In this video I explain how to make a bird feeder by slab building. I start of by rolling out the clay, cut this in the right shapes and then put everything together. In the end I glaze it and show you the finished result!

If you use foam and write measurements can make same size each time. I do this then you can trace it . I think bird feeder is cute idea! Thanks for videos❤️

Are you saying “vinegar” when you brush over the clay? Didn’t know that was a thing. Why vinegar?
Yes I use vinegar! The vinegar has a reaction with the clay which makes the clay viscosity higher which means it becomes stickier and helps it bond better. It has something to do with the P.H level, not sure what that is, but it works great and also clean :)

Hi..need to know if your thickness of slabs were 1/4" or 1/2" ?
About 1/4", but you can use thicker slabs if you'd like, the piece will just be a bit heavier :)
