Thank you, Shane Howard, for raising awareness of a story of the fight against injustice . A battle that continues to the present . Your verse " You can't deny a man when the truth is where he stands. But don't put flowers on his grave Help him now. If you're goin' to start a job, Better be prepared to follow through, Said Clancey and Dooley and Don McLeod" are an inspiration to me .
Fo yourself a favour and read, How the West was lost,by Don McLeod. Absolutely shameful Lang Hancock, Gina should shave her head for shame. And then tell your friends to read this book.
Wonderful that you have brought this to our attention which is part of Australian History.

Love this man and his work for our people and our planet. So proud that he is a Western Districter, like me.
I knew Don. His family is still up north.
I met Peter Coppin in the 70s. A strong man.
Shane always write great songs - I wish the guitar was softer so we can hear the words. The words would be illuminating I imagine.
