Thank you for this! Just to let you know, there’s a small error in the article - in the results writeup for Uro Pile, it says it went 2-1 against Uro Pile instead of 1-2 against Eggs.
Andrea's personality shines through more and more each time hes on, his first episodes it felt like you were just watching a pro do his thing, but now it feels like hes just another nember of channel just playing magic with his friends
Another thing they didn't mention is that DTS can gain 2 life, making it much much less likely that the draw is fatal, making the "attack liliana" plan even better.

Having looked at the Swiss rounds, Hogaak more or less dominated the field, and it's not likely to be very close at all. There's a reason that Hogaak was the card banned once the deck pivoted so smoothly away from the Bridges to the other shenanigans the deck had. Honestly, Hogaak was even better without Bridge, too, which is the more terrifying part.
Considering what's planned, it'll be determined by whether scam can kick out Hogaak or not. The issue is, you'd need to have a very dedicated sideboard to deal with Gaak. I don't think Scam is favoured at all.
@@Geroaergaroe Looking at the Rakdos Midrange/Scam deck in modern, according to MTGGoldfish, they run 4 Voidwalkers maindeck, and 2ish Hearses in the Side, which would generally be enough graveyard hate. I absolutely loved the Standard version of this series, and the Modern version seems like it could be even better! I'm looking forward to the next video!

Your production and everything is fantastic. Its cool to see you all doing something you love.
I've done what I enjoyed doing the most while watching Reid Duke : pausing the video and telling all the possible lines for the jund players and trying guessing the right one. Always brings good memories watching jund
Unfortunately that would be waaaayyyy more expensive than you think 😅 we don't have enough cameras and overhead rigs so we'd have to have each match played individually. So we'd have to pay people for multiple days of playing or buy a bunch more equipment. We'd also need an editor to go through all of that. I'm sorry but I doubt footage of the swiss will ever happen

It is so good seeing Dark Confidant being played. I remember back in the day I used to play it in a Mardu deck with Grave Titan. Hit myself for 6 a couple times. ^^

Hey! I was there! I played a budget Delver list without Snaps or fetches which was actually fairly strong, managed to get to like 3-3 iirc but lost my last chance at day 2 to a Tron deck in game 3 because I got greedy and didn't hold up Hurkyl's when it would have won me the game (I think my Swiftspear was lethal without a blocker), and they had the Wurmcoil to punish it. I played out the rest of the day and lost to all the weird off-meta decks in the X-4+ bracket until the last round, where I beat a super fun guy playing a deck that I remember doing literally nothing. Was my first tournament and a very fond memory.
I voted for both when they came up, but the other decks were far more powerful. Honestly, Affinity is probably a Swiss exit anyway, but Twin absolutely could have won rounds. I doubt it makes it very far with the busted stuff other decks would be doing, but it would at least be a nice deck to have seen in Swiss.
