I have heard Shreya. She sounds no different compared to the studio version. The difference is mostly the reverb. The difference is extremely insignificant.
the story behind shreya ghoshal recording the song sun raha haina tu-
back then, she went to the studio she learned the tune and sang the song in her way, the way she has sung in this reality show or in any live concert but then she was again called by the director and asked her to simplify the song and redo the song in way ligher tone and no improvisations at all because the female lead in the movie is a singer who basically sings in bar/shows and is not learned hence shreya redid and simplified the song thats why there is difference between her recorded song and her any live performance of the same song apart from post production and other needed technical aspect.
We would have loved to hear that version ❤❤❤
i have attended palak Mucchal live show free as i was studying in Allen and she passed out from there and she came back for the show .. she is really great and awesome

Please check out "Mere dholna sun" by Shreya Ghoshal and MG Sreekumar from the movie Bhool Bhulaiyaa 1. It is an outstanding song in terms of classical singing and dancing...and music as well. It shouldn't be missed.

Arijit Singh sang Bengali songs prior to his bollywood debut. Check out Bojhena She Bojhena by him, he is in the mv tho and that's very much rare( he was kinda forced by the Director) Also Check out his works in his own record label ORIYON MUSIC. He has released few singles of his(not movie music) which you guys haven't heard.

Biggest difference is, all the so called non autotune/real voice capture has been done by really shitty mic. We would have a bit better level of understanding if real comparison was done/available in controlled (sound proof, optimal acoustics) studio atmosphere. You can't expect a mobile phone which generally has very sub par mics to capture the real life voice of a singer/person.

I haven't seen Arijit perform live and I want to so badly. From all the videos that I've watched of him performing live, are mesmerizing. Another great live performer and probably one of the best in India is Diljit Dosanjh and he's doing his world tour right now. He performs in the UK in August. Do watch him if you can, you won't ever forget the experience, trust me.

Credit where credit is due. But also, guru randhawa can't really sing live. He is a hit making machine, but he needs the studio to make it sounds good. All the others were pretty good, with some being exceptional
