I can say that not many HKG ppl miss British rule. There might be a few who mourn the old days, but the majority doesn't give a monkey. If you personally miss British rule so much, you may move to the UK. I saw a documentary (i think taiwanese peoduction) the other day on RUclips. They followrd a young HKG family who moved to Sheffield (what da Puck?!?, how on earth would anyone leave HKG for Sheffield???) Quite logical, the family father was quite depressed and he was working as a food delivery man, the kids were unhappy, the daughter doesn't want to speak in english and the wife gor a job in HR, where she recruits other depressed HKGs who stranded in lovely post industrial places like Sheffield for menial, low skill, low wage but hard physical labour. Great deal huh?
