- This is the soundtrack from Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith. It consists of the opening music and the space battle over Coruscant. This is the original music, not the one that begins with a solo drum. This music was composed by John Williams. Enjoy!

The snare drum really gives it that awesome "tactical" feel. Makes me think of all the clones troopers destroying the droid fleet.
God this has got to be one of the best opening battle scores ever. I get chills whenever I hear it.
Not to worry, we are still flying _half_ a ship!
Another Happy landing
Hello there.
The epicness of this opening scene is something JJ Abrahms can only dream of.
I always like the beginning of Episode 3, especially when Obi and Anakin went in the cruiser, they had some comedy in the scenes, and also the way how Obi was so frustrated over R2, and when Obi, Anakin, and Palpatine got trapped in the ray shield, Anakin thinks R2 will be coming in a few moments but R2 came like in 1 second. Oh yeah, and Obi's line "do you have a plan B?" lol.
This is why I wanted space battles! So I could play this in the background!
+Justin Le “JT” try warthunder with this
+Nicolas Herrero I have, but let's face it; flying an XWing in a capital ship battle is way cooler than your average Warthunder Conquest
but of course! you cant compare an Xwing with anything, the thing is that i like the empire but dont like tie fighters
+Nicolas Herrero Welp, since SWBF 2015 is the disappointment of the year, we'll just have to wait for modders to add space battles for PC players or SWBF 2 to come out for console players
+Ryan Huang bf2 is available for ps2
I can't even explain the epicness at 4:45. It feels like that's what'd play when a huge-ass ship or a Sith Lord arrived to a fight.
+TheXtremetaco123 Ikr. Like having defeated a lot of enemy cruisers with your fleet and then running into a bigger enemy fleet and seeing all these droid fighters coming at you.
I guess someone as important as General Grievous
This is in my opinion the best Star Wars Soundtrack.
+Transformersfan48 now, there i agree with you ;)
Me: "Does listening to this Star Wars soundtrack make me sound like a nerd?"
Friend: "WHO ISN'T A STAR WARS NERD?"
3:12 this is where the fun begins
3:20 is when R2D2 is like BIDIDIDAEEADAIE I love that part; in this piece whenever there's a violin/brass strum the droid noises are soon to follow!!
1:16 is when the actual Battle Over Coruscant music starts.
Well technically the first minute is still when the music starts. The music was meant to be incorporated into the actual main theme. I only just figured that out and I was going to do exactly what you did xD
It's when the drums kick in, and you see that great shot of the ship and at first it doesn't look like a battle and then.... uh-oh!
space battles in Battlefront II
Omg, yes!
1:16 scared the shit out of me...
We're on your tail General Kenobi
Set S-foils in attack position
I want the biggest "red pilot standing by" of all times !
Red leader standing by !
I remember being so surprised at the end of the opening music. It all starts out like normal, and then it transitions straight from the theme to this amazing battle track. Easily one of, if not my favorite, piece of music from all the films.
LEGO Star Wars III memories
honestly i wished star wars had more than just a few dedicated space battle scenes. i thought this was the absolute highlight of the technology.
Anakin: This is when the fun begins!
R2: beep be bep--
ahhh....i LOVE episdoe III. Johns Williams really got it right w/ the music!!
Red Five, copy that....Red Six standing by. I've got your back.
Obi-Wan: WELL DID YOU NOTICE THE SHEILDS ARE STILL UP!!!!!!
Anakin: Sorry master.
LOL
Sorry but I will take the battle over coruscant over the generic death star rehash in TFA anytime.
I would say ANH and Empire are better, but yeah ROTS is an enjoyable movie imo.
I could not agree with you more, TFA is such trash.
Why do people hate SW7 because of non originality,but they love episode 6,which is just SW4....You have no arguments.Actors great,jokes great,action great,audiovisuals great,bad guy great,black guy great,atmosphere great,dialogues great-more naturally,no more dumb Christensen acting.
I don't like only social justice there.
You "fans" complaining on non originality are just amusing.
Best experience in cinema in last 3 years.
***** Yes, I agree too.Not best, but good.
Episode VI had the Emperor actually doing something and an ass-kicking skirmish with Jabba the Hutt and Boba Fett in its first act. As much as I like The Force Awakens, Snoke imitates what Sidious was doing in Empire: doing nothing but looking intimidating through a Hologram, and the Falcon vs TIE Fighter skirmish on Jakku is nothing in comparison to that fight against Jabba.
I love the march version of the Force theme that begins at 1:25... looked EVERYWHERE for that one.
The good thing about this opening is that the transition at 1:16 is not what you expect from the classical opening crawl.
My favorite part about the battle is when Anakin say: "This is where the fun begins!"
This soundtrack is so good when you cut trought ennemy lines while playing a jedi knight or a sith warrior ! :)
1:17 love how it transitions so fast
"We lost something...."
"Not to worry, we are still flying half a ship."
Imagine if you were on that ship and you heard someone say that.
This is the version I love.
And he's a hero: He saved many people and he even brought the Eclipse-II to collide the galaxy gun in "Dark Empire"
"The Republic has taken control of another command post, hostile reinforcements are being depleted!"
"Clone! Watch your fire!"
"For the Republic!"
"They sent on ghe 'Supers!"
"Droideka! Take cover!"
This is where the fun begins! :D
1:39 to 2:08 is my favourite part. It is just epic how John Williams mixed the main theme in...
Happy Star Wars Day, May the 4th be with you
I acutally liked revenge of the sith.
Just not the previous two
Yeah.
Yeah Revenge of the Sith was the 1 good prequel, and has for some reason always been my favorite (don't ask me why)
Everyone gives the prequels too much shit, the only possible bad one is phantom menace.
2 things take a lot of shine off of this battle scene: nothing felt at stake and buzz droids
It's Ben's Theme, which is used in May the Force Be With You, Binary Sunset, Revenge of the Sith (which is the real name of the second half of this song), etc.
To all those arguing over the cough. The problem is that several explanations have been given either by the Extended Universe, Clone Wars series, or other people saying things. After doing some research i found that the actual Canon approach said by the creators of Star Wars and Grevious say that the suit itself is the problem and that it is only a prototype with many glitches. this is a prelude to Vader's suit later which has the problem of giving Vader that awful deep breathing problem.
Red five, standing by... Red six form up on my flank
"In the name of-?! Hold fire, you're not helping!!"
awesome!!! ^.^ i love these songs
Pure goodness.
1:17 badass episode III soundtrack starts
I can't wait for it to come out.
this is where the fun begins
4:46 is perfection
*GENERAL GRIEVOUS:* _(cough, cough)_ What's the situation, Captain?
Gold leader standing by!
Thanks man, found it!
I looked for this sound two weeks and now I found it! YEAH!!!
his chest got crushed by Mace Windu while escaping with Palpatine. It's in the old Clane Wars cartoon, the 2-d one. If I'm not mistaken its here on youtube
“Master general grevious ship is right a head the crawling with valture droids”
Best version of the openingtrack, in my opinion! Love the Force theme variations in there...
no matter what video on youtube i watch, this music makes it worth while, even... (gulp) j- justin-- bieber...
Feckin' epic! 01:40 to 02:14 is my fav part.. I play Star Trek Online and often play this in space battles xD
Green Three standing by.
Awesomeness!!!!!!!!!!¡!!!¡¡¡!!!!
best song in star wars, right here
the part with the drums is the best
One word: EPIC.
This is Green leader, Green squadron, report!
1:39 that has to be one of the most epic versions of The Force theme from A New Hope, ever!
Green one standing by
MUST HAVE SCORE!!!
Unfotanatly that music doesnt appear on the soundtrack but, there is an isolated Score, which has the whole music of the film on it, called 'Star Wars: The Phantom Menace Isolated Score'' just type in:
Star Wars: The Phantom Menace Isolated Score [Part 11 of 14]
into youtube and 7:30 ish into it is the music your looking for!
Indeed
"this is where the fun begins"
1:39 love that music
15 people skipped to 8:40 to listen to this wonderful piece, they did not notice at around 8:00 is when the video ends.
I have those goosebumps too in that point, lol, that "theme" is olmost every track
its remember me instantly on Star Wars Battlefront II
"No one messes with the 501st"
this song is completely original
nothing compares to it
I think I kinda like the OST version better but liked the foreboding drums... I cant tell if the drums leading up to it or the simply being thrust into it is better, love both
In terms of visual effects and action, yes but in terms of story and utter thrill The Battle over Endor in Episode VI is the winner
1:40 when that shit kicks in i get goosebumps all over! It fuckin kicks ass!
It's a brilliant dramatistion of the version played in A New Hope but it's so damn powerful, i have to stop myself waving my hands like a conductor XD
Green 2 standing by.
Green fucking five standing by.
STAR WARS= BEST series of movies ever made and will be made!
awsome
@WWEhero980
Obi:"Along with the death of us all."
Ani:"Didn't you just say only you before."
Obi:"That was episode II. This is III. Different shit."
@TheSharkSushi Red four, standing by!
One can't help but wonder what would've happened if Grievous' ship has kept its doors closed...
We need to make Battlefront III. With the battlefield 3 engine and those nifty cutscenes. Imagine the first level getting briefed with a squad of Clone Pilots and getting deployed in an ARC-170.
if you want to hear the FILM VERSION with the drums tipe this:
Episode III Main Title ROTS - Battle At Coruscant film score
5.21 Brilliant!!!!!!
EPIC
because during pre production lucas had a cough , and he thought that cough would sound cool with grievous
After episode 1 and 2 george said F**K it",pulled down his jeans lifted his checked shirt slightly and slapped his balls on the line, then, he waddled over to the side of the room (jeans still around ankles)and put his balls to the wall. THIS scene brought back that tingly star wars feeling for the first time since Jedi.
with all new graphics and sound effects.
THE TRUTH TO THE COUGH
The actual Canon truth provided by the creators of Grevious is that his suit is only a prototype and that it still has glitches as it doesnt completely cover for his scarred lungs after the explosion of his shuttle. This is a prelude to Vader's breathing difficulties as Vader's suit is based off Grevious'. This is often messed up as both the Extended Universe and Clone Wars series have both given explanations however this one was first.
Good! Good...
golden leader standing by
i can't find this music anywhere can someone tell me where i can download it?
at least we are still flying half the ship
What is the name of the song that starts at 5:22?
just found out this plays in star wars galaxy of heroes ¯\_-ツ-_/¯
Been looking for a couple weeks for this
Mirtha Fernandez yeah. that's all I can think of at the start of the song.
Coruscant is the coolest planet in the star wars universe... period
My hair just stood up for 10 minutes and 56 seconds.
I loved how panicked Obi-wan was during this scene ^.^
