BIG_RAFUS 30000 Exactly i doubt any of this would’ve happened even if we drafted Randy Moss... especially the belichick thing since he’d want full control
Imagine a division with Brady, Rodgers, Eli and McNabb, the NFC East would have nonstop primetime games. Edit: it feels like every scenario Drew Brees doesn’t go to New Orleans they get Vince Young.
Also most of them forget to mention how terrible the post-Katrina Saints were without Brees. So their also their was a very high chance the Saints would have been relocated without Brees and Bush on the team. Most likey to Los Angeles.
This was unrealistic, but REALLY fun to watch! You did a great job on it. I'd like to think maybe with Jerry getting that 98 Super Bowl he's less stubborn which in turn allows him to make those moves he made going into the future here.
@Harry Engel Or a Falcon, he was in the same draft class as Vick and that dogfighting incident cut Vick's career with the team to only six seasons while Brees would most likely still be with the Falcons today if they drafted him
@Harry Engel Or a Falcon, he was in the same draft class as Vick and that dogfighting incident cut Vick's career with the team to only six seasons while Brees would most likely still be with the Falcons today if they drafted him
I love my boys' right now, but I really wouldn't be mad if that would've ever happened in Real life. 6 titles before the Steelers sounds like heaven to me.
I find it hilarious that it started with Randy Moss joining and then it just became you know what the Cowboys are the smartest organization in the world and you know they will get everything right for the next 20 years
Ever since KTO has stopped making alternate reality's regularly. I hope you guys take over. Also considering that Drew Brees and Reggie Bush are playing in Miami and not post-Katrina New Orleans. Its highly likely the team would relocate. Possibly to San Antonio or Los Angeles (Bonus points if it's with the equally worse off Rams leaving eariler).
Many people do not realize it but when Bill Belichick was the Defensive Coordinator for the Giants, he made a strong bid for them to draft Reggie White, who was on the board when they selected. However, they elect OL Zimmerman, who never played for the Giants. Reggie White with Lawrence Taylor would have as scary as the right side of the Cowboys OL with Larry Allen and if Erik Williams had not crashed his vehicle, which he never fully recovered from.
The Cowboys draft Randy Moss and win the super bowl "ok, that's bold but not out of the question" Then they have one down year, fire their coach, and hire Bil Belichick because reasons, and he makes every right decision ever the end. "......"
Here's what I love about this video. After drafting Randy Moss in 1998, Jerry Jones had the foresight to hire Bill Bellichick (who in turn drafts Tom Brady) draft Brian Urlacher and Ed Reed. Even more hilarious, Dan Snyder drafts Aaron Rodgers. That bozo hasn't gotten anything right in 20-plus seasons. This is the difference between fantasy and reality.
What if my grandma never needed a hip replacement and led her dancing team to dancing with the stars and winning every contest beating Emmitt Smith and Jerry Rice.
Two issues I have with this scenario which I don't think would have happened. One I can't see Troy Aikman retiring after 98 considering that was only his 9th season. I think he would have played in the 99 seasons and then ultimately forced to retire in 2000 because of concussions. They do get back into the playoffs but wouldn't make it past the 99 rams. That means Chan Gailey is never fired, therefore they don't sign Bill Belichick and do not draft Tom Brady.
ok, brady, moss urlacher, reed, tillman, cj2k, wayne, THIS WOULD NOT HAPPEN. you cant do a what if video by just giving one team amazing players every year.
This isn't that crazy. Randy Moss was the LeBron James/Mike Tyson of NFL weapons - a once-in-a-life-time mega-weapon of never-to-be-seen-again talent. His presence transformed the league in 1998-present and would have done the same thing here.
I Always Thought drafting Quincy Carter was a bigger mistake than not drafting moss, For some reason my gut told me that If they didn’t give up their first round draft pick in 01, they would’ve drafted a better QB like Drew agrees or someone like that, they might made another Super Bowl. Not win it, but just making it would’ve been enough.
As a Cowboys fan this makes me moister than an oyster, but as someone who lives in Massachusetts, I laugh at Tom Brady and Bill Belichick playing for the Cowboys.
You forgot the part during the back to back super bowl wins in 02 and 03 where Jerry boy becomes and egotistical manic and either fires Bill or turmoil lasts for 2 years until Bill quits
Randy Moss was an uncontrollable highly possible troublemaker at the time of the draft. At that time the Cowboys could not afford another troublemaker. So they passed. In my strong opinion, that brush off was a bucket of cold water in Randy's face, and he cleaned up his act. So, yes, the "actual" Randy Moss looks like he would have been awesomely valuable; but the TRUTH is that his ego would have self-destructed him, so the Cowboys ... DODGED A BULLET.
That is a fair point, but at the same time, they also had Michael Irvin, Leon Lett and others players who were known for their “off-field incidents” to put it kindly. As a cowboys fan, I don’t think Tandy Would’ve gotten us to any Super Bowl, even if he played with Dallas for 10 years. But I do think that his presence built some stability for an offense that was struggling in the early 2000s. Especially with the Joey Galloway trade not happening, I don’t think we would have taken Urlacher and Wayne, but, we could have taken guys like Julian Peterson, Shaun Ellis, Koren Robinson, or Chris Chambers
@@Lubbock_Kid1959 Irvin, Leon, Erik Williams and others is EXACTLY what I was referring to. Things had grown out of hand, and that is exactly why they passed on him. By the way, it's ironic about Michael, since his work ethic was one of the strongest in team history. Highly ironic: the people that you would expect would be the laziest prima donnas in practice turned out to be the very hardest workers - Michael, Deion, and T.O. Hardest workers on the team. BION.
