This is very very cool! Have you had any problems with a sync using MPC One? I have constant problems as from time to time one of the SC6000’s does not want to sync with other player anymore. Sync button flashes and once you push that, main player makes short jump to higher or slower speed. I cannot figure it out what’s causing it.
Hi chief - thanks for the comment. Interesting because I’ve had that happen even when sync wasn’t on. I had key lock turned off and the pitch set as wide as it could go so I could tighten a loop and increased the pitch of the sound. Once I had finished that transition if I didn’t reset the deck, with the increased pitch, in a certain order it would cause the playing deck to speed up to the higher bpm - without sync on 🤷🏽♂️ I took it as one of the qwirks of the technology
Hi Todd. No, although I tried it at first then realised because I always play at 128 that I didn’t need it. I think if I was changing up and down bpm and it tracked that it would be massively helpful. What I would really love to be able to do is to nudge the looped sound on the MPC as if it was a player, instead I have to think of that as static and nudge everything else in time with it - no biggie but it would be useful :)
Ridiculous!!!! Love that! 🤙
🔥🔥🔥🤘
Vibes!
Thanks - it’s so much fun

Are you using Ableton Link ? It will sync your Prime Gear with the MPC Studio.
