Of course, but there are electrical securities in the IR receiver, the li-battery which cut the electricity when they are too hot. As I've never had the cutting problem, I think that I use the RC as it has to be used :)
And i'm not a crazy guy, I pay attention to this and I stop playing before it is too hot ;)

The RC motor is very fast (1000-1300 rpm) but not so strong ;)
I think the parts are able to support this strength. There is only a 12t-20t reduction in the driveline, the strength isn't so much heitened. I've never broken any part with the RC (but with a XL motor, that already happened) :)

Can I try and replicate this model for myself? I think it wouldn't be that hard to build and have a blast driving it around!
- That is once I can aquire a LIPO BB Box for cheap...ugh

isnt that motor too strong for the buggy? doesnt it bend and twist and wear the parts? Dont the parts get very used and wear very fast?

When I speed up, i put the multiplication factor on the video, when there is nothing it's 1:1 speed ! And Yes, it's faaaast ! And fun :)
