One aspect of your videos that makes them so good is that you begin by showing what you are going to build and its use. Then you demonstrate how make such a device. So many others don't let the viewer see what is being made until the end.

I have a circular saw that I've always found awkward to align for cuts. I was looking into the possibility of getting a table saw instead to the rip cuts that I was doing with the circular saw. On seeing this video, I've decided to hold off on that idea and build one of these instead. I don't normally pay for plans, but this time I decided that the jig is that well designed it's worth getting the full drawings and instructions to use alongside the video. The demonstration and construction walkthough is excellent and I feel that even I can complete this project.

The black part that peeks out from the edge makes it easy to match the line, and you can reupholster it to return it to a new condition at any time, and make fine vertical adjustments later!

Doing remodels I have to cut a lot of doors.
This would also work well for cutting siding. It’s alway too flimsy to feed into a chop saw.
Decking is yet another good use. I always fasten my decking long then snap a line and free hand the perimeter. This tool would keep me on the line much easier.
