I’ve been stung. I recommend going back in the salty water and splashing as much on the sting and covering it in seaweed. All these items are available at the beach much unlike vinegar
I'm getting stung by multiple Jellyfishes a day. There's something in the Azov sea bringing the Jellyfishes (and their leftovers) float to the top. Whenever it gets into contact with saltwater, you basically turn the "stinging pain" button on. I always have to get out of water to make the pain less unbearable. Although there are a lot of them, there are only white and blue-ish Jellyfishes.
How is the sea now?

When I got stung my parents thought I was lying lol and when I came out everyone was like can I pee on it and I was like no and I used vinegar I was on a cruise too XD

David Alnemark Niang I'm I'm Aus and no there isn't maybe a couple snakes at the beach bt there's warning signs and it's not like there's crocs walking down the footpath and there pretty much never jelly fish and bluebottles when there specific direction of wind
I think i was 11, i was living the life at a beach Italy and when i jumped in the ocean i saw this huge jellyfish. Didnt sting me but just the thought of escaping hits me to this day.

Sometimes vinagar won’t work, depends on what jellyfish it is it works on most jellyfish like box jellyfish and many others but with some jellyfish putting it on the sting will just make everything worse.

I think this could be quite helpful because when I go to javea (Spain) next year there are quite a lot of jelly fish in the sea and if I do get stung by a jelly fish I know what to do
Yea I had a jelly fish sting too I cried so bad it wrapped it’s tentacles around me and I hardly could not walk but luckily they just sprayed white vinegar on me and I was fine for the next couple weeks

my family and i were down in orange beach last year - a popular site that has many jellies - and i got stuck five times in a day. the worse one i was swimming with a friend i met & a jelly wrapped around my legs & torso. the best thing to do if you get stung - in my opinion- is not scratch , but instead find a place where you can wash off sand from your body & jump in the pool if it’s available. the pool water will smooth the wound within 1-3 minutes.
Means how jelly fish hurt it grabs or what but jelly fish really hurt for every little moment??
I'm sorry but hot water and cold compress are not exactly easy to get on a beach, what other methods are there to relieve pain that are easier to find on a beach?

Got stung recently. My brother ran to the nearest cafe to get vinegar. My family did the exact same thing in this video except the hot water part. The pain lasted for hours. Now i have a stupid jellyfish sting scar on my leg and funny how now it starts to itch!!!
i got stung by a jellyfish when i was in spain but it looked nothing like that! it looked like a nettle sting. i had some allergy tablets and i was fine! i mean i still have a tEeny scar from about a year and a half ago but it didn’t really hurt that much!

Vinegar is common at big beaches with common jellyfish sightings, it is put at signs in marked areas, also never pee on a sting it makes it worse.

Ok if u want u can follow my steps on what to do
1.cover the area with the sitng with wet sand
2.next wash the sand off with cold water
3.get viniger or pee on ur self in this case i got viniger
4.then ur gonna soak the area in viniger or pee
5.in this case if u chose viniger put vin8ger on ur leg once a day for 2 or 3 days
6.if it gets itchy the next day u can lightly scratch it
Also this what i did when i got stung by a jellyfish in cuba so dont blame me if it dosent work bc it worked for me p.s i did not bring viniger at the resort there was some viniger and i used

i got stung really bad and we had nothing lmfao i guess i left the stingers in and a week later my legs were extremely itchy shaving my legs seemed to help.

I once had a jellyfish sting to but it wasn't that bad I had it while snorkeling the boat driver put on some vinegar I guess and I continued snorkeling
i got stung on my legs 1 feet tall and put vinegear i was crying (because i was eight but im nine now) and i waited a few minutes and its gone the only bad news is: its still kinda hurt and we put it in the sand for few seconds and no more, the stung is still there but after 24 hours is Gone! 😀

I got stung one by a Sea Nettle on my middle arm, it hurt like a butt cheek on a stick. I was crying the whole time at the beach and eventually I started throwing up and we had to call an ambulance :P
