Nikhil is miles ahead of other podcasters in terms of understanding what the audience are looking for. He may not be an expert in the subject itself but hes a master of getting information/knowledge out of his guests.
When he stopped Varun on multiple occasions to explain and disect everything he was saying, from whats a gpt to whats chat gpt to whats a transformer etc, he essentially read our minds..we were four of us listening to it together and he literally kept asking the questions we had!
Dumbing it down is so so important when it comes to subjects like these.
Keep up the fantastic work Nikhil and keep asking questions even if it gets a little too much.

He actually didn't do that good of a job because he kept using very technical terms and it was Nikhil who kept "double clicking" for him to explain those terms.
Varun should have realized that he is not really talking to Nikhil, but disseminating complex information to lay audience of the podcast; Nikhil probably knows all that stuff already. This is missing higher order thinking and usually typical of junior software engineers -- they're excellent technically but don't have the thought framework to understand why they're doing what they're doing or to present information at the right level of resolution. It usually comes with experience.
