    Can I confirm that if I bought a resale HDB, I cannot invest in 2nd property within 5 years? Local and overseas? Do we need to report if I purchase property in overseas?

      Yes you can not invest 2nd property both local and overseas.

      actually it is qte subjective. if you had bought your resale HDB outright (fully paid) or have most of the loan paid up, you can WRITE in to HDB for approval. You can always consult a lawyer.

    Hi, I just spoke to HDB, they mentioned it is possible to have an owner and an occupier (similarly to decoupling). May I ask why the video states otherwise? Did I miss something out?
