As a city girl who is married to a man from the rural I always was against rural living, and here you are making me fall in love with rural living. Now I want to build there, so I think we should just sit and come up with a 5 year plan and build but land we must buy soon. Thank you sisi for your work. God bless
It is easy to fall into the trap of disliking the rural areas because of the stereotype people like to put out there. I have heard so many people say the same thing. The benefits are more than you can imagine. Please do start now and make your investment. You will not regret it. 🙏🏾❤️
Just subscribed to this Chanel after seeing you with unapologetic nomads. I was born and raised in the UK with Caribbean background. I never thought of visiting South Africa, but planned to visit Tanzania and Ghana which appeals to the diaspora from the UK. We are desperate to get away from an oppressive society, but looking at Rural SA it looks absolutely beautiful. Africa is beautiful I can’t wait to visit once Covid simmers down. I like to donate to worthy causes having being a social worker in the UK, all of my working life. Love the Vlogs can’t wait to see more.
Thank you fir watching and for joining the family. Welcome. Please do visit South Africa as soon as you can. This is a lovely country and a lot of opportunities for investment. Let me know when you visit because I do a lot of community work too focusing on early childhood development and women empowerment. Stay blessed and I appreciate you. 🙏🏾❤️

Hello Velile! Just subscribed to your channel after watching you and your husband on the Unapologetic Nomad. I enjoyed the content and gained much needed education and learning of the real black SA. I will be watching from now on. I wish I had the funds needed to collaborate with other like minded brothers and sisters to actually work on your husband's suggestion to buy up some of those abandoned buildings in J-burg. Am putting SA on my list of places to visit, just because of what I learnt from you guys. Stay safe and God's blessings upon your family.
Thank you very much for subscribing and I am glad you were inspired by the video we shot with the Jackson family. Please do visit South Africa and explore more opportunities for investment. We all need each other as Africans. I love and appreciate you. 🙏🏾❤️
Thank you. Yes, it is really encouraging to see what young people from the rural areas are doing to better their lives and those of their communities in the villages. 🙏🏾❤️

The plots in Mpumalanga aren't as big as the other provinces you've shown on this channel. And the roads are very narrow. They need to do better when it comes to planning there
I asked them why so squashed and they said there too much demand and space is limited. Most of the land is taken by farmers there someone said. I asked “ whose land is it anyway”. We still need to work hard on this land issue . Peace and love Pelo. 🙏🏾❤️
@@VelileLifestyleDecorTV ANC need to resolve the Land issue before they lose power in 2024 otherwise the country shall be engulfed in a very serious racial war .
Beautiful homes! The walls for the yard must be so costly. I'm building in Eastern Cape and sharing my journey on my channel. In American homes where I currently live we only fence the backyard just to keep your pet (dog) in the yard cause it is illegal to have your pet running around the neighborhood. In Mzantsi, security adds too much to the cost of building a home. Since I have lots of land, I won't have "Stop nonsense" fence but instead I will have security cameras just so I know when someone has broken in. I will put burglar bars as the last defense. But I want to use the NET kind so that my house does not look like prison.
I also don't like the "stop nonsense" in the rurals but some people are making it difficult not too. Because of things such as stock theft. We need to do better for our rural areas
You right. These boundary walls also have a disadvantage because all a criminal wants is to climb up, get in and no one to see what they are doing in your house after that. It’s difficult for your neighbors to see someone looting your house all of your valuables if you have high walls. It’s something to think about. 🙏🏾❤️
@@siyagoniwe1212 I know it is so difficult omg. But I'm trying to show my village neighbors how Americans live so that they can aspire to that. The biggest problem we have in South Africa we are very tolerant of thieves and we just think the problem will go away on its own. We need s combination of education (how to live in a civilized way), cost of theft, tough law and easy access to living well. For instance in America you know if you stieal that could prevent you from getting jobs, can send you to prison, and government will be tough against you. But you also know if you work hard, your hard work is pretty much safe and you are more likely to succeed. Americans are taught that the pie is big and you can get your piece. South Africans are taught the pie is small, you can grab someone else's. Also, just pure jealousy is rife in our culture. Sometimes even families can't lookout for you.

I really appreciate these gorgeous state of the art houses ne... but i can't help to wonder what happens to the livestock when we all hv relocated to build and modernise the rural with pavements and posh mansions and removal of much needed greenery(trees)🙂
I read that you have not watched some of my videos or maybe new to the channel. This was covered many times. Livestock in villages like this are kept in one place and owners hire herders to take the livestock out for grazing and take them back later. Even for ploughing crops, a separate space is allocated for that. That is how developed rural areas in South Africa are doing it. Cooperatives are formed in this manner and selling of livestock is more happening than in the past because of this system. People are no longer keeping livestock for the sake of keeping them to show wealth but they are creating wealth by trading.
