Ever wonder why your Audi Q5 hugs the road even when cornering at high speeds? Say thank you to your German engineered, eight-armed suspension. When the control arms start to fail, CarHavn is here to help.
The same idea applies to most Audi sedans and SUVs - the design principles are very similar.

I installed the Meyle HD control arm 10 piece kit on my 2015 Audi Q5. Was very happy with the improved ride !!
They are great!
Nice video. But my sq5 busting is fine but still has squeak sound. And today it has warning says suspension malfunction you may still driving. Do you know anything about this?
The advice we always offer is to find a trusted local Euro mechanic. Every situation is a little different. If you’re local to us in CT we’ll be glad to offer an appointment, our info is in the description.
Hope this helps!
Can you buy just the bushing only?
Yes but you have to press the bushings out and the new ones back in which requires removal of the whole arm anyway so it's better to just replace the whole part in my experience.
yesterday i did it and i can say that you can save a lot of money with the same result, its good to have someone to help because its not easy to do this alone, especially with the press. For upper 4 parts i paid only 30$ in total OEM parts lemforder, 2x hydro bearings 55$, and 4 next bearings around 15$ each. So in total i paid only around 160$ where the lower lemforder wishbone costs around 120$ for just one part.
This is correct.
While it's possible, we prefer the control arms. Even though we are a professional shop, we almost had a safety incident with the press a while ago. Saving a few bucks is not worth the risk to me as a shop owner.
Harsher ride?
Not really - firmer. We are just bringing it back to what it was designed to feel like.
@carhavneurotech i did the mistake to to install HD bushings a year ago. I returned back to stock. Now stock feels little bit loose, so I bought all arm HD kit without install it. I wish there was something between those two situations. I don't know what to do. I also have b6 bilstein installed already.
