Just to say, if you want to check the fan isn't seized up, press the right hand button below the speed setting dial, (the one that keeps air circulating inside the car rather than air coming in from outside), if that's working it will open up the top of the fan and you can get your fingers in and spin it. Mine stopped completely, the resister was good, but did this and it all came back to life!
Just replaced mine alongside your video (vauxhall combo AC 2011) can't thank you enough. Just wish I'd checked RUclips before pulling the radio and centre console out! Hahahaha. All fixed and back together though. Battled with only setting four for a full year. Can't believe it was a £10 fix
It definitely failed, otherwise settings 1-3 would of worked as it was still plugged in. It overheated and failed as it wasn’t getting cooled by the flow of air. Good thing it was an easy fix 👍
Those missing screw from a previous gremlin is more than dodgy, one want to cut the breaks of part fitters that collect screws so things break easier , shiity bastards.

Any idea when the blowers aren't working at all? Still changed the resistor and no joy..
Just going to order one now, you don’t even have to remove the glove box just the 2 screws on the kick plate
