@itonycSD Hitting that D string with my index while the thumb is wrapped over is hard as hell. I can get the G string easily, but the D really is a strain. I think its because the tip of my thumb doesn't bend forward 90 degrees like most people. So I have to fret the low string with the side of my thumb rather than the tip of it. It can bend backward 90 degrees but not forward. I try to strech it everyday forward and thats help a little.
