This guy is the opposite of your typical Craigslist seller “I want to make sure this bike runs very good for the next owner” keep up the good vids man👍
Just brought a Derbi Senda Xtreme 50 @ 16, turned out needed a new top end and crankshaft and alot of other work, wish all sellers where as honest as you and cared about selling a bike that's actually reliable, rather than being dishonest and trying to flog what's essentially a project bike for more than its worth. All running and riding good as new now though, but still annoyed at the negative experience of my first buy.
Can you do a 2013 kx250f in your 4 stroke engine build series? Just bought one that’s blown up and has a hole in both the cases, bent valves, connecting rod in half and I’m debating on doing the work myself if you make a video on it
Man i've watched this video numbers of times can't wait till you do a 4 stroke rebuild step by step theres just nothing out there with 450's build only few 250 build and they seam to miss a lot of steps. not manny videos out there like CN & AP for real very well put together
Such a great video can super tell you actually care about how your putting it back together instead of throwing it together. Just curious how your filming while your working on it? Camera on a tripod behind you? Or what? It’s almost like first person, makes it so great trying to learn how to work on bikes
Dude so sick, not sure what area your in in WA I’m from federal way went to bates college to work on bikes. Worked at the big shop in Spokane for a bit but now I’m Vancouver wa. But wanting to start a channel for fun so just kind of curious. Don’t know how to film or the copy right stuff for the music. But love watching the videos!
I did really like it I went there about 9 years ago. It was finishing high school and getting your degree at the same time for me. Normal school was boring to me so it was a great opportunity. Much different then I expected though. It’s almost like paying someone to work for free. And they make you learn almost by yourself and if ya just can’t figure it out they help you. But it was a great experience so glad I went there. Did you go to school or just learn on your own?
5:20 Short explaination: 4 Stroke engines have no precompression, therefore the preassure is higher on the gearbox side. This results in the seals facing with their preassure sides (lip sides) towards the gearbox and away from the crankcase
Hey addz love ya work brother , all smick n solid efforts mate! keep up the golden goods!! Also just a tip try using "ally bright" mate it brings alloy frames and parts up like new spray on gurnie off. I use it on all my bikes and alloy boats mate brings em up like new it comes in a white bottle with black label chrome writing awesome stuff
Looking good my man! Do me a quick favour and make sure you test that stator out, just due to the colour if it, its possibly burning out. Would hate to see you have to pull it apart again.
hey, quick question, is there any point in cleaning the cases after you put the engine together? It seems easier to clean taken apart. I have no clue if it would be a risk at damaging internals for cleaning while it's apart. Thanks!
Adam Paganelli Do you recommend purchasing a service manual for every bike you work on? I try to keep one for every bike I own but I frequently help friends on their bikes and they usually cheap out by skipping the manual. I don't like this because online torque specs and other info is often incorrect. I'd imagine spending an extra $50 on every bike can cut into profit but over time you could collect most that you need. I recently purchased a home and plan to flip more bikes with the extra space I will have.
Hey man. They definitely make life easier so I usually pick one up if it needs any sort of serious work. If you HMU on Instagram I can send you a link to where you can buy service manuals for around $10
Hey Adam, ive always loved riding dirt bikes, i really wanna learn to do maintenance on them but i dont know how to get started, right now i have a 50cc Rieju Mrt 2 stroke, and everytime it breaks i have to take it to a shop where they will charge me way too much, ive never done any maintenance on a bike and for some reason i feel like if i would try i would mess something up, what should i do?
hi man, i have a honda mtx 80 an it locked up on me driving last week, cant even kick start the bike... just gone in to be fixed he has to look at the engine to see whats up but i think i need a new bottom end, i know where to get a new Cylinder kit can you help me out with the bottom end kit??
hey!!!! exactly my idea!!! i have one question tough! can one actually make a proffit doing this? so far in my calculations "here in sweden annyway" the cost of spareparts eats upp allmost all of the proffit. did not watch most of the video because i was writing this , hahahahah didnt neet to. but the parts i watched it was great . tnx ride hard die free
Some discoloring of the steel plates does not necessarily mean clutch is shot, and oil filters can be re used provided they are not contaminated. My concern was he didn't show fitting the oil filter spring. But as the rest of his work was very good I doubt it was forgotten.
Unfortunatelly in mt country we don't have thousends of companies that make lots of products similiar to original or even above. So it is completely out of question to rebuild a engine like this unless we import from usa and spend almost the price of the bike just to rebuild an engine.
Luci YZ hot rods cranks are fairly decent but in this case you are correct Wiesco cranks are garbage but he is trying to make a profit by flipping and wiesco is cheaper.

Always rebuild the water pump while you're in there.

will the 4 stroke build be similar to the cr125 build based on attention and detail to all components
Yes. Hopefully even more detailed.

Fix it yourself! Get a service manual and do some research and you will be able to fix most issues
Hey man how much would you charge to rebuild a 2000 rm250
I'm from indonesia ,and i like this 👍
Sztos film . Pozdro z Polski 😎
Umm you do know that if you heat it up it will be harder to take out because they metal expands?
hey curious what exactly is the blue stuff your putting on all the case side of the seals and the gaskets?
Greese to allow the gaskets to not get stuck to the cases when you do the next service
Oh awesome, thought maybe was additional sealant
How did you learn all of this?
Good work .
Thank you!
Good video, just be careful in future dropping your spark plugs in like that, can cause a lot of problems 👍🏻
Thank you!
I want a fully rebuild of a tetra will be very interesting

That clutch looked shot when you put it back in. & the oil filter looked used not new

Can somone tell me the intevals for when you should replace stuff on a 4 stroke, piston, crank, camshaft, etc
It really depends how hard you ride the bike and how well you have maintained it. A leak down test is a good measure

Unfortunatelly in mt country we don't have thousends of companies that make lots of products similiar to original or even above. So it is completely out of question to rebuild a engine like this unless we import from usa and spend almost the price of the bike just to rebuild an engine.

Weres part 3
Why didn’t you just clean the engine cases when you had it in bits
I did but after I decided I wanted to go back and clean them some more
Where's part 3? I hate it when people do this, not even an updated explanation in the description.
Sweet! 🤑🤑
