If you think about it, this really signifies that we're in the endgame of One Piece. Up until now, Garp being on the move would sort of break the story, but now Oda can actually use him, either as a legitimate threat or to fend off a legitimate threat. It's kinda funny how Garp was introduced so early, sold us exactly on how much he was pulling his punches, and _still_ overwhelmed us with his opening move when fighting seriously.
Gorosei getting named and going on the move, Shanks seemingly being an imminent part of the plot, Garp finally getting his time to shine… we are definitely in the final saga!

My theory on garps ship launching is that when the strawhats escaped him in Water 7, they used the coop de burst. and garp probably saw that and said, "Man thats cool we gotta do that!" and probably just went up to a random marine scientist and told him to make his ship fly

Garp simply saw the Coup de Burst back in Water 7 and stole his grandson escape technique. I think he simply punched the sea to create the effect of a Coup de Burst. At this point I wouldnt even be surprised

I would say that Garp's Galaxy Impact was stronger than Shank's Kamusari, but it was also closer to his full power. He also probably can't use it as often as he used to in his prime, which would explain why the attack was so coordinated with the other characters.

@@yuvisahni8123 Because people who have Conqueror's Haki usually have the ambition to be some kind of king or leader. Luffy wants to be Pirate King, Zoro wants to be the World's Strongest Swordsman. Doflamingo wanted to be Celestial Dragon again, (or at the least the king of a country,) for example. Marines though tend not to have such ambitions seeking only to secure/protect the World Government's law and order. And given that the Marines have a strict military hierarchy, those sorts of situations tend to squash such individualistic ambitions exhibited by most conqueror's haki users.

Random side points here: - I’m surprised I didn’t expect Garp to have an attack named Galaxy after we have seen him use meteor named attacks back in water seven. - They seemed to have planned everything so far so with Garp attacking I believe they could make a clay wall and overall protective shield that gets turned ceramic from the heat off of the attack. Just a way to explain how Coby and them could escape the damage of the attack. - So this may not be Garp’s strongest attack but Garp is up there in years. This could be the max he can do and could be something he needs some recovery time for his Haki. He can still fight and use basic Haki, but I believe due to his age he can’t just do the Galaxy attacks back to back.

I like to think the Rocks pirates had a falling out mid battle during God Valley that's why they lost. But I'm also thinking beside Roger's top 2 men, Rayleigh and Scopper who else was at God Valley cause the Rocks pirate line up is crazy since it's basically 3 yonko level pirates and everyone being probably a 1st commander type of level with young kaido and shiki. I think it be interesting if another admiral at the time was there helping but died or something, adding more to the fact Rocks pirates were scary plus God Valley was a important place to the celestial dragons and while Garp was there it make sense they send a admiral to protect the Island
I can’t really speak to an admiral dying there, but I wouldn’t be shocked if part of Garp’s backup was Sengoku- those two were THE Dynamic Duo for the Marines back in that general time period, and the amount of knowledge Sengoku has on the incident just feels like he saw things he’ll never forget.

Hey Tekking, I have a thought the other day, maybe you can cover it in a short or something. Can a devil fruit be lost forever? As in if Boa turns people in to stone, they are not dead, but if the user of the Love-Love Fruit is dead, the ones turned into stone are not be able to turn back. This makes the devil fruit’s soul not leave the body and begin the cycle again. Maybe there are some devil fruit power that is just lost because of this mechanic alone. Love your vids btw.
4:05 Tashigi kinda gave the ok for that to happen, so we can assume Smoker was around and that they are both part of Sword, but of course, Smoker cannot do that. Yet I guess her giving the "we're ready" was a hint from Oda. Fujitora in Dressrosa did what Smoker tried to do in Alabasta, so they might have become friends over that (met at Egghead Island when Smoker and Tashigi were dealing with the kids from Punk Hazard, and when Fujitora "saw" the Seraphim for the first time before Reverie, and bonded over it), so it might very much be him givinh the gree light for Tashigi to relay it to the others. BUT! Fujitora doesn't need that much preparation and announcement to lift a ship, we saw what he did with no warning at Dressrosa. I'm thinking Garp's ship can Coup the Burst, and that's what we saw. And it could be a whole "Vegapunk developed something to do it, and all the Marine ships have it now" or "Garp has had people working on it since he saw it in Water 7"

I like to imagine Kamusari is more lethal, but the sheer destructive range emitted from a Haki attack is probably going to have a higher DPS, so to speak.

I'm pretty sure there was a flashback scene or some sort of illustration that showed Roger wielding a sword and Garp with a club vs the Rocks Pirates. I believed it was when Sengoku was telling the Marines about the Rocks incident. It was very lowkey but they show Garp holding a bat/club.

Hey Tekking, I have a thought the other day, maybe you can cover it in a short or something. Can a devil fruit be lost forever? As in if Boa turns people in to stone, they are not dead, but if the user of the Love-Love Fruit is dead, the ones turned into stone are not be able to turn back. This makes the devil fruit’s soul not leave the body and begin the cycle again. Maybe there are some devil fruit power that is just lost because of this mechanic alone.

4:05 Tashigi kinda gave the ok for that to happen, so we can assume Smoker was around and that they are both part of Sword, but of course, Smoker cannot do that. Yet I guess her giving the "we're ready" was a hint from Oda. Fujitora in Dressrosa did what Smoker tried to do in Alabasta, so they might have become friends over that (met at Egghead Island when Smoker and Tashigi were dealing with the kids from Punk Hazard, and when Fujitora "saw" the Seraphim for the first time before Reverie, and bonded over it), so it might very much be him givinh the gree light for Tashigi to relay it to the others.
BUT! Fujitora doesn't need that much preparation and announcement to lift a ship, we saw what he did with no warning at Dressrosa. I'm thinking Garp's ship can Coup the Burst, and that's what we saw. And it could be a whole "Vegapunk developed something to do it, and all the Marine ships have it now" or "Garp has had people working on it since he saw it in Water 7"
