    just bought this game yesterday at Target, and it is so much fun. Me and my wife had a very close game, and I think that is why I like it.

      A question. When capital ship is destroyed, does it go back to my deck or to exile deck? (Is it destroyed for good for that game or it is destroyed just for that hand so I have the chance to get it again it that same game)

    • @jackhammer9261
      @jackhammer9261 9 месяцев назад +1

      @VedranSerbu we were playing it goes back to the deck, because that's how I understood it. It's a lot of resources to get, so I feel like it should be worth it. Plus by the time starts getting better troops, destroying the ship, and bombing the planets are easier to do in one turn.

    • @AllAboardBoardgames
      @AllAboardBoardgames  9 месяцев назад +1

      @@jackhammer9261 Yes, this is correct. When a capital ship is destroyed, it goes to your discard pile and you may draw it again later in the game.

    Thanks for this play through! Played one round with my son and thought we weren’t playing correctly. Watched your video and we were close 😅. Now when we play again we will play correctly!

    I really like how the "resource" symbol is a design commonly used in starwars to denote storage crates
    but I will never not think of them as "Spice Crates" due to a really old pc game called: Yoda's Stories

    • @AllAboardBoardgames
      @AllAboardBoardgames  Месяц назад

      It's cool how certain designs can take on a life of their own and evoke different memories for everyone. ‘Spice Crates’ from Yoda’s Stories definitely sounds like it has a nostalgic ring to it! Hope you enjoyed the video!

    Great game and great tutorial. I watched some other tutorials and could not get the head or tail of the game, but this nice couple played it well and showed all the main points in game. Tnx. I subscribed.

    What a nice looking game, especially for Star Wars fans! It looked very easy to learn and play. I loved when Glai blamed her loss on Leia's capture...after all she had the plans! 😊 We are huge Star Wars fans in my house. I was happy to see that it featured characters from the original 3 films. I will have to add this to our collection.

      Hi Dee! Yes, this really is a nice one and it is great to see all the characters from the Star Wars universe in there. The rules are indeed very simple and the game is very smooth. It's pretty quick to set up too and doesn't take too long to play. I'm sure you would enjoy it!

    Great playthrough! The graphics were really helpful. I wish she used Lobot for the force to power up her other cards -- I was rooting for the Rebels -- but honestly, respectable game all around. Might look into getting it!

    At 18:25 you used a capital ship for bounty hunting Chirrut, but capital ships can only attack the enemy base.
    Great report though.

      Wow - we missed that rule in the rulebook, but you are absolutely correct. Thanks for letting us know. I have made a note in the Klingon subtitles. Glad you enjoyed the video! Cheers!

    Very good way to explain.
    Two things to consider :
    Show how you use your discard and hand deck
    And instead of throwing awy your resources buy outer rim pilot

    • @AllAboardBoardgames
      @AllAboardBoardgames  7 месяцев назад +1

      Hi Nick. Often we prefer to throw away the resources rather than buying the Outer Rim Pilot and have it dilute the deck. It can of course be exiled later but that still means that it takes the place of another card in your hand for that round. Thanks for your comment!

    At approx 21:30min: You should have gained 2 resources for the Hammerhead Corvette before banishing it.

    Your playthrough made playing the game so much easier. Thank you! Quick question, can a person use multiple capital ships to protect their base?

    • @AllAboardBoardgames
      @AllAboardBoardgames  10 месяцев назад +2

      Hi there. It's great to hear that our video helped you with playing the game. To answer your question, yes, there is no limit on the number of capital ships you can have protecting your base. Cheers!

    Great video! I feel like in the turn that finishes at 44:50, none of the abilities on the cards were used (including lobot). It's possible I missed something, though! Also if lobot would have been used for "force" all of the abilities would have been improved I think.

    • @AllAboardBoardgames

      Hi Aannon. Yes, Glai missed out on using her Lobot there and it definitely would have helped her. Glad that you liked the video though. Thanks a lot for your comment!

    Thank you for the playthrough (subscribed!). I just played my first game with my brother and the rule book is pretty confusing…who goes first? Does it alternate each turn?

    • @AllAboardBoardgames
      @AllAboardBoardgames  2 месяца назад

      Hi Mike! Thanks a lot for the subscription.
      The Empire always goes first, though the Force starts with the Rebels to balance this out. From then on you just keep taking turns until the end of the game, with the Rebels going second, the Empire going third and so on. Hope this helps!

    Hi Folks ,wonderful game and love the vid play thru ,Im getting a bit long in the tooth these days at 66 so just asking for a wee bit of help on the imperial carriers .what Is the official line by Caleb on the +1 fighter add if a carrier is present ie if 2 carriers are in play does the adjustment on attack value for fighters become +2 cumulative ,makes quite a difference ofc ,but nothing in the Rules !...cheers and happy new year

    • @AllAboardBoardgames
      @AllAboardBoardgames  9 месяцев назад

      Hi Helen. Really glad that you liked our video. To answer your question, yes, the effect on the Imperial Carriers is cumulative so if you have 2 of them in play your fighters gain +2 attack. We wish you a very Happy New Year! Cheers!

    How would you compare this to Star Realms? They seem to play very similarly, but this one seems a bit easier for newer players. I like the idea of the force tracker, otherwise the cards doesn't seem to interact with each other in the same extent as Star Realm does. I also like the idea that you can attack cards in the galaxy row, but it seems like you mostly want to use the resources for other things.
    Also, I would probably not play with the cubes other than marking attack points on the bases. They seem to slow down the game a bunch.

    • @AllAboardBoardgames
      @AllAboardBoardgames  Год назад +1

      Hi Nicco. I would say that this game is better than Star Realms, though they are very similar. The Force track is a great addition, and it really does make some cards very powerful, so if you ignore that it you could find yourself in trouble very quickly. The game is easy to learn for new players for sure. Star Realms probably has more interaction with the cards because of the factions but the Star Wars theme is very cool to play with. As regards attacking cards in the galaxy row, normally you would want to use your resources to attack the base, but if a powerful card comes out for your opponent, it is nice to be able to take it out before they can get their hands on it, and you can also get a nice bonus for doing that. When we play off camera, we also don't use the resources so much. There's no real need for them because you can tap your cards to show that they have been used.

    Can you sabotage/bounty hunt an enemy factions capital ship while they are on galaxy row?

    • @AllAboardBoardgames
      @AllAboardBoardgames  9 месяцев назад

      Hi SgtBaker. You can only sabotage/bounty hunt units in the galaxy deck if they have a target value and a reward listed upside-down on the bottom of that card. Hope this helps!

  • @Scubasgamecorner
    @Scubasgamecorner 10 месяцев назад

    Hello, Can you only purchase one card on your turn? and can you only attack one card in the Galaxy row on your turn.
    I thought it was clear in the rulebook but there are some cards in the game that make it seem that it would be more
    Just want to sure...Because on many turns I have so much resources but can only buy one card and same goes for attacking the galaxy row.

    • @AllAboardBoardgames
      @AllAboardBoardgames  10 месяцев назад

      Hi Stephen. No, you can purchase as many cards as you can afford on your turn, and you may also attack as many cards in the Galaxy Row as you like. Hope this helps!

    It REALLY bothers me that the rebels are red and the empire is blue.

    • @ALOISC1
      @ALOISC1 7 месяцев назад

      You could scan the Force tracker board and change the colours in a photo/graphics program and then print it out. I don't like the ships and characters that weren't in the first 3 Star Wars movies. The missing Yoda card etc...will most likely be in the announced expansion. The Star Wars: Rebellion board game is pure and undefiled original trilogy.
