The sad part is that an Avatar game can actually be amazing if executed the right way. More in-depth animations, moving cutscenes, emphasis on different attack moves using different bending styles etc. It has potential to be an amazing game.
I mean, you can say that a game about literally *_anything_* could be "amazing if executed the right way"...because if it's executed the _'right way',_ it would always be a good game-- which this was not. They've made multiple games where the only thing you do is *literal chores & heavy labor,* and people absolutely love them.

Warner Bros. is making Kong movies now, their iteration of Kong is definitely copyrighted, but you get all like comic books and cartoons about Kong that are "based on the novel" I believe (again, it's kind of funky, I don't quite understand it, but GameMill definitely didn't license King Kong from Universal or WB)
They're cheap and companies like Nickelodeon is looking at them saying that they can make a game way under budget and not caring about the actual content.
There actually was a decent ATLA game on PS2/Xbox/Wii back in the day. It was set like an RPG with each character having different skills to upgrade. It was very very simplified as far as rpg games go, but when I was a kid it was pretty cool to play.
In this day and age, a game like this should NOT be something a fan should debate on getting or not. This show is amazing and popular and needs a whole lot more effort put into it.
Imagine an open world Avatar game where you play as a new generation Avatar, with the long term quest being to Master the 4 elements, with lots of charming side quests comparable to the "filler" in the show
That one Korra game they don't sell anymor fulfills the "learning" part at least. You start out with no bending, because chi blockers, then remember the styles as it goes on, so long as you can do their little challenges

GameMill are a shovelware factory. It's honestly a miracle that the All Stars Brawl games are good since the Nick racing games are incredibly cookie cutter and are somehow at the upper end of the quality spectrum for them.
I accidentally found this page while looking up the walking dead game and now it's gotta be one my favorite channels hands down. I've been through more than half the back catalog and it's all amazing. You guys are hilarious. I usually hate the idea of watching other people play games especially while commentating but not this channel.

If someone made an effort Avatar could be the setting for one of the best games ever. because you could just make a combat system totally based on the detailed magic/martial arts system in the show. Especially liked how the elements were treated and how true to the story the game stayed...and yes even with ps2 graphics it looked better than the previous 2 Avatar games that came before it... The best thing with War Thunder is you get every other country's national secrets because their militaries can't stop posting them to the discord trying to correct inaccuracies with vehicles :v: It's basically a honeypot for court martial offenses.

Well GameMill is a publisher for one thing they don't make the games. They just hire other developers to do it for them. But yeah BamTeng made all of the Kart Raceers and Avatar. Kong was made by a different studio. As was Walking Dead. With All Star Brawl they actually decided to hire Ludosity who made the Ittle Dew series and more importantly Slap City. Teyon is a developer, though I guess for RoboCop and Terminator they had a patient publisher and the rights weren't running out (context: the license for Kong was going to run out for GameMill).

I got their Miraculous Ladybug game last Sunday for 10 bucks during steam sale. Average platforming and a bit wonky combat but the story was like something I'd expect from the show. Finished the story in about 4,5 hours so at least it got more gameplay than Modern Warfare 3s campaign For 10 bucks it was OK but don't pay more than this and especially not the full 50

As watered down as it was from Platinum’s other games, it did have their hack and slash style combat and just more polish than this.
