  • Let's hope aboard this Leyland Leopard PSU3F/SR with Plaxton Supreme V body work seen at the start of the 42nd Tyne Tees run as a static display.
    Entered by George Richardson of Consett.
    Built in 1982 , the vehicle is a recent purchase for the current owner, he bought the bus from Alan Dixon of Anfield Plain.
    Known to have operated by Alpha Coaches of Brighton and Rhodri Evans of Ffoshelig in Wales

    Built in 1982.... and looking in really good condition. A credit to its owner.

    Brilliant video, Manual Leopard too, very rare , I had one too Duple dominant 4 bought new from Paul Sykes psv in 1982, had 20 leopards in the end for my school contracts, had then so that drivers didnt bugger clutches up , like on my Scania coaches, had SND352X which was a Tiger plaxton, wish i still had one of them, Dave Smith, formerly Smiths of Brenzett, retired.

      @@DavidSmith-jm2ux many thanks for your comment and kind words and information. It was a quick grab and go video as most of my content is driver kindly let me hop aboard and take a video . I learnt to drive a manual leopard and that was my bus of choice on school contracts as it was always left in the corner of the compound as drivers said it was too hard work but it was a great drive
