Great to see a live recording with Ray Coburn at the keyboards...he was their best, creative keyboard force in all HS's years since the 80's. I miss his playing with them!
Man I have searched for this for over 30 yrs. taped the show on VHS and watched it over and over till that destroyed itself. This should be a dvd release!
+S. Trottier This concert was shot for the Much Music Big Ticket series. There was also a lot of other great ones such as Helix, (which is also on my channel now) The Spoons, Gowan and many more. Few have ever came out on dvd. Guess issues over money with the record label or whatever prevented this. Shame really as fans would love to own this on disc. The April Wine MTV Cedar Rapids show also never came out on dvd.
My favorite band in high school!Discovered them by seeing "New Girl Now" video on Night Tracks on WTBS from Atlanta back in 1984. Wish I could have seen them live, but Mississippi is a long way from Canada! VERY under appreciated band.
This seems like yesterday to me. They were really under-appreciated in the States. But some of us just really latched on to this very Canadian sound. It seems Canadian to us at least. Less attitude, more fun; energy without hostility; can-do party sound without riots and violence. They sound great here.
