Thank you so much for this video. Even though I’m still in my first year of undergrad, my dream is to be a researcher in academia and seeing a lot of “why you should leave academia” type of videos is really discouraging. But you’re right, if you want academia why not? At the end of the day we can find problems in every single field, and negativity will always get more amplified than positive content. If you stray away from your dream because the road presents challenges then what is the purpose of that life? Thank you for reminding me of this!
