it is not an extremely sensitive subject. the bible says homosexuality is wrong so that's it. case closed. i'm not saying to yell at them, or not to be kind to them, but let's be honest, most homosexuals do not want to hear anything that is contrary to the way they have chosen to live. a lot of times if even you suggest that they read the bible or try to show them verses, they will say we are shoving our beliefs on them, which isn't true, we are just trying to show what the bible says, but homosexuality has been shoved on us for many years, so much so, that now if you speak publicly against it, you will be shunned, heavily criticized and shamed. it wasn't like that not too long ago.

Yeah, i 100% agree + i think Christians should be nicer to them and more welcoming, some act like lgbtq people are a whole different breed. They forget that they need to represent Jesus. Jesus would never push them away. He loves you, but he doesn't like sins. I agree, but I also feel like right now, that so many people target them is because they are pushing their beliefs down everyone's throat. Everywhere you turn is gay this or trans that. It is a hard thing to discuss though definitely especially because I have many friends who identify as gay and it’s a hard topic to speak to them about but of course we have to come with love and compassion because simply saying they’ll never go to heaven or something of course that pushes them away. And yes as you said I hate when people treat homosexuality as if that’s it’s own type of sin, all sin is sin but we struggle with different ones and I also struggle with my own personal sins. I agree with what you said which is rejecting and pushing them is forcing them to put up a protective shell and therefore they avoid God all together. It’s so hard because half of the world says it’s wrong and half says it’s right. I’ve tried to stand on what I feel convicted to stick by in my heart and stand up for a person I care about. However it’s not easy. It’s so hard to know what to do because everyone especially Christian’s are so critical and all I want is this person to know how much they are loved. To feel Gods love and to feel how perfect they are when all they can see in themsleves is dozens of flaws. I find it sad how critics a lot of Christian’s are and saying not to let them in the church because they will think it’s okay. However all the lgbt people who came out of it came out of it “because they experienced Gods love and it removed a lot of their layers mainly for a few of the trans who learned to love themsleves and want to be anything less then who they were because of the love God showed to them.

As someone who has been attracted to the same sex, I have done hours' worth of research on this topic. There are people who pledge a life of celibacy because they are not attracted to the opposite sex and do not want to sin against God. It can be challenging for lgbtq+ identifying people to openly listen to someone such as yourself talking about this subject who has never dealt with the topic you are discussing. Still, I can see and appreciate that you're coming from a place of love and simply preaching the word of God. I admire you for being unapologetic and committed to your Faith.

Here’s the verse: “Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Well said. Before we as a people got so friendly with homosexuality, we were cozying up to casual sex, divorce/remarriage, and other things God had told us not to do, if anything MORE clearly than He told us to abstain from same-sex relations.
Because the two are not mutually exclusive. Who you ARE and what you DO are not necessarily tied. It’s the same way a child can look like his parents and choose a different path in life. He’s still their child, but making his own way.

Today, I told my parents that being gay is a sin. They told me that it is not, I said that it is... But I said that we should still love eachother, because we all are sinners and need Jesus. The words translated as “homosexual” and “Man with man” are direct mistranslations tho. If you study what the original text means and its relation to society at the time it is very valid to say that the word arsenokoitai, which is what was translated later into “homosexual” or “man with man” is supposed to be translated as “Abuser” or more specifically a man taking advantage of a young man, or boy, who was most likely a slave. It doesn’t have anything to do with homosexuality as we know it today, which is two consenting adults engaging in relationships with the same gender. I will also add that I spent years praying for Jesus to turn my heart, including turning me straight, and that part is the only part of me he did not touch. And if you believe that Jesus changes you and changes you for the better, as I do, then that has to mean that Jesus did not change my homosexuality because it was meant to be there in the first place. Because if it wasn’t, he would have e changed me.
God’s design for sex was to be “fruitful and multiply”. While it is pleasurable to the flesh, its purpose is not for pure enjoyment, but to serve a purpose. A purpose with a result that two men or women cannot achieve. Everything we do as believers in Christ is to do God’s will. If the end result of our actions do not reflect God’s will, then it is not of God. No one is perfect, all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. However, we give the desires of the flesh over to God and do what He wants us to do, even if it requires rejecting what our flesh wants to do.

Encouraging people not to isolate and reject gay people is fine but you’re still treating being gay as a sin. Sexuality is a part of a person you can’t just pray away. NO ONE SHOULD SEEK THEIR OWN GOOD, BUT THE GOOD OF OTHERS.” And in 1 Corinthians 13:13 “SO NOW FAITH, HOPE, AND LOVE ABIDE, THESE THREE; BUT THE GREATEST OF THESE IS LOVE.” and 1 Peter 4:8 “ABOVE ALL, LOVE EACH OTHER DEEPLY, BECAUSE LOVE COVERS OVER A MULTITUDE OF SINS” and Galatians 5:13-15 “You, my brothers and sisters, WERE CALLED TO BE FREE. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, SERVE ONE ANOTHER HUMBLY IN LOVE. FOR THE ENTIRE LAW IS FULFILLED IN KEEPING THIS ONE COMMAND: ‘LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.’ IF YOU BITE AND DEVOUR EACH OTHER, WATCH OUT OR YOU WILL BE DESTROYED BY EACH OTHER.” Conversion therapy and to not accept lgbtq+ people for being themselves are harmful for the individuals who are lgbtq+. And it’s not christian-like to bring harm to other people. AS CHRISTIANS, WE SHOULD “SEEK THE GOOD OF OTHERS” (AS STATED IN THE BIBLE! REMEMBER, 1 corinthians 10:23-24 ) AND THEREFORE ACCEPT LGBTQ+ PEOPLE AND SUPPORT THEM AGAINST DISCRIMINATION. Because telling them that lgbtq+ is a sin, can make them feel as if there’s something inherently wrong with them or that they are not deserving of love/marriage. And it’s not like they harm other people and force other people to marry them or become like them. They just want to have the same human rights and to be able to be themselves. And remember Matthew 12:33-37 “Make a tree good and its fruit will be good, or make a tree bad and its fruit will be bad, for a tree is recognized by its fruit. You brood of vipers, how can you who are evil say anything good? For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of. A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in him, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in him. But I tell you that everyone will have to give account on the day of judgment for every empty word they have spoken. For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned.” I do think you’ve gone about the topic in a constructive way, compared to some christians who condemn lgbt+ but are fine with racism, for example, and that you’ve tried to be compassionate . I just think that it’s better to see lgbt+ as another type of love and another type of identity and to utter acceptance towards lgbt+. Since they don’t harm other people, they just want to be able to be themselves and to be able to also marry/be in a loving relationship, for example. I also want to clarify that I think hell is a metaphor and not to literally burn in a fire for all eternity, so I don’t think anyone will be condemned to hell or anything. I just think God will make us see our wrongdoings, if we haven’t already, or something like that. But whilst we’re alive, I think we should try to be compassionate towards other people, and try to understand other people instead of judging too quickly. And 1 Corinthians 4:8-13 makes me think of the lgbtq+ people who are christians and how they might feel: “Already you have all you want! Already you have become rich! You have begun to reign - and that without us! How I wish that you really had begun to reign so that we also might reign with you!” “We are fools for Christ, but you are so wise in Christ! We are weak, but you are strong! You are honored, we are dishonored! To this very hour we go hungry and thirsty, we are in rags, we are brutally treated, we are homeless. Hell is real and that's the default place if you truly don't accept or follow Jesus Christ. That includes the LGBT sin is sin. Obviously the only reason that Christians are so strict about the whole l.g.b.t.q. aspect is because for instance you should not have to be making a video like this in regards to that particular sin and it isn't love, it is lust. They are not the only ones that have ever struggled with their sexuality or that will, I myself even struggled with my sexuality and gender identity. Refusing to accept that Jesus Christ the creator of the universe can fix a reprobate mind is basically like saying that Jesus Christ is not God, since he alone can do it and he can do it a lot easier than people make it seem. I just pray for God to give this person an awakening or encounter with God because I believe if they just felt who God is for a single moment I think I’d remove a lot of chains or shields that layer this person towards the choices they pick in their lives and I think they’d feel a kind of love and freedom that too me would save their life and I don’t want to loose this person.

This is an extremely tough situation because although gender dysphoria is so real, as a society, we are quick to affirm rather than help a person through their pain so that they can get to a place of self-love and acceptance of themselves in their natural state. And where there is no faith, fear, or belief in God, as people, it makes sense to be ok with doing whatever we want. To do whatever makes us feel good. Because who doesn't want to feel good? And anyone who goes against that is seen as an oppressor. I can't imagine the guilt you may feel, but as you do your best to stand firm on your beliefs while loving your person, remember not to be too hard on yourself, either. Whatever happens, it's not your fault; you're doing your best.

I think it should be noted that in the context of the OT, homosexuality was only considered a sinful act because the vast majority of cases were causing harm to younger people, and often lead to either incest or rape. Leviticus 18 makes this point very clear in the overarching context.

If you say that you follow the bible, there’s other things to take into account than just the verses about homosexuality being wrong in the bible. I’m going to try to explain why I don’t think it’s wrong to be LGBT+ according to the bible. For example 1 corinthians 10:23-24 “‘I have the right to do anything’, you say - but not everything is beneficial.’I have the right to do anything’ - but not everything is constructive. NO ONE SHOULD SEEK THEIR OWN GOOD, BUT THE GOOD OF OTHERS.” And in 1 Corinthians 13:13 “SO NOW FAITH, HOPE, AND LOVE ABIDE, THESE THREE; BUT THE GREATEST OF THESE IS LOVE.” and 1 Peter 4:8 “ABOVE ALL, LOVE EACH OTHER DEEPLY, BECAUSE LOVE COVERS OVER A MULTITUDE OF SINS” and Galatians 5:13-15 “You, my brothers and sisters, WERE CALLED TO BE FREE. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, SERVE ONE ANOTHER HUMBLY IN LOVE. FOR THE ENTIRE LAW IS FULFILLED IN KEEPING THIS ONE COMMAND: ‘LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.’ IF YOU BITE AND DEVOUR EACH OTHER, WATCH OUT OR YOU WILL BE DESTROYED BY EACH OTHER.” Conversion therapy and to not accept lgbtq+ people for being themselves are harmful for the individuals who are lgbtq+. Because telling them that lgbtq+ is a sin, can make them feel as if there’s something inherently wrong with them or that they are not deserving of love/marriage. For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned.” I do think you care about your friend and want what’s best for your friend and that you are a person who are/try to be compassionate towards others. However, the best thing for lgbt+ is to listen, try to understand them and accept them for who they are. And I think most people want to feel accepted for who they are, so if we are to follow Matthew 7:12 ” So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.” we should accept lgbt+ for who they are. Because it’s just another type of love or identity, it’s not violence or anything like that. Lgbt+ don’t harm other people, they just want to be able to be themselves and to be able to also marry/be in a loving relationship, for example. I also want to clarify that I think hell is a metaphor and not to literally burn in a fire for all eternity, so I don’t think anyone will be condemned to hell or anything. I just think God will make us see our wrongdoings, if we haven’t already, or something like that. But whilst we’re alive, I think we should try to be compassionate towards other people, and try to understand other people instead of judging too quickly. And 1 Corinthians 4:8-13 makes me think of the lgbtq+ people who are christians and how they might feel: “Already you have all you want! Already you have become rich! You have begun to reign - and that without us! How I wish that you really had begun to reign so that we also might reign with you!” “We are fools for Christ, but you are so wise in Christ! We are weak, but you are strong! You are honored, we are dishonored! To this very hour we go hungry and thirsty, we are in rags, we are brutally treated, we are homeless. The letter of 1 Timothy was a specific case addressed to Paul, and so, Paul's specific message to Timothy is not a universal one. "teach or exercise authority over a man" Men and women are to be considered equal in a church. A woman should not act in a way that makes them appear superior to the opposite sex. "she is to remain quiet" In other words, a woman should not take control over a sermon or prayer through commotion or interruption, as it shows disrespect and implies an authority in the church not equal to that of men. Don't use Bible quotes to prove your own narrative if you don't even know what it means in context 🙃

In the NT, the Gospels are what is Universal, not the letters. I side with the Bible too. But I feel so alone at my church. The church I go to welcomes the Homosexual community. They accept them as they are. I know homosexuality is a sin and I believe that too. The message isn't just for LGBTQ+.. it's for all sinners who sin; even heterosexal sex outside of marriage is sin. It is a hard thing to discuss though definitely especially because I have many friends who identify as gay and it’s a hard topic to speak to them about but of course we have to come with love and compassion because simply saying they’ll never go to heaven or something of course that pushes them away. And yes as you said I hate when people treat homosexuality as if that’s it’s own type of sin, all sin is sin but we struggle with different ones and I also struggle with my own personal sins. So a gay person who feels convicted and me who still struggles with some types of sins we’re on the same level … and one more thing. I agree with what you said which is rejecting and pushing them is forcing them to put up a protective shell and therefore they avoid God all together. It’s so hard because half of the world says it’s wrong and half says it’s right. I’ve tried to stand on what I feel convicted to stick by in my heart and stand up for a person I care about. However it’s not easy.
It’s so hard to know what to do because everyone especially Christian’s are so critical and all I want is this person to know how much they are loved. To feel Gods love and to feel how perfect they are when all they can see in themsleves is dozens of flaws.
I find it sad how critics a lot of Christian’s are and saying not to let them in the church because they will think it’s okay. As someone who has been attracted to the same sex, I have done hours' worth of research on this topic. There are people who pledge a life of celibacy because they are not attracted to the opposite sex and do not want to sin against God. It can be challenging for lgbtq+ identifying people to openly listen to someone such as yourself talking about this subject who has never dealt with the topic you are discussing. The words translated as “homosexual” and “Man with man” are direct mistranslations tho. If you study what the original text means and its relation to society at the time it is very valid to say that the word arsenokoitai, which is what was translated later into “homosexual” or “man with man” is supposed to be translated as “Abuser” or more specifically a man taking advantage of a young man, or boy, who was most likely a slave. It doesn’t have anything to do with homosexuality as we know it today, which is two consenting adults engaging in relationships with the same gender. I will also add that I spent years praying for Jesus to turn my heart, including turning me straight, and that part is the only part of me he did not touch. And if you believe that Jesus changes you and changes you for the better, as I do, then that has to mean that Jesus did not change my homosexuality because it was meant to be there in the first place. Because if it wasn’t, he would have e changed me.
God’s design for sex was to be “fruitful and multiply”. While it is pleasurable to the flesh, its purpose is not for pure enjoyment, but to serve a purpose. A purpose with a result that two men or women cannot achieve. Everything we do as believers in Christ is to do God’s will. If the end result of our actions do not reflect God’s will, then it is not of God. No one is perfect, all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. However, we give the desires of the flesh over to God and do what He wants us to do, even if it requires rejecting what our flesh wants to do.

I’m going to try to explain why I don’t think it’s wrong to be LGBT+ according to the bible, because if you say that you follow the bible, there’s other things to take into account than just the verses about homosexuality being wrong in the bible. For example 1 corinthians 10:23-24 “‘I have the right to do anything’, you say - but not everything is beneficial.’I have the right to do anything’ - but not everything is constructive. NO ONE SHOULD SEEK THEIR OWN GOOD, BUT THE GOOD OF OTHERS.” And in 1 Corinthians 13:13 “SO NOW FAITH, HOPE, AND LOVE ABIDE, THESE THREE; BUT THE GREATEST OF THESE IS LOVE.” and 1 Peter 4:8 “ABOVE ALL, LOVE EACH OTHER DEEPLY, BECAUSE LOVE COVERS OVER A MULTITUDE OF SINS” and Galatians 5:13-15 “You, my brothers and sisters, WERE CALLED TO BE FREE. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, SERVE ONE ANOTHER HUMBLY IN LOVE. FOR THE ENTIRE LAW IS FULFILLED IN KEEPING THIS ONE COMMAND: ‘LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.’ IF YOU BITE AND DEVOUR EACH OTHER, WATCH OUT OR YOU WILL BE DESTROYED BY EACH OTHER.”
Conversion therapy and to not accept lgbtq+ people for being themselves are harmful for the individuals who are lgbtq+. And it’s not christian-like to bring harm to other people. I’m thinking that the best thing for lgbtq+ people is to support them and their right to not be discriminated against and also support their right to healthcare and mental healthcare. AS CHRISTIANS, WE SHOULD “SEEK THE GOOD OF OTHERS” (AS STATED IN THE BIBLE! REMEMBER, 1 corinthians 10:23-24 ) AND THEREFORE ACCEPT LGBTQ+ PEOPLE AND SUPPORT THEM AGAINST DISCRIMINATION. Because telling them that lgbtq+ is a sin, can make them feel as if there’s something inherently wrong with them or that they are not deserving of love/marriage. And it’s not like they harm other people and force other people to marry them or become like them. They just want to have the same human rights and to be able to be themselves.
And remember Matthew 12:33-37 “Make a tree good and its fruit will be good, or make a tree bad and its fruit will be bad, for a tree is recognized by its fruit. You brood of vipers, how can you who are evil say anything good? For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of. A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in him, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in him. But I tell you that everyone will have to give account on the day of judgment for every empty word they have spoken. For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned.”
I do think you’ve gone about the topic in a constructive way, compared to some christians who condemn lgbt+ but are fine with racism, for example, and that you’ve tried to be compassionate . I just think that it’s better to see lgbt+ as another type of love and another type of identity and to utter acceptance towards lgbt+. Since they don’t harm other people, they just want to be able to be themselves and to be able to also marry/be in a loving relationship, for example.
I also want to clarify that I think hell is a metaphor and not to literally burn in a fire for all eternity, so I don’t think anyone will be condemned to hell or anything. I just think God will make us see our wrongdoings, if we haven’t already, or something like that. But whilst we’re alive, I think we should try to be compassionate towards other people, and try to understand other people instead of judging too quickly.
And 1 Corinthians 4:8-13 makes me think of the lgbtq+ people who are christians and how they might feel: “Already you have all you want! Already you have become rich! You have begun to reign - and that without us! How I wish that you really had begun to reign so that we also might reign with you!” “We are fools for Christ, but you are so wise in Christ! We are weak, but you are strong! You are honored, we are dishonored! To this very hour we go hungry and thirsty, we are in rags, we are brutally treated, we are homeless. We work hard with our own hands. When we are cursed, we bless; when we are persecuted, we endure it; when we are slandered, we answer kindly.”

Obviously the only reason that Christians are so strict about the whole l.g.b.t.q. aspect is because for instance you should not have to be making a video like this in regards to that particular sin and it isn't love, it is lust. They are not the only ones that have ever struggled with their sexuality or that will, I myself even struggled with my sexuality and gender identity. Refusing to accept that Jesus Christ the creator of the universe can fix a reprobate mind is basically like saying that Jesus Christ is not God, since he alone can do it and he can do it a lot easier than people make it seem.

I understand that the bible mentions other sinful acts but it’s important to note that others who commit these others acts are usually more shameful of these. Most extortioners don’t “identify” has someone who rips people off. There also is a pride march supporting those who abuse alcohol. I think it should be noted that in the context of the OT, homosexuality was only considered a sinful act because the vast majority of cases were causing harm to younger people, and often lead to either incest or rape.
Leviticus 18 makes this point very clear in the overarching context.

If you say that you follow the bible, there’s other things to take into account than just the verses about homosexuality being wrong in the bible. I’m going to try to explain why I don’t think it’s wrong to be LGBT+ according to the bible. For example 1 corinthians 10:23-24 “‘I have the right to do anything’, you say - but not everything is beneficial.’I have the right to do anything’ - but not everything is constructive. NO ONE SHOULD SEEK THEIR OWN GOOD, BUT THE GOOD OF OTHERS.” And in 1 Corinthians 13:13 “SO NOW FAITH, HOPE, AND LOVE ABIDE, THESE THREE; BUT THE GREATEST OF THESE IS LOVE.” and 1 Peter 4:8 “ABOVE ALL, LOVE EACH OTHER DEEPLY, BECAUSE LOVE COVERS OVER A MULTITUDE OF SINS” and Galatians 5:13-15 “You, my brothers and sisters, WERE CALLED TO BE FREE. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, SERVE ONE ANOTHER HUMBLY IN LOVE. Conversion therapy and to not accept lgbtq+ people for being themselves are harmful for the individuals who are lgbtq+. And it’s not christian-like to bring harm to other people. I’m thinking that the best thing for lgbtq+ people is to support them and their right to not be discriminated against and also support their right to healthcare and mental healthcare. AS CHRISTIANS, WE SHOULD “SEEK THE GOOD OF OTHERS” (AS STATED IN THE BIBLE! REMEMBER, 1 corinthians 10:23-24 ) AND THEREFORE ACCEPT LGBTQ+ PEOPLE AND SUPPORT THEM AGAINST DISCRIMINATION. Because telling them that lgbtq+ is a sin, can make them feel as if there’s something inherently wrong with them or that they are not deserving of love/marriage. And it’s not like they harm other people and force other people to marry them or become like them. They just want to have the same human rights and to be able to be themselves.
And remember Matthew 12:33-37 “Make a tree good and its fruit will be good, or make a tree bad and its fruit will be bad, for a tree is recognized by its fruit. You brood of vipers, how can you who are evil say anything good? For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of. A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in him, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in him. But I tell you that everyone will have to give account on the day of judgment for every empty word they have spoken. For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned.”
I do think you care about your friend and want what’s best for your friend and that you are a person who are/try to be compassionate towards others. However, the best thing for lgbt+ is to listen, try to understand them and accept them for who they are. And I think most people want to feel accepted for who they are, so if we are to follow Matthew 7:12 ” So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.” we should accept lgbt+ for who they are. Because it’s just another type of love or identity, it’s not violence or anything like that. Lgbt+ don’t harm other people, they just want to be able to be themselves and to be able to also marry/be in a loving relationship, for example.
I also want to clarify that I think hell is a metaphor and not to literally burn in a fire for all eternity, so I don’t think anyone will be condemned to hell or anything. I just think God will make us see our wrongdoings, if we haven’t already, or something like that. But whilst we’re alive, I think we should try to be compassionate towards other people, and try to understand other people instead of judging too quickly.
And 1 Corinthians 4:8-13 makes me think of the lgbtq+ people who are christians and how they might feel: “Already you have all you want! Already you have become rich! You have begun to reign - and that without us! How I wish that you really had begun to reign so that we also might reign with you!” “We are fools for Christ, but you are so wise in Christ! We are weak, but you are strong! You are honored, we are dishonored! To this very hour we go hungry and thirsty, we are in rags, we are brutally treated, we are homeless. We work hard with our own hands. When we are cursed, we bless; when we are persecuted, we endure it; when we are slandered, we answer kindly.”

If you really care about what the Bible says, you should look into scholarship on the original phrases used in those passages that NOW get translated as “homosexual” to imply consenting same-sex relationships.
The reality is that the terminology is ambiguous and many scholars would associate the original language with a Greco-Roman practice called pederasty, which was a state-approved form of homosexual child rape that took place to instill violent sexual values of dominance in young men. Students were raped by their teachers to plant in them a fear of being dominated. Some passages also seem to be referring to temple prostitution, another state-supported system filled with sexual abuse.
The reality is that there is probably no mention of consenting homosexual romance in the Bible. The translations of these passages that reflect that idea are recent translations, have no manuscript evidence supporting them, and were explicitly made in a modern context where homosexuality had become a hot-button issue. The letter of 1 Timothy was a specific case addressed to Paul, and so, Paul's specific message to Timothy is not a universal one.

Men and women are to be considered equal in a church. A woman should not act in a way that makes them appear superior to the opposite sex.

In other words, a woman should not take control over a sermon or prayer through commotion or interruption, as it shows disrespect and implies an authority in the church not equal to that of men.

That's what the letters were designed for. In the NT, the Gospels are what is Universal, not the letters.
Certain aspects of his letters may be universally applied, but it should be noted that those letters were only addressing specific queries and issues those churches were struggling with.

The Bible does speak on lesbianism by calling it a dishonorable passion. The desire itself is sinful, but there is redemption in Jesus Christ.
