Hi M. I must say i can't disagree with you more with your assessment of the treble of the Triangle BR03s. They highs are in no way too sharp and they definitely do not sound cheap. Coming from an Elac Debut 6 2.0, the Triangles are clear and have exceptional detail. No hate for the Elacs i enjoyed them immensely for the better part of 2 years. However, the Triangles are a huge upgrade. The detractors of these speakers all i can say is that they probably have heard too many speakers and their ears need a break. They are clear, articulate, and fantastic for their price.
Its interesting that you say it has cheap and sharp highs, on the other hand I feel that the treble is too refined and not capable of producing sharpness or sibilance as the track intended on my setup. If you dont mind sharing your chain that would be great thanks. Since your discription reminds me of the time I demoed them with the Audiolab 6000A where it wasnt very detailed chugged hard and had pretty gratting treble(not really harsh but very annoying and wonky). Donno if it was a good or bad thing that Triangle released such a source sensitive speaker. But on the bright side that means that it scales really well to higher end gear for better or worse. That being said thank you for introing quadrals to me. If what you say is true it might be the potenial upgrade I am looking for.
I returned the BR02. I ordered both with the Q150, like you said much better high end + clarity on the KEF. To be honest I've not encountered a better pair for 300-400 range.

Yeah, great performer especially at low volume and near-field listening!
can you review Magnat Signature 503 3-Way
It's up on the channel! 😉
Name of the speaker stands
Good review!
I had these and returned them. They have less clarity than the BR02
