As a Malaysian, just a note that squat toilets are not commonly found in homes nowadays, so take that into account when building. Mostly they are found in public buildings or rural areas, eg if you stop at a gas station toilet along the highway while travelling interstate, or if you visit say, a mall or office building (but if so, usually mall toilets or whatever will have one or two squat toilet stalls and the rest will be sit toilets).
yea in turkey we had them everywhere back then but nowadays new buildings usually dont have squat toilets but in my home we have one squat toilet on its own and one normal toilet at the bathroom and honestly it is so useful especially when the one is taken
curious that while being more common in Asia, the first one I ever saw was in a gas station at France around the 1980s-1990s, in Japan there are still plenty of those, even in not so old-buildings, but houses do have either normal ones or the fancy bidet ones.

Unfortunately the pressure cooker's meals have to be paid outright, instead of using ingredients to lower their cost. I hope we get a future patch where the recipes can be made with the right ingredients. That would make for a rental off the grid challenge somewhat interesting.
Also fresh chef perk to keep food made by perk holder from spoiling, doesn't seem to work for food made in new cooker. hopefully this will get addressed in a patch as well

For Rent is one of the nicest packages, in my opinion. TS4 is quite boring but this EP is saving it for me. I'm loving living in a building with my neighbors.
About the radiators if you got the Vampire pack the old radiator also works and can be synched witth seasons thermostat. I don't have For Rent yet and maybe best untill they fix the bugs (hopefully)

XD I've always said EA is evil but Maxis is mischievous! They prank their own players quite a bit 🤣...rather than ruining their players' lives as EA does.

Since I got the For Rent Expansion pack, I got most of the items in this video like the kettle, pressure cooker, squat toilet, Tibert the Tiger, Tiger Inspector Badge, Tassels, Air Conditioner, Radiator, Mysterious Basket, & Sugarcane Juice Tray. I never know there was an option you can drink the unicorn galaxy tea that can make sims playful, I’ll try that for later hehehe. And yes, I’m also struggling to find out what to put on the mysterious basket as well 😅. My most favorite item from the pack was Tibert the Tiger, I can’t stop patting Tibert because I find it so cute 🥰
You can also get an Uncomfortable moodlet. Something about achy thighs or inability to balance. I wonder if it's trait based or related to fitness stkill?

Radiators, I like it. As someone living in the Netherlands I was really missing these items that come with the house here when you move in. And that you can connect them to the Seasons thermostat is even better - and realistic. But squat toilets? I've never seen those before. And never thought they exist in the first place. There are two issues with the pressure cooker that are deal breakers for me. One is that it's unnecessary. You can cook the same dishes on the stove. With its very small range of meal options, this isn't all that useful. Worse is that food made in the pressure cooker is unaffected by the Fresh Chef Trait. Even if you have that Trait, food made in the pressure cooker will still spoil. I've tried the device. I wasn't impressed and I don't use it in any house. I would rather cook the meals on a stove and have leftovers last indefinitely.

That's so interesting! As someone who's only lived/traveled in the Americas and Europe, I've never seen a real squat toilet! I find it fascinating that such a common thing is so different for different cultures - and it's really cool that The Sims is making more of a dedicated effort towards representing more cultures in the game!

I love this series. There's so much in the game, but I always seem to forget them or never find them because of it. This helps.
Squat toilet was easy because they already had the squat to pee animation from werewolves.

Using the squat toilet will give your sim from time to time a positive moodlet. I think it’s energized.
