Hi 👋, I am new to your boat work shop, I am in my 70s retired, living in France now I used to live in the Uk , in the 80s and 90s I used to race 3 1/2, 7 1/2, 11 and 15cc CMB nitro hydros, not sure whether you know the guy, but I’ve purchased a Rigger from a American gentleman, call Don Pinkiet , not sure whether I spell the name right, but it was supposed to be very good in the boat infertility back in the 70s and 80s, and there was hardly any boat in the UK that compete with it, I would believe by now that is watching over the water now, great running boat. Also my dude been into RC for a while and general tinkery but damn dude if that isn't a fkn weapon on the water!!!!!!! If ya could get to people in the surf without scalping them you'd be more efficient then a life saver potentially!!
@@kx454the turn right because of the rotation of the engine and prop. There for the boat naturally pulls right and turns right better then it could left. As it would be going against the prop.

It was made by a guy In Alabama Mark Ballard. Not sure if he still seeks them. Try Zipkits as they have similar kits and RC Nitro Riggers on the web.

Why do they turn right? Don't these boats turn left?
Turn fin is only on one sponson so it only turns clockwise.
@@robertschmidtrcmodelboats6483 I am aware of that. But, it is odd that they turn right. 99.99% of racing, in the USA, is left-hand turns.
