comes down to personal play styles. FCAR definitely requires better aim though.
I don't particularly like the FCAR recoil tbh. Thinking of switching to Riot Shield. Been playing Heavy Flamethrower and it taught me a lot. Think I could transfer that knowledge to a Medium Riot Shield build.

@@saimyintmyat9373 Depends on your skill level. You don't need the full clip on either if you're aim is cracked enough. I think it only really matters much with less skilled people. I think for most people the FCAR would be easier to use because it's scoped even if the recoil is a bit worse.

I hope this game catches on in the competitive realm. Not looking forward to sweaty tryhards, but there's so much potential for recon strategies, kit versatility, and team layouts. Not to mention clutch moments feel so satisfying lol

Ak if your game has heavys with shield, fcar otherwise. I switch a lot to practice both anyways though in case of future buffs/nerfs
AK is for damaging tank while Fcar is for deleting Light class.
In Piggy's recent tier list video, he said FCAR for damage, AKM for shield shred. But he also said AKM is better if there are teams with double heavies. But since the question is what's better for the average player, probably FCAR since it's easier to control.

@@zinq-zinq4059 Yeah it's definitely my strongest weapon as the medium but you have to hit your shots because the mag is so small. The AKM is better for casuals because you can miss a few shots, it has plenty in the mag. I personally run Fcar with frags, zip, and defib.

Fcar and revy for medium for light pistol and mp5 and for heavy shotgun and Lewis gun diff ones are better for diff builds honestly from what I’ve seen but I like these weapons the light double barrel is crazy but I don’t like using it 😂

Fcar recoil is definitely more difficult than AK for me. The AK literally doesn't move. The Fcar needs like just 2 more bullets in the mag though for sure.

I have one question that I've never been able to get a straight answer on. I'm fairly decent at aiming but i struggle at tracking, like i can snap to targets really consistently but if they're moving erratically i struggle at maintaining the aim. What exercises would you recommend for practicing my tracking skills out of a game.
Buy kovaaks and do tracking scenarios
for one, don’t turn off your brain while aiming; don’t go on autopilot. Whenever you do, your reaction time is a lot less

AKM all the way, statistically the fcar is stronger. But i cant 1 clip consistently enough. So when stuff gets chaotic, which the whole game is, i prefer the extra mag size

It really depends on your playstyle if you are aggressive and want kills the akm is the choice for you but if you play strategic and a little at range the fcar is the better option

It has but to a lesser extent, like if you slide on it you go further, but no so far like in apex. But in this game you can place it on an angle so u get the longer jump if it's angled like on a house roof or something

at 7:48 , Timmy has 8 bullets in his mag but sprays the shit out of enemy with it even when he run out of ammo. is that a connection issue ? or bug ? cuz he kills the enemy without ammo in the mag and actually delivers damage and reloads after atleast shooting 5 to 10 bullets without having any in the mag. im confused...

I think it depends more on the varying enemy team structures. If there is a prevalence of heavies, then the fcar is more effective due to its heavier dmg on heavies (less headshots to kill vs the AKM). Its a good debate nonetheless. You'd hate to see the community bashing one weapon for being broken. The fact the conversation is this balanced speaks to where the medium is as a class.
This is why we need reserve swapping in ranked, you could actually adjust your build to counter enemies
Medium is objectively the best class. There is a reason every good player thinks that medium is broken, but every dogshit player is arguing about light heavy

For soome who keep saying the AKM is better than the FCAR and recently tried to really use the FCAR what make the dif is your gameplay. If you're always at close range the AKM is better. But if you stay at mid range the FCAR is way better. It all depends on how the game is going and how you play.
Loved the ak in beta could literally fry people at distance and in the air but at launch the first couple shots the recoil feels almost to rng to me so I stick with the scar

I hate how every game just turns into the same old bs with, this and that needs to be nerf and or buffed. I love how there’s such a skill gap in this game and there’s “cheese” to counter “cheese”. I just can’t stand how people just can’t accept some people are absolutely ridiculously better at the game and know how to use the abilities/equipment, movement to their advantage because they have spent the time playing the character and getting used to it. The casual aspect of the game is so good, it’s an arcade shooter to the max and I love it especially bank it and the competitive side with the tournament style is genius too. In my opinion, I just feel like most people just cry and whine too much. Look at Apex, I feel like they just cater to the pros way too much now and it’s no longer fun like yeah I get it, it’s competitive but it was always competitive but it was fun at the same time.
Any time you’re killing 2 or more people the AKM has the faster TTK. If you’re killing 1 person the FCAR has better TTK. Why do I say this? The AKM has a 700 dmg per mag while the FCAR has 500 dmg per mag. If the AKM were to output 500 of its 700 dmg. The FCAR is faster than the AKM by 0.2 second. If the FCAR is to output 700 dmg to match the AKM it has to reload making the AKM faster by 1.8 seconds. The AKM is 1.8 seconds faster for multiple people than the FCAR is for a single person. Meaning the true TTK when you factor in reloads favors the AKM by nearly two seconds. This is why you have to look at stats closely instead of taking everything face value. This comparison is equivalent to a car that’s fast off the line vs a car that’s faster over time. The FCAR is faster when it comes to the first kill but the AKM is faster after that because the reload continuously plagues the FCARs ttk. @3:19-@3:37 shows my exact point of why the AKM is better for multiple ppl. Timmy would’ve been dead encountering 4 ppl this quick if he had the FCAR because he would’ve had to reload 2-4 times meaning 4-8 seconds out of the fight vs reloading 1 time for 2.6 seconds and being able to kill 4 ppl.
I've been a big fan for a while but bro, there's no way you aren't running configs. You don't "adjust" for recoil. It simply isn't there to begin with.
