I am pansexual, and I am super scared to tell my mom and dad because I am afraid that they won't accept me. My mom doesn't make a big deal over people that are not straight but my dad and my grandfather always make fun of gays, lesbians, and whoever is not straight. The only people who know about my sexuality are my friends and my little sister. I am twenty three, and I still have yet to come out to my parents or grandparents. The youtube comments are the only places that I can vent, but that may come to an end if congress does something with net neutrality.

Scarlet Gamer100 that’s sounds rough but I’m sure that everything will work out, I have a friend that is pansexual and she is going through depression because she doesn’t want to tell her parents and she thinks they won’t accept her aswell, she is actually 12 and that is such a young age for her mind of scuicidal thoughts, I just want to let you know that your not alone, I know this is RUclips a public place with public comments and much more but it’s better for me to tell you this then leave you hanging I’m actually 11 and trust me even though I haven’t experienced it I know people who have and they’ve made the wrong decisions with it, don’t be afraid to go ahead and tell them, I’m sure they will understand and even if they don’t it doesn’t mean they won’t love you anymore it just means they disagree with some aspects because not everyone is going to ship the same things as you I mean I think bieng LGBT 🏳️🌈 is perfectly fine and actually kind of beautiful but I’m straight and some of my friends are homophobic or other thing like it but I don’t listen to them because they have there own opinions and so do I. They have to accept you now matter what and it will probably just be hard for them so maybe give them some time and then tell them and then go live your life I’m sure they will be alright and happy for you even if it hurts them because your their daughter/son or nephew/niece ❤️🌍

For everyone saying they relate, if you truly do, I want you all to watch this and come to the realization that you truly are not alone. There are so many people out there right now cheering you on, although they don't even know you. You may think they don't mean it but why would they say such things if they did not? I want you to all understand that I've cried over complete strangers' suicides in my area. What makes it worse is I can understand what drove them to such a point. I can't say I've been in your shoes, because I have not. However, I want you to know I've experienced my own suffering and my own problems. We may not know each other, if you are reading my comment right now. But out of whatever you're doing, I hope it's being proud of yourself. Be proud you've come this far. Be proud you're alive. Be proud of how beautiful you are inside and out. Male or female, transgender or genderfluid, black, blue, green, purple, polka dotted, etc. You're special. You have meaning, you have a purpose. And you're not alone, either. The topic of depression has become so strong that so many people are noticing whether they've experienced it or not. And they all want you to live on. They're all telling you to be strong. And that you are worth it. When you look in the mirror I don't want you to hate what you see. I want you to think of what you've accomplished so far and think, "Man, I did that." Whether it be living up to this point or graduating from one point to another, you did it. You're here, reading my thoughts put onto a screen, and there's a reason for that. You're supposed to be here. You're not a mistake, you're not wrong, you're not a waste. You're you. Holy cow... this is so emotional... For the first minute or so I was trying to interpret what this vent was about, and when I got it I totally understood. (SORRY IF THIS ISNT WHAT THIS VENT WAS ABOUT, THIS IS JUST HOW I INTERPRETED IT AND MY OPINION ON IT) People these days are so set on making people believe being gay/lesbian is so bad, when in reality, it's really not, and people shouldn't be so harsh on someone who is gay or lesbian. My best friend is lesbian, and I accept her. I don't understand how people can't accept that.

Most adults have grown up in the time where beings lesbian or gay meant getting killed, then passed that fact down to their kids and their kid's kids. Personally, *this doesn't matter and I don't expect anyone to care* but I am straight. I have no problem with the LGBTQ community.
Personal opinion incoming! It's normal for the human mind to fear what they can't understand. Truly understanding someones mind in itself is very hard to do. So I believe, that it has something to do with fear of the unknown. Maybe fear isn't the right word, maybe something like believing that one way is the only way, but then again, wouldn't that also be a kind of fear? The fear of change, the fear doing something wrong perhaps? Some people bring the Bible into this whole mess and say that it forbids homosexual relationships, and in a way, I can partly understand, because it does. Well it does to the people who never ask "why", to the people who never look past what they are expected to believe. And those people will never see that the Bible is dead, it has been changed so often that we can't be sure what's true and what's not. But there is one rule, one rule I can guarantee is real, we should love and appreciate the people around us, no matter what. I just wish more Christians would realize this........
And I wish it was just Christians who are homophobic. I can't understand why people hate homosexuals for no reason. Maybe it's just what I said before, but it's impossible to know. And sadly, most of them don't know their motives either. So it's practically impossible for them to change their mind.

I feel the same. I loved a girl I never met in real life. Met her over a video game. I told my brother and he found out i was bisexual. I told him not to tell mom but we got in a fight and he did. I was afraid my mom would tell my family. I knew she hated that stuff. Every night I cry and I watch this animation. I had to lie to my mom telling her I wasn't. I didn't know I was bisexual until my age now. No one knows(besides my snitch brother👿)not my friends or rest of my family. My mom didn't believe I was bisexual. I joked around with my friends saying if my crush hurted my heart again I would turn bisexual and one ran off laughing and the other said "If you become that I won't be your friend anymore" but they thought I was joking but it hurt cause I kinda wasn't in my heart. The girl I liked is bisexual, she has a girlfriend. We are all friends. I love her still but she likes her girlfriend and my friend. She noticed I was lonely I guess cause she came to me and said "I have a sister who also bisexual too. She is also lonely." I went to meet her and she is actually fun. I hope she stays with me. I can never tell my friends or family I'm bisexual or i will probably be bullied more. I love this animation, nice work my friend. You just got a like and a new subscriber. I'm pan. It's normal at my school to be a part of the lgbtq+ community. But my grandma hates the lgbt community. She's the closest person to me in my family. I can relate to you and a lot of other people. When I was younger I would cry myself to sleep every night because at one of my old schools it was weird and you would be bullied for it. So I never told anyone. Balling my eyes out and going to school the next day with a smile on my face. I have no confidence, no self worth, because of that school. At the time I was in first and second grade/year. I only had one friend and she was an outcast. I'm now working on my anxiety, self worth, and confidence. I'm a single pringle but I have a friend that has a crush on me and I'm thinking about asking him out.

I love my girlfriend so much, and I can't say I can relate to this video, because my mom and almost everyone I know/am close to or friends with supports my relationship. But her, on the other hand, can't tell too many people in her town because of all of the people who wouldn't agree with it since she comes from a Christian family and she knows her mom wouldn't agree with us either. I just hope to some day be able to finally hold her and be with her, and forget about all of the discrimination. I'm lucky to have a mother that supports me too and doesn't judge me for being pan, dating a girl, questioning my gender, etc.
I'm very sorry to everyone out there who has to deal with hiding their love for someone because of a homophobic family. Just know you're not alone. There are many people who are afraid to come out. People who are forced out of their homes for being homosexual.. it's not okay for people to do that. Just know that you're loved very much by someone out there, and we are all in this together.

I am lesbian. I live in an area that's really lgbtq friendly and my whole family and all my friends accept me. It's actually considered weird and abnormal to be homophobic where I live.
And I just hear all these stories. It's just awful. I wish I could be there for EVERYONE that is shunned, bullied, disowned, kicked out, beaten and more for being lgbt. I just wish I could give them all a hug, let them know that not everyone hates them. That you AREN'T a freak, or abnormal or that God hates you. Because none of that is true.
There are people just like you out there. We are born like this, without a choice. And anyone who says otherwise is just kidding themselves. We are amazing and beautiful people and we all deserve to live and be and love who we want and be who we want. I honestly cry sometimes thinking about how many kids get kicked out of their homes. I've had so many people say mean things to me on the internet. It just saddens me that those assholes who just make everything worse exist.

I told my mother I was lesbian and I thought she would be disappointed, because I’m the most imperfect person ever. I have depression, ADHD, anxiety, and I’m bipolar. She accepted it and said it wouldn’t change her view of me in any way, but knowing her... she did sound a bit disappointed. I then started school and made some new friends. My two best friends were a girl and a boy in my class. Turns out they are both bisexual too. Somehow word got round the class that I’m not straight. When people asked me if it was true, as if I were some rare creature they just discovered, I said yes. I also told them if they made fun of any homosexuals, they would have to deal with me, and to choose their words carefully when they are around me. I now have a crush on my best friend who is a girl. If this gets 15 likes, I’ll tell her.

I loved my secrets. They crept me warm at night when the cold pinched at my toes and feet. They made me feel whole... or at least as much as it could. My secrets were like a second heart in my chest. I let my friends individually poke a toothpick in it, but not too far to were it splits me in half. The secrets were the only comfort I had when I craved loved when I was alone in bed. Then..... the person I hated the most.... the one that made me feel bad, that made me who I am, the one that I would let die.... ripped me in half. They took my phone and went on a wed site that is very dear to me. I loved it. I could be myself with no worries. They read EVERYTHING. She took that heart and smashed it into dust. Then through the dust into the wall of lava around my first heart. Anger. Anger is what they through it into. I acted natural..... but I cried a week later when it really hit me. I no longer have that app.... I no longer feel that second heart beating. All day the day after that, violent twitches when I imagined violent things I could do to them. I wanted to through a computer and rip out the keys. I wanted to bash their head in and rip their skin off. I still do...
Please tell me where my second heart is.... please make me a new one. I feel empty again. I need someone to cuddle with at night now that my secrets are gone. Help .

I'm not a lesbian, but I am bisexual. I've been one for three years and I'm planning on telling my parents this Christmas. My parents accept anyone who is gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, anything really, but it's my grandparents I'm worried about... They are deep into Christianity, I'm a Christian too, but they don't support the lgbt community.. One time, I was watching a couple of TV shows with my grandpa, and when two gay characters popped up, he just had this look of disgust on his face, and I had to leave the room. I'm just praying to high heaven that they don't find out, or they'll shut me out for good and I won't be their dear granddaughter anymore. I don't want to lose two people so dear to me. Also, to anyone else who's struggling, just remember that you're not alone. You are you, you're beautiful, and nobody should tell you otherwise. Have a wonderful day.
Edit: My mom knows. She said she was okay with it, but literally a day before I was going to go spend the night with my grandparents, she called them, crying her eyes out. She told them behind my back, and I'm fucking furious. My grandma started preaching to me in her truck saying "Homosexuality is wrong" and straight up saying "I'll go to hell." She said shes not trying to scare me and is not judging me, but that's bullshit and even she knows it. I did not speak to her in the truck for two hours. I couldn't even look at her. She even said that my mom told her "Half of her friends are gay, lesbian, and bisexual so I'm afraid she thinks she's bi because of that." That has to be the dumbest shit I've ever heard in my life. She twisted my words. I'm bisexual because love guys and girls, not because of my friends being lgbt.. I don't think i can ever forgive them for this. And you wanna know something funny? My mom has friends who are lgbt, yet she's not okay with her own daughter being bisexual. Hypocrisy at it's finest.

This pretty much explains my life. The only thing I have is my online friends. No one here really likes me, they're all fake and they all don't actually care about me. Always hitting me with their insults and such. I've really have loved and lost everything. All I have is my online friends and it makes me sad and happy at the same time. I was genuinely lucky with who I ended up with. I have a little bubble around me of people who love and support me, all I’ve really done is stay inside that bubble my entire life. I had it so much better than so many other children, I may have been abused as a child, I may of had mental interruptions and years of therapeutic sessions. But now I’m here and I’m writing this. I’m a butch lesbian who’s been supported by my friends and parents my entire life. I call these people “ My bubble “. What’s odd is everyone outside my bubble is the opposite of supportive.
I live in a community surrounded by homophobic, racist and upsetting communities around it. What I love about my bubble is no one outside knows about it. That’s my only worry, the ones outside my bubble finding out, family, friendly aquatints.

The first time I watched this I cried because I could relate so much. I was a closeted bisexual at the time and I knew my family's views on the lgbtq+ community was negative and I thought that they would disown and reject me if I told them.. So I stayed in the closet until last year. I walked into my mom's office and said," Hello, I'm bisexual.. I'm going to make a sandwich now. " and walked out again. Everyone who lives in my house knows that I'm bi. Since my parents are divorced I haven't told my dad or anyone in his house because they are all so so soooo homophobic.. and If I'm being honest I don't think I'll ever come out to them.. but yea, I really like the art and expression in the vid and it truly hits home for me👌👌

The thing that makes this a meaningful animation is that I have 2 depressed friends. One used to cut her arms all the way to her elbow and the other has attempted suicide. The one with attempted suicide has sat on her bed with a knife and a note to her parents. The one who used to cut herself has parents who hate people who cut themselves, not the cutting but they say that people only cut themselves because they want attention. I’ve lost someone that I miss dearly. I wake up each morning and they’re always on my mind. I always think about how I could’ve been different, and how I could’ve made every second count. 2 years is far from now, and I’m struggling to not doubt that they will move on from me. But let me tell you, have hope. Have hope and try to live it positive. No matter how hard it seems, just try and see silver lining. Because we’re all going to make it to the end of the railroad someday. And the tunnel will suddenly become brighter. Just have hope and little things will start to become okay.

I found out I liked girls not to long ago and my parents accepted me but I lost some friends because of it, I had a friend sorta that I would help if she was down and once she heard rumours she started to hate me and call me ugly and not want to look at me and asked the grossest stupidest questions to ask to a 12 year old.

I can kinda relate to this song because I dated this guy and we loved each other well it seemed that way but then he stopped telling me he loved me and started ditching me to play football but I still loved this dude and now I don’t understand why I didn’t break up with him.....but then he broke up with me And I felt so broke in side but I started dating this other person and he really does love me and I realized that the other dude didn’t give a crap about me or my feelings and I’m glad I’m dating someone who truly cares and loves me. I’m so grateful for that.
