- Welcome to Jason Does Things!
The beaches in my area have been fairly sanded in, so the wet sand hasn't been very generous. Therefore, I've been focusing more on areas of the dry sand, and today I decided to try my luck in and around the bonfire pits.
Anytime hunting the bonfire pits results in digging loads of garbage, especially can slaw, bottle caps and tons of pulltabs as well.
That's alright though, I scored a bit of jewelry early on and just kept pressing forward and I'd say it paid off!
Sure, it wasn't any precious metals, but it made my day to pull some rings and other things.
Anyways, thanks for stopping by and until next time, Happy Hunting!

Hey it’s me, Kayla! I’ll take my bracelet now thanks! 😂😂😂
Hi Kayla! 🤣✌️
Nice day on the beach Jason! 😎🏖💍
😃 Thanks Wade!
Rock and roll bro.. Nice weather!
It was a beautiful day out there!
Yes, I have the same issue. When you think it's in the middle of the coil it's usually not. I tend to use my pinpointed to narrow down the exact location.
Yea, I have noticed that the pinpoint feature is pretty accurate as far as the target being directly under the center of the coil.
@@jasondoesthings Hi Jason - I mean my hand held pinpointer. I use the Minelab Pro-Find 40. Once I kind of know where it is located with the detector, I then use the Pro-Find 40 to locate the exact location. Targets are not deep here in Round Rock, Texas because this area is too new so I mostly just search the parks.
Jason, I just bought the M9 and it has the same exact issue but it’s a little easier because it’s smaller! The best coil for that machine till they come out with the proper update for the beach guys is the M8 coil I swear by it and you don’t miss a thing and it runs just as deep as the M11 without it being so chatty down in the wet.
I'm definitely hoping to get that coil soon. At the moment I'll have to budget for it though. I think it would be just right. Thanks for the feedback! ✌️
Awesome beach hunt Jason congrats on the rings thanks for sharing your video my friend 👍❤
Awsome!
As always Tim, thanks for your support! Happy hunting buddy!
Nice score!
Perfect!
Thanks! 😊🤙
Wow, what a hunt!! Any of that bling would be find of the month for me. 😄 I also get off-set locations with my Manticore. But it's not consistent so I can't compensate for it. For me, it's probably just overeagerness to start scooping. 🤪
That's probably a major factor that I take a scoop within seconds of hearing the tones. I do notice the pinpointing on the Manticore is fairly accurate though ✌️
Went back to using my Equinox 600. More reliable signals.
Really enjoyed watching you pull all that gold 👌
I've thought about charging up my 800 and giving it a go again. Thanks for watching Rick!
@ 4:20, I thinks that's an Cats Eye Stone.
Could be, it was shimmery. Thanks for watching ✌️
It is not just you. I have the same issue and have notice on videos that it seems to happen often to other people.
beautiful finds
Yea, it's kinda frustrating sometimes, but the target trace makes up for it 😊✌️
Really looks like an opal for ring # 1...???? You may consider wearing foot protection 🤔.... Lots of discarded paraphernalia with points.. Stay safe and Be Blessed 🙏....
Perfect ring!
Thanks Philip! 😊🤙
Why do you dump scoop before rechecking hole
I do that so I can take a smaller amount of sand to sift out of the scoop when I isolate the target. It's just what I'm used to doing also.
It’s not you it’s the M11 and if you don’t use the very front of the coil to find it, it’ll be God knows where
So the issue is in the coil itself? Good to know. I wanna get the smaller coil eventually. Thanks for watching!

Cool! Yea I need to save up and snag one of those!
