That #11 should be retired along with 12 and 87.
No
Only 12 should be retired. Edelman was a very good receiver and that’s it. Clutch in crucial moments, I’ll give you that.
12 and 87 yes because I don’t care where they are playing the shadow on those numbers too big imagine if a corner back got 12
I love when Julian said, 'I needed that, I was a punk.' A father knew his son, and the results cannot be argued. Good on you Poppa Edelman, and Julian for acknowledging that it worked.
This is awesome. My dad was the same
All he knew was tough tough love and that’s how he showed his love to me.
I had issues with expressing my anger physically with my father as a kid. If he had punched me in the face during those bouts of anger, I would be a mental case right now probably serving prison time.
Edelman turned out well because of the positive traits his father instilled in him, not because his dad clocked him at 13 during an adolescent fit of rage.
So many kids I knew in high school had fathers with that kind of attitude as a kid and they are now angry screw ups. For every Julian Edelman, there’s 100,000 angry alcoholic jerks with daddy issues out there.
Hahaha!!! Did he just say my dad hit me with a two piece??? 💪🤣🤣🤣
Great story Patriots Legend
I see they posted a handful of videos but will they post the full version?
I second this comment
its in the playlist "a football life" on this channel
@@longjohn7289 no it’s not. There is 67 videos in that playlist and only the clips are there.
I love Edelman’s dad 😂
This guy a perfect example of you can do anything love you, Julian. Thanks for all the Sundays I got to spend with my dad before he left this world.
😢 RIP to your dad
Absolute legend
We all miss you 💔💔 What a great show, he really is a Patriots Legend 👏👏
his dad seems like a less strict version of my dad. love it.
For the people thinking "you know, his dad didnt need to be that tough on him". And maybe you're right, but Julian "didnt need to" play in the NFL either as an undersized WR.
Pressure and stress creates diamonds.
Huge Frank Edleman fan
watching films of 12 years old kids....
Need the full episode man
I miss the you man 😢😢
great family, great values.
My father would wake up around 10-11am on a Day off in a bad mood... You knew not to speak to him for the first hour at least.
Then my dad would proceed to drink Rum/Coke, smoke herb, cigs and snort blow for the next 12-14 hours.... He's mention going to the Park to for baseball/hoops, but that would rarely happen. ( We lived around the corner from the Park )
Edelman's coach and dad seem cool tho
Thank you Frank
why do his siblings have different last names ? !
Marriage lol
@@jayrich1609 The woman yeah, but the guy? lol
@@manhalen7046some men take their wife's last name
@@Liface Getthafuqouttahere, 😆
Imagine telling a 12 year old to break someone’s neck when you have them down. Yikes
Real love
Why they all got different last names lol his siblings
They’re probably liberals and took their wife’s last name
because they’re engaged
You got to realize to make at that high of level playing football somebody needs to be tough on you and push you
Right, but there’s a difference between being tough and being abusive. For every JE success story, there’s a million horror stories.
I love it
We need Edelman competitiveness in bucs team.
He charged the mound on his dad who was pitching?????? JEEZ!!!!
🤣 21 savage
Hey Edelnut, get my hot tub about 103 and my Gatorade.
Why is his brothers last name Rodriguez ?
I was wondering that too, lol
I think Julian Edelman is an incredible man first and then an incredible human being whomplayed football perfectly
This is the shortest episode I've seen.
😂😂😂😂😂 bro got laid out by pops
that batting practice story is hilarious
Who here after IG?
I live in redwood city too! And I’m trying to convince my parents to let me play for RC
0:55 better watch how you say that your dad might end up in jail
The father is really walking a fine line here between tough love and domestic violence.
Nah your just retarded. This is how u make kids warriors.. and understand the gratifications of failure and how it can be used against another. The kid was old enough to hold his own… the father needs to reassure power to his son. This is life if a kid thinks he has power over his father than all hell breaks loose. This is why ur sitting on a couch doing nothing with ur life while this guy made millions by relentless determination due to grit
Laughable all the single mother raised people who failed in life men father's to back off can't name one great person that didn't have a father the Williams sisters Jackson 5 the ball brothers shocker all made it to the league because that's how important men are in rasing kids
For real. Wasn’t really a funny story. The dude threw at his own kid then gave him a Nolan Ryan-style beating on the mound.
Not even close to domestic violence. He didn’t beat the kid everyday, he didn’t make him feel less, he taught him a lesson. You want to charge the big dawg, you get bit. This is something these generations nowadays lack. If you look at their relationship now it shows you that it worked.
That’s probably why none of you are in the pros at anything… softer than baby sh!T
Does anyone know where I can watch the entire football life of my boy?
PEDelman 🤡🤡🤡
as you're typing at home lmaoo
@@felipebarria5491 should I be taking performance enhancing drugs and catching footballs too?
That's the way we learned? What?! By being abusive?! I sincerely hope that Julian doesn't treat his daughter that way. If I'm the mother of his daughter, I'm keeping a CLOSE eye on her when she's around Julian and his family. God bless.
They really gave this bum an episode lmaooooooo
He was a Super Bowl mvp and he as clutch
@@Phoneybeetlemaniacxs He's a bum. Doesn't deserve an episode.
@@Phoneybeetlemaniacxs Sony Michel should’ve been the superbowl mvp absolutely egregious call giving to edelman
If ALL dads were like him and my Father there would be NO such thing as men identifying as women and vice versa
yet another tale of "is this abuse or what?"
MAGA and right wing Christians have forgotten that being tough on a kid, and abusing a kid, these are two different things, and you'll get two very different results.
