Most of these can also be removed by the cleanser booster. Bleeding can also be removed by eating astera jerky or a steak. And stun can be shortened by quickly tapping the left stick side to side.
Completely neglect to mention that there is a charm, mantle, and a jewel to negate every one of these. More people should consider their builds for particular monsters rather than making attack builds. Sometimes being in the fight longer is more effective than hitting harder.
100%, i've always gone with more defensive builds specific to one monster or "family" of monsters, in my case it's worked out better than going for straight attack/glass cannon. but i guess different strokes for different folks?
Did everyone just not see the GIANT SPINNING CONTROL STICK when they were stunned the first time? Or hear the LOUD ANNOYING HANDLER shouting YOU ARE STUNNED, FIX THAT
There definitely needs to be more monsters that inflict Ice, Thunder, and Water blight in later updates or DLCs for variety. I know the other version of Kirin is coming at a later date, but we can all agree to say "Fuck That Guy."
should be important to note if your on fire if you roll into a puddle of water it puts out the fire in one roll vs 3. very situational but it comes in very handy when the opportunity is there.
Bleeding can also be removed by using Astera Jerky. Also, rolling once over a water source will remove fire blight (though if it is too shallow, this may not work).
Stun duration can be reduced by mashing buttons and directions. Think of it as stun in Street figther which is ironically made by the same company who made Monhun.
Duuude thank you! I miss the slime effect from mh3. And hope they bring it back but rework it so it's not the same or practically the same as blast. Make slime a unique effect. And bring back soiled and muddy
Fariko Wishless never thought of it that way...I suppose it is basically the same. It definitely looks cooler then what muddy usually is like in mh3. But maybe I just like effect because it's covers you in mud. Which makes your character all brown and goopy. I'm an odd one I know. I like some status effects in games even though they are usually bad, for example I sometimes try to have low damaging poison effects in World of Warcraft because it makes my character glow green. I don't know why I think it's cool I just do :)
Fariko Wishless best the story close to a month ago. Even though I had it or purchased but due to business it took me a while. Lately I've just been grinding up Hr and trying to make a set of armor every couple days
You missed out quite a few things. You should mention a list of monsters that give the corresponding blight. For example teostra can give blast blight, effluvial blight can be given to u if you get hit by those birds/girros that have the blight themselves around the rotten vale, as ppl have mentioned already, jerky for bleeding, and also dragon blight makes u take more dragon damage. For example xeno's laser beam, if u get hit by that with dragon blight on, ur gonna get 1 hit (assuming ur the HR15 peeps, im not sure on higher rank hunters where they get better resistance gear)
I'm sorry you're correct 20 is actually what prevents all the blights from happening! And no blast actually counts as an abnormal status effect and not an element.
One time I was seeing Kirin for the first time thought it’d be easy because of the size I then got hit by one of the lighting bolts hit by Kirin right after stunned at half health hit by another lightning bolt paralyzed at critical health not lying about this then died by either them hitting me or another lightning bolt
Dual blades+resusitate+poisoned/defence down+recovery speed/astera jerky heal build???? (could be good for pukei & rath family or poison cups in the ancient forest or when you get spit on by ) maybe mix in bazelgeuse's guts armor skill and vitality gems for some sustainability. Or have a Healer using wide range with astera jerky & heals. Stack with stamina skills/dash juice to never leave demon mode.
I have a question, I've got the Effluvium Expert perk on my mail, and am going to fight Val Hazaak soon. Can you negate his blight with the perk or does it only prevent health depletion in Effluvium?
How much does Blight resistance protect against these statuses? I had a lvl 3 blight resistance and fought against Teostra and I still got blown up by that explosive blight
Dragon blight also affects affinity, also astera jerky for bleed removal not null berry, effluvium can also be prevented with level 3 resistance to effluvium,
Most of these can also be removed by the cleanser booster. Bleeding can also be removed by eating astera jerky or a steak. And stun can be shortened by quickly tapping the left stick side to side.
Lucent V ll
Fire Blight can also be insta cured by rolling through water, no matter how deep
Oh, and stun occurs with quick successive hits, or Tizya-ku's flash
Lucent V Also, you can eat the sushi fish's fin, which heals you a bit and cures bleed instantly.
Lucent V rathian And rathalos also cause poison
"There is going to be elder dragon spoilers in this video, but I'll try to keep it as minimal as possible" - shows Xeno'jiiva
Ex Nvsqvam he said he's going to keep it as minimal as possible so why would he use this elderdragon? He could've used deviljo for the debuff
Yeah it’s funny when he said to a minimal and showed that I didn’t think it was gonna have Xeno in it but there was a warning
Mate I've been looking for someone to do a deep dive into the various status and elemental effects. Immediate sub

At 4:00, stun can be removed faster by rotating your left stick quickly in a circle.
Did everyone just not see the GIANT SPINNING CONTROL STICK when they were stunned the first time? Or hear the LOUD ANNOYING HANDLER shouting YOU ARE STUNNED, FIX THAT
I just bash the buttons it helps too
Another easy solution to iceblight is the resuscitate skill. It completely nullifies the negative effects and buffs your evasion.
1:55 a powerful beam that can wipe anything from exsistance, LETS DIVE RIGHT IT😂😂😂
I frames defy physics
There definitely needs to be more monsters that inflict Ice, Thunder, and Water blight in later updates or DLCs for variety. I know the other version of Kirin is coming at a later date, but we can all agree to say "Fuck That Guy."
It's really situational, but the fire blight can also be removed in one roll if you roll through water.
Also forgot to mention that elemental resistance >20 makes you immune to the respective blight
Sushi fish scales cure bleeding, saved me the first time I fought Odogaron.
I beat him first hunt, but I did cart twice because I didn't know how to cure bleed and was just chugging potions.
should be important to note if your on fire if you roll into a puddle of water it puts out the fire in one roll vs 3. very situational but it comes in very handy when the opportunity is there.
Teaostra also gives blastblight if you stand in his fire dust too long and vaal hazak uses effluvium to give the debuff
Bleeding can also be removed by using Astera Jerky. Also, rolling once over a water source will remove fire blight (though if it is too shallow, this may not work).
There is a cure for each blight. Sushifish scale to cure bleeding for instance. A lot of partial information here
Very informative. Well done Sir. 👌

Mudshrooze Muddy is barroth ball right? Isnt that technically still here you just get stuck in it rather than it being stuck on you?

Mudshrooze Auras are always badass lol poisoning yourself to have one though 😂 First time I heard of it.
Fariko Wishless yeah I'm a wierdy :)

*Laughs in crisis jewel*
PFFFT! What Ice blight?
Why you no mention astera jerky?
well that will help me not get blown up anymore but i could have sworn i was rolling with that blight and it would not go away
Regarding paralysis if you mash every button on your controller really quickly or one of the c-sticks really quickly this can shorten paralysis.
Great and detailed video man
Stun can be removed faster if you spin or flick the movement stick side to side
Also to get rid of the fire blight you can roll in a pool of water =)
well that is depend on the map, since not like you have any drop of water in Xeno's fight.
Asters jerky stops bleed! That's important!
You can eat sushifish scales to cure bleeding.
You can get out of a stun by spamming left and right with the left analog stick.
Also you can eat astea jerky to cure bleed damage

Pretty sure uppercuts are the only way team mates can knock you out of paralysis
Beside cleanser booster, the bleeding can be stopped by eating meat
u can recover from stun faster by circling your controller on previous mh games, not sure on mhw
Also if you get your Elemental resistance to 20 or higher it negates the blights of that specific element.
It seems like 20 into fire resist I wont get burned anymore. Is blast blight fire related? if I have 25 into fire resist it prevents blast blight?
I'm sorry you're correct 20 is actually what prevents all the blights from happening! And no blast actually counts as an abnormal status effect and not an element.
Makes sense. Thank you.
You cannot be knocked out of paralysis by teammates. Damage, and palico are the only two ways that i know of to get rid of paralysis.
morgan bingamon you can be knocked out of it by teammates
You know, it very disappointing to not see any one mentioning astera jerkey
One time I was seeing Kirin for the first time thought it’d be easy because of the size I then got hit by one of the lighting bolts hit by Kirin right after stunned at half health hit by another lightning bolt paralyzed at critical health not lying about this then died by either them hitting me or another lightning bolt

That’s Why I keep my immunity mantle on deck
I use the null berry for the wrong blights except vaal's blight
Still waiting for character status effects video...
I have a question, I've got the Effluvium Expert perk on my mail, and am going to fight Val Hazaak soon. Can you negate his blight with the perk or does it only prevent health depletion in Effluvium?
nope, it only make u immune effluvial damage, if u want to negate its effect, use miasma jewel
Bleeding.. Just crouch for like 5 seconds don't have to consume anything
1:59 Says the name then doesn't know the name lmao
3:55 which armor hes using ?
Bleed can also be cured by using Jerky
Edit* never mind you got it pinned lol
Quick question: do gun Lance shelling attacks, wyrmstake, or wyrenfire take advantage of the weapons Elemental damage?
Nostalgia_Pie
No, they do fixed damage
Is artillery the only damage booster for Shell attacks?
How much does Blight resistance protect against these statuses? I had a lvl 3 blight resistance and fought against Teostra and I still got blown up by that explosive blight
white0thunder white0thunder Blight resistance prevents elemental blight only but not abnormal statuses like poison or blast
Dragon blight also affects affinity, also astera jerky for bleed removal not null berry, effluvium can also be prevented with level 3 resistance to effluvium,
Thunder Catz Wasn't affinity just in mh3?
That is a mh 3 OG only thing it did not even affect Elemental in that game
Does Stun count as an Abnormal Status on monsters for Skill use?
no only poison sleep para and blast do you are looking for slugger
is this scarce in secret?
If stun is a blight, can I be immune to it if I have 3 points into resist blights?
I want to know too.
I'm pretty sure it only covers Fire/Ice/Water/Thunder/Dragonblight.
You called Teostra Xeno Jiiva.. twice.
But who cares, minor mistake.. good job everywhere else!
I got negate all blights and still get poisoned
JetBlackThreat that’s because poison is technically a abnormal status effect.
