Heard this version for the first time today and came looking for it on youtube so I could share it with a friend…thus found your reaction video. I’m also a music teacher (probably since before you were even born), big fan of the original Papa Roach version as well as some Falling in Reverse songs. I had the same exact response as you - serious goosebumps. What an amazing arrangement, vocals and strings are perfection for the emotion of the lyrics.

I just loved watching you react, my daughter reacted the same way…it’s absolutely beautiful, and tore me into a million pieces the first time I heard it…this song reimagined like this really reminded me of all my wounds, my scars, from the past, and how far I’ve come…also how they sneak back in and I take them back (PTSD,) and healthy reminder it’s okay to visit in a healthy place, but leave it where you found it! Then pop on some FIR, and he will always remind you, you are not alone!

I've noticed younger people who love the Papa Roach original have a hard time coming to grips with this having been altered so much and they expect it to be hard when it's soft. But you appreciated it for the standalone artwork that it is.
The funny thing was Papa Roach was on tour with Ronnie during which Ronnie showed him the rough cut of this version of the song and Jacoby went nuts and loved it. The video is up on youtube.
This version puts the lyrics forward an brings out the pain jakobe was feeling when he wrote it. But this version is good I like it. It don't take away from original at all . I think it adds to original actually

Both are reimagined from songs he wrote 11 or 12 ago❤ I love them both but, "I'm not a Vampir, Revamped" and "The Drug In Me Is You, Reimagined" ❤ If you haven't already checked them out, most reactors do the original version and the new version in one video so that they can see the extreme differences ❤ I can't wait for you to see them 👏🏻😅

All three re-imagened/re-vampired songs made me a fan of this type of music from Ronnie Radke. Stunning voice. Love to go to a concert like mtv unplugged style. I think it would be an amazing, intimate concert!
This is a perfect remake. I absolutely love it. He's a very talented musician. A lot of his song's are perfect. Dead on!!!!!
This version hits diferent . Papa Roach made this song for the angry teens back then , Ronnie made this version for us adults .
