re: "I can't get over it." 7:20 - Kelly, the scenery and footage truly inspire awe. It's a testament to the incredible artistry of the Creator. The Appalachian Trail's magnificence finds a match in this breathtaking territory. Both are unparalleled wonders, and we are truly privileged to witness God's masterful handiwork. I hope that many more people have the blessing of experiencing this video. Thank you! Steve ❤
I was there last week, like you said it was super crowded. Had to hike a long way down west rim to get some solitude. Such a beautiful park, it blew me away. Thank you and great footage
Hi , what a pleasure your videos with breathtaking landscapes 😍😍 , the walk in the water must have been refreshing and the vegetation what to say just beautiful 😀 thank you for the discovery . If one day , i go to the us i put it in the important things to do first . 😍😍
Another great video, thanks. I could never do that hike. It’s so beautiful, but scares the hell out of me. Way too many sketchy spots. lol. I admire your bravery. 👍🏼
Wow. The views were incomparable to anything on earth. I was scared for you. I was worried someone would fall on you. I have to say it because I worry, please be safe. Hope you are enjoying your adventure. Stay well and be careful.
That’s insane(ly beautiful)!! I’ve heard of this before but I didn’t know if it was the place when you mentioned it in the video before. I’m glad I got to see it. And boy, that must have been an amazing experience. What a trip to remember,.. 🙏
I lived up in springdale ut right outside Zions national park. I also lived in LaVerkin down the mt but drove up. Ive worked @ Bummbleberry rest & Pioneer. ROPELLING WAS A BLAST. MY FAV WAS A HIKE (BO PAVEMENT). A CUTE WATERFALL AT END W/TOADS JUMPING OUT TRANCHULAS AND I EVEN CAUFHT SCORPION
My buddy and I used to come here for a week every September back in the 1970's...we would hike a different trail each year and go up into the backcountry on the top of the rim and campout for a few days...it was a magical place...we hardly saw anybody...no permits needed...don't recall any railings either....I remember hiking up the old trail to Observation point one year with a 60lb pack for a 5 day camp on the top and it was epically beautiful but hard work...times have sure changed in the last 40-50 years...what a beautiful place it still is though...just an old man remembering stuff from when he was a young man...selah
You two are so great together. I watches evert post when you did the AT last year and watched your special relationship forming…..glad your hike up the Landing was safe, was relieved when you were down from there. Safe journey…..
That is almost 20 years ago when I drove to the end of the road in Zion as it was the end of January and hardly anyone in the park and the shuttles don't run that time of year or didn't then anyway. I had very little idea about the park and who had recommended I see it never mentioned Angels landing as he obviously had never hiked it but his comment was that it was just gorgeous during the fall when the leaves had changed color but of course when I was there the leaves were long gone. I hiked to the end of the trail portion of the narrows where it became river and no one was going up it as it was ice on water and looked dangerous, even the easy walk was sketchy as it was covered in ice. No doubt angels landing would have been pretty dangerous that time of the year if not certain death. You gave us some fantastic video Kelly and you managed not to fall off the cliffs, getting wrapped up in taking video sure could cause a big oops !.
Absolutely incredible. But, some of the places you were walking I thought I don't even think so. You are braver than this old man. I do enjoy hiking vicariously through you.
Awe, Zion & Bryce...love em both!! Ya gotta hike to the bottom of Bryce to view all the hoo-doos from below! Queens Garden to the other two trails. Amazing place. Did Angels way before permits were even talked about. Have fun hitting all the trails you guys. Be safe, blessings.
All I could think about while the two of you were hiking the first hike was, if you’re all’s families was watching and having an heart attack.🤣 That was some scary Hiking. Thanks for sharing your video and you two stay safe.💕
I love hiking and camping in Zion National Park. I lived in UT for about 10 years a while ago and Zion and Moab were my favorite places to hike, camp and bike. Looks like you and James had a blast!
I was in a cold sweat for pretty much the entirety of this video, but I loved the views! One of my dreams is to hike The Narrows. Enjoy living vicariously through you and James every week. 🙂
Awesome hikes you guys! I have hiked the Narrows but not Angels Landing. It has been on my bucket list for a long time. One of the best video footage I’ve seen btw on AL. Good job 👍 Thanks for sharing the observation point hike. Never knew about that. As always, keep up the good work! Love watching your adventures!
Great video, thanks for sharing! I'll probably never hike AL myself...way to peopley for me. I'm loving your van life content! I just purchased a van myself (under repair) and I am an over preparer, I love seeing that it works out even without a plan!!!
I went to Zion in December - perfect hiking weather, not that many people, and the shuttle isn't running, so you can drive to the trail heads. I can't imagine going to Zion any other time. Props to you!
It's awesome to see you exploring my home state! If you get a chance hit northern Utah as well. There are some amazing hikes throughout the Wasatch front and Unitas.
Hi Kelly, I followed your entire AT experience and the PCT, too. The AT was remarkable, I'd update people with your journey with excitement, usually something like this, "She was hiking in rain all day! She slept in rain." " "She nailed 25 miles and ate a gallon of ice cream!" People would say, yes slow down breathe, to me. So anyway thanks for sharing all of it.
I hiked Angel's Landing in 2005. There were no shuttles then and my girlfriend and I were the only ones on the trail the entire day. Way different now.
Wow that was spectacular! How many people fall off angels landing every year? 😳 that is crazy!!!! I cant believe they let people hike that! You have yet to "spot a spotted owl" 🤣 Great job guys on the video!
I got my boyfriend the same little air conditioner for his food truck and when you freeze it yeah it’s cold but it’s a little inconvenient to freeze it every time lol
Awesome hike I totally did Angels Landing in 2014 when you didn't need a permit. But because its become so popular because of influencers like you, times have changed. Your gonna love Brice Canyon. Your not to far from Arches national park. You should totally do that one for sure and Canyon Lands. I highly recommend you stay at Moab. Its a nice little touristy town. When your in Moab I also highly recommend you go on a ATV tour. You'll not regret it. Oh yeah and there's a brewery in town that you'll like.
We spent about a week in Zion last year and we were lucky enough to get the permits for the Subway and Orderville canyon which ends up in the Narrows. Both were incredible canyoneering hikes! With the van, check out Lambs Knoll outside of the park. It is around the corner when you come out of the Subway hike and you can camp for free. The sunrise over there is breathtaking
Omg omg omg…. That angels landing was terrifying. Don’t people slip and fall OFFFFF.? Glad you guys enjoyed it. Made rock scrambling on the AT look like a walk in the park. Lol…. How hard was it to wade thru the water. I bet your leg muscles were tired from it.
Incredible hike! You’re the second RUclips channel that I’ve seen today that hiked the narrows. KYD was there too. Think they did an almost 10 hr hike. Try putting cold water in the arctic air if you can’t put the sponge thingie in the freezer. I never put mine in the freezer but cold water makes it work great.
Wow, awesome trip! So beautiful, too bad there were so many people. Oh, those Arctic air's only work when you freeze the filter and if it's warm they only work for about 4 minutes. They are just an over priced sketchy fan at best. We bought 2 and ended up giving them to good will. Looking forward to Brice canyon :) Have fun.
Climbing that mountain made my heart race. I am like “hell to the no” I can’t do heights. Lol
Just watching her do selfies next to the precipice gives me a testicles-in-vice sensation. Not a good feeling.
Yup. Hell no! Gave me the total willies
I don’t mind heights but I am NEVER doing that hike
Glad I got to experience it through your video though Kelly!
... Incredible locations ,, Thanks For sharing such an amazing adventure ....
Wow! Majestic beauty on display! So happy to see it through your eyes.
Angels is in my top 5. Your video was lovely, you got some beautiful shots of the park. What an amazing thing to share, you and James are blessed!
Happy to see that you are getting stronger and looking healthier.
I'm adding that park to my bucket list. simply amazing.
Incredible beauty despite the tourist season - thanks for sharing this!

Great video of Zion. A lot to go back there for too. As you mentioned in your video- the Subway is definitely one to have on your list.
This is interesting, it gets more beautiful with every video. Thanks for the work that goes into putting these videos out.
Oh yeah that was great. Been up there 3 times but long ago. Way before the permits or crazy amount of people.
Wow what a incredible climb , I now have to add that to my bucket list🤪
I was there last week, like you said it was super crowded. Had to hike a long way down west rim to get some solitude. Such a beautiful park, it blew me away. Thank you and great footage

Zion looks gorgeous, but so people’y 😂! Thanks for taking us along on your van life adventures!!
Sooooo many people
Kelly that just gave me more anxiety than I can handle
Did Angels Landing before the permit system luckily, very neat hike! Depending on your route thru Utah, you might try Wire Pass and Wildhorse Canyon.
I got my boyfriend the same little air conditioner for his food truck and when you freeze it yeah it’s cold but it’s a little inconvenient to freeze it every time lol
Awesome hike
